Bosch 12V Reciprocating Saw Deal

Bosch PS60 12V Compact Cordless Reciprocating Saw

We received a tip that the relatively new Bosch PS60-2A 12V reciprocating saw kit dropped in price to about $150 over at Amazon, which is roughly $20-25 cheaper than their competitors are selling it for. It looks like Amazon is sold-out for the moment, and is reporting a shipping estimate of 2-5 weeks.

This looks to be a great deal if you’re okay potentially waiting a couple of weeks for Amazon to restock their shelves. It is worth nothing that Amazon does not charge credit cards until an item ships, so you can always cancel if you change your mind or find a better deal before then.

Saws like that are perfect for plumbing cutouts and repair, or for your junkyard bag.

I’ve had one for a couple of months and has become a go to tool in the garage for small quick jobs. I want to say I paid about $170 at Menards for the saw, 2 high capacity batteries, charger, soft side bag, with a bundled pocket driver as a bare tool.

If you have invested in the Bosch 12V lineup – this tool is worth a look.
We had doubts about the similar Hackzall for the Milwaukee M12 lineup – but it is a now a go-to tool for our installers and plumbers. Has not replaced corded Sawzalls and Cordless Makita LXT recip saws – but its found a place on the trucks.

Check Lowe’s prices, on sale for $99 a couple of weeks ago.
