This combo kit came out last winter, and looked like a decent package. Its regular price, $199, wasn’t “hot deal” pricing, but $139 sure is.

Tip: The 12V Max compact reciprocating saw works great with 4″ blades, but you can use longer blades if you have to.

I don’t think I’ve ever used a Bosch drill. I’ve used an older jigsaw and their jobsite table saw is great. This price almost seems to good to pass up. Anyone have any experience with the drill?
chris
That’s their older model brushed drill and gets good reviews.

I have the drill, and while I have other beefier (18 volt) drills and impact drivers, I find myself liking the “just right” size and power of this drill for lots of things. There is a lot to be said for compact light weight drills. I always thought when buying a system that I needed the latest most powerful drill or the largest battery. But when it comes to just quickly grabbing a drill to quickly drill some holes or drive some screws, I find myself grabbing this one first.

I had their drill and impact for a while, quality tools for sure. BUT like i have said and will always say…. They don’t have a belt hook. Sold them and went red.

Except for the bag I’ve got every one of these tools. Yes the drill is older but I was actually using t yesterday on a 12’ ladder. (In case I dropped it or I was to lazy to fetch the brushless model. The LED is amongst my very favorite. The 2 Ah batteries are fine though 3Ah and 6Ah models are out innsome markets. The weird little saw works well but it’s kinda puny. I’m sure the charger and bag are fine too. ;-)~

Darn iPhone punctuation and other excuses for tapping too fast…

I have their impact and 1/4″ drive drill(since 2011), but wish I had an adjustable chuck. I use them 90% of the time. It fits in the back pocket/tool pouch while on a ladder, the power had never been an issue, even deck building. The light and reciprocating saw are on my wish list and am contemplating this deal myself.

I LOVE that Hackzall and the drill is great for the size. Yes, it’s not brushless but it works well and is sturdy. This is a heckuva deal!

Have the drill. Great for small spaces.

I sold mine for the same reason: no belt hook!
I ended up replacing it with the Makita 18V subcompact (the brushless 12V version of the Bosch was unavailable at the time).

I’m loving the subcompacts
