Bosch OIS Carbide Oscillating Tool Cutting Blade

Bosch recently came out with a new carbide tipped oscillating multi-tool metal-cutting blade (OSC114C) that they say lasts up to 30X longer than their conventional bi-metal blades.

Although specified as a metal-cutting blade, the new OSC114C can also be used to cut wood, fiber board, cement board, plaster and lathe, ceramic tile, and other types of tough construction materials.

The carbide tip is welded to a high-carbon steel body using a proprietary process for an “unbeatable combination” of speed, precision, and durability.

Additional Features

Blade length: 1-1/4″
Interface: 1.25mm (vs. 1mm for conventional blades) for greater vibration reduction

Bosch’s OIS oscillating multi-tool interface is compatible with all of their oscillating tools, as well as other professional brands’ tools.

This is a fantastic idea. I have greatly desired an actual, real metal cutting blade for notching metal. As soon as amazon gets some in stock I will get some, although I hate the high price tag.

Thank you! I’ve been looking for a better metal blade for some time. I’ll check these out immediately.

you can use the grout removal blades for oscillating tools they work well enough and don’t instantly wear out like most blade on hardie, just find a 1/16th blade
