Bora Lumber Rack

If you’ve been meaning to get your wood boards off the floor or a hard to access stack, this Bora wall-mounted lumber rack is on sale today.

Andrew wrote in with a deal tip (thank you!):

I know you have talked about these before. Killer deal here today while supplies last.

I took a look, and he’s right! Woot has the Bora 4-tier lumber rack on sale for $31.99. Shipping appears to be $6 or free for Amazon Prime members.

This looks to be a very good deal.

You can use this for wood boards, and items of similar size, such as snowboards, hockey sticks, and I suppose plastic pipes if you affix a roll-stop to the shelves.

Buy Now via Woot
Compare via Amazon

Deal ends at 3am ET 5/28/21 unless supplies sell out sooner.

If you need more storage, you can buy multiple pairs of racks, or the 6-tier rack which is currently $48.42 at Amazon.

Yeah, that’s probably why they’re on sale. 😉

I had to pick up cedar at the lumberyard last week.

Stick my hands over my ears and said lalalala at the total.

I always wondered why someone would ever buy a lumber rack rather than just knocking one together out of wood. But with wood what it is these days, the Bora on sale is probably by far the cheaper option! Looks a little classier than 2×4 racking too, if you’re into that sort of thing. I could also see this being a pretty good option for racks on a roll-around scrap wood or lumber cart. Sheet goods on one side and this nice rack on the other. Hmm.

Bought a few kits of these years ago and used Spax screws to install them on the exposed 6×6 posts in a garage, with the bottom shelves at about head height, so that carts, lawn equipment, etc could fit underneath, while the boards were accessed with a small step ladder. Worked very well, plenty strong enough, and looked as good when I moved out a few years later as they did when I installed them. Would recommend.
