Bosch 180 18V Drill Driver kit

Today’s Amazon Deal of the Day is a Bosch 18V drill and impact driver kit for $165 shipped. The drill/driver isn’t Bosch’s latest and greatest, but at this price we can overlook that, and the impact driver is top-notch. The bundle comes with two 1.3Ah batteries, charger, and soft carry case.

Deal is valid 12/20 unless supplies run out sooner. While the drill in Bosch’s other 18V kit is better, the question is whether it’s worth the extra $30.

Thanks to GJ member stickshift and to Harold for the heads-up!

The other kit you link to also has slightly better batteries (1.5Ah vs 1.3Ah). Gets closer to justifying the $30 difference.

That’s true too. In my opinion, the upgrade “181” drill by itself justifies the extra cost, but for those on a budget the “180” kit should still suffice. 1.3Ah vs 1.5Ah capacity is a very slight difference, but it looks like the battery chemistry might have been upgraded as well.

Down to $143 for the 180 kit.
