This is one of my favorite multi-tools. Yes, it’s pricy, but the design and engineering is top-notch and works extremely well.
Leatherman Rebar Multi-Tool – Save 25%
All of the different color options are on discounted. This is a solid multi-tool with compact design, great pliers, replaceable wire cutters, and all of the smaller tools you’d expect to see in a Leatherman. While not my favorite, it’s a great tool for half the price of the Wave.

If you have the time, I’d say it’s definitely worth looking through some of Amazon’s other Prime Day deals.
For example, they have AprilAire dehumidifiers for considerably less than I just bought mine for, and they’re bundled with accessories whereas I had to buy all of mine (such as a drainage tube) separately.

It’s more of a “want”, not a need, and have a bunch of Amazon points I’ve been saving for a “want”. But the Acme is a good tip that even a good Prime deal might not be the best deal.

This spurred me to look at MetaboHPT’s Amazon store, for potential deals. And they do have sales up to 51% off. They have 38% off a third generation triple hammer kit. Bringing the price to $122.55
I may pass on MetaboHPT sales this time around. I’m hoping for holiday deals combo’d with updated style 36 volt batteries. Or maybe even a holiday promotion that gets me one of their new tabless batterie’s.

Stuart, ToolGuyd is my first visit in the morning when Amazon Prime Days kicks in. 1000’s of us appreciate all the work you put in every Prime Day along with your commentary and opinions regarding the many different options and advice on purchasing or waiting. It wasn’t that long ago when Amazon’s Prime Days were so cluttered that navigating was nearly impossible and I would just give up. Yes Amazon has gotten tremendously better but so has ToolGuyd! Very much appreciate this site not only for Prime Days but daily throughout the year!

It’s like the feeling of getting in on a great bargain, but without having to buy something myself (most of the time).

I got that worx 4 v screwdriver that I’ve been looking at for a long time.
I’m trying to find something I like as well as the Black and Decker Gyro driver that I learned about on toolguyd a long time ago. It barely works since the battery is weak. What I liked about it was that I could drive screws very gently, things like drawer slides. The trouble with the rechargables is that they eventually peter out and die. This one has a three settings and I have great hopes for it.
