Over at Acme Tool, their 11% Bosch coupon takes an extra $18.59 off the price of the Bosch 12V Max cordless FlexiClick drill/driver set.
The final price: $150.41, plus shipping if you don’t bump your order over $199. Shipping over $199 is free.
It’s a good cordless drill, and the different head attachments make it very versatile. I don’t like to call it an x-in-1 tool, but it does eliminate the need for different tools in certain situations.
- 265 in-lbs max torque
- 0-400, 0-1300 RPM (no load)
- Weighs 1.8 lbs (presumably with battery)
- 5.4″ length
- LED worklight
- One-click attachment interface
It has a built-in 1/4″ hex bit holder and comes with 4 tool attachments – 1/4″ chuck, right angle adapter, drill chuck, offset driver adapter, and a locking bit holder attachment.
It launched at $199 (sorry for all you early adopters – I tried to convince Bosch to do something for you, but in the end the logistics would have been a nightmare), and was discounted to $169 last month.
$150.41 is still a little pricey compared to traditional 12V-class cordless drills, but the kit does cost less and takes up less space than separate tools. I’d like to call it a gift idea, but it’s more of a “I KNOW this is what I need or want” kind of kit.
I think that the price went from $199 to $169 because Bosch wasn’t seeing the sales volume they had been hoping for. Or maybe it was intended to sell at the $169 price all along. Either way, I’d be surprised to see the price drop further. Maybe there will be a flash sale or similar, but I doubt it. This isn’t exactly a “sell to holiday shoppers” kind of tool.
Anyways, for those of you who have been on the fence about the FlexiClick drill/driver system, now’s your time to save a little bit more.

It’d be sweet if the $30 off $149+ instant Amazon discount worked on this kit, but it doesn’t.
