Bosch 18V Drill Kit with Bit Set and Laser Measurer Deal Bundle

Over at Amazon, their Prime Day tool deals are okay, but they can be hard to sort through. I thought there was one deal that stood out as being especially noteworthy, and wanted to highlight it in a separate post.

There’s a Bosch bundle for $95.11 before tax. While the drill kit itself, DDB181-02, is typically $100 during holiday season, the deal’s not just about the lower price, but about the goodies bundled with the drill kit.

You get the cordless drill kit, an unremarkable but probably useful 47pc screwdriver bit set, and a GLM 10 compact 35′ laser distance measurer.

So that’s a $100-105 drill kit, a $10 bit set, and a $28-30 laser distance measurer, for $95 and change.

If I hadn’t already sent a friend a Dewalt DCD777 20V Max brushless cordless drill kit as a housewarming kit, I’d buy this for them without hesitation. This seems like a great bundle for new homeowners, at a good price.

The Bosch DDB181 drill is a basic model, but it’s not just inexpensive, it’s also very compact and lightweight, without being too puny.

The deal ends at 3am ET 7/12/2017, unless supplies sell out sooner.

I picked up a handful of the laser measure-ers (?) on clearance at HD, and love it. Wish I picked one up a while ago. It’s as simple as an electronic device can get.

Prime Day has been pretty disappointing so far. I have seen a few good deals but mostly it’s just junk.

Yep, great set of tools for a homeowner or DIYer. Pro-quality drill, with charger and TWO batteries, a decent size bit set in a case, and a laser measure.

I would hop on something like this if I didn’t already have so many of the Bosch 12V Max tools. I’ll wait until those aren’t cutting it anymore and newer brushless stuff comes out for around this price, but this is where it’s at if you want/need a drill right now.
