It looks like Amazon has an exclusive Bosch cordless power tool combo kit on sale for the 2023 Black Friday and holiday shopping season.
This Bosch 12V Max kit comes with a 5-in-1 brushless Flexiclick drill/driver, and a Starlock-compatible oscillating multi-tool.
In addition to the two tools, the combo kit comes with 2x 2Ah batteries, a charger, and tool bag.

The Bosch Flexiclick is a modular drill/driver with built-in 1/4″ hex chuck and 4 attachment heads. It comes with a right angle head, offset head, drill chuck, and quick release head. The right angle attachment can be used with any of the others.
While the oscillating multi-tool is compatible with Starlock accessories, it doesn’t have a tool-free interface; accessories are locked down with a hex key. That’s not the end of the world, and the tool has other things going for it, such as a brushless motor and speed control dial.
This seems like a great deal if you want and can use both tools. If not, we’ll keep an eye out for any deals on the brushless Flexiclick tool kit by itself.

The best-ever deal I’ve seen on the Bosch brushless Flexiclick kit was when Amazon had it for $99 during their Prime Day sale a month ago.
At the time of this posting, Amazon has the same Flexiclick kit priced at a shockingly unrealistic $229. The oscillating multi-tool is $79 at the time of this posting.

Even if we take into account the best-ever pricing on the Flexiclick drill/driver kit and current pricing of the OMT, $149 for both looks to be very good.
Amazon also has another bundle that features Bosch’s 18V Flexiclick drill/driver kit and previous model of Starlock oscillating multi-tool.
The kit comes with both tools, 3 drilling and driving head attachments (drill chuck, right angle drill, offset screwdriver), the Starlock OMT, a 2Ah battery, compact 4Ah battery, charger, and tool bag.

I ended up choosing a M12 installation driver instead of the flexi-click, partially because the form of the Milwaukee was intriguing, partially because I wanted 12V and I ditched my Bosch 12V tools awhile ago because I wasn’t too happy with the power output.
I can vouch for the Bosch 18V OMT though. I love that thing and probably use it more than any other tool outside of drill/impact. The Starlock accessories can be a bit pricey but the tool free blade changes and the variable speed make this thing a pleasure to use. Not too much vibration (definitely less than the Milwaukee, although I haven’t used the newest generation) but I don’t have a Fein tool to compare to.
I’m super happy with my Bosch 18V tools (although I have had 1 battery go south prematurely) even as I’ve bought into M18 because of a bunch of plumbing specific trade tools.

If I were buying today I’d be inclined to try one of the Bosch OMTs. I have an older Milwaukee 2626-20 and I’m not happy about either vibration or how well it retains blades while cutting. It’s better than my ancient Fein corded Mutimaster 636 that held blades in place with a socket screw – but it’s still annoying. The Fein was much better on vibration. Maybe the newer Milwaukee version does better but it doesn’t use Starlock blades – a system that seems like it would be better.
As an aside – it seems to me too bad that Fein decided to go with their own battery platform for their cordless lineup. Cutting a deal with Bosch or Metabo (CAS) would have (IMO) made Fein more attractive. Mafell – (albeit with fewer cordless tools than Fein) – went with the Metabo battery platform – which seems like a smart move.

Yeah the quick release for switching up blades, which happens either when I burn one up or because I’m switching materials, is awesome and a blade has never ever come off during operation.
Obviously the thing still vibrates bit, but nothing crazy, and given that I will sometimes use it for basically all day, I never get the numb feeling that I may experience with a sander for example.
In fact if I were to change one thing it would be a slightly smaller more ergonomic grip (I have size 8-9 hands) but I never feel as if the vibration is making the grip worse.

Fein cordless tools now use AmpShare batteries, which is the Bosch profile.

I keep eying the Flexiclick, but shy away because I fear it’s one of those tools that turns out to be gimmicky and is never used besides a driver (and I already have 3 12v Bosch drivers). Do people actually use the other attachments?

The ones we bought were for the folks we called “installers”. We had a custom cabinet shop that did kitchen and bathroom cabinets along with custom cabinets for semi-built-in applications. We tried one out – and soon the installers all wanted a set. In the GC/remodeling business – we passed a set around to try out and there was no groundswell of support (from our carpenters) for buying any more. In the plumbing business there was no interest at all. So, go figure.

I use it around the house all the time. Nice and compact. All advanced homeowner tasks though, not at the commercial level. The ability to leave a drill bit in one attachment and a driver bit in another, makes it easy to switch drilling holes and driving screws. I’ve even stacked some of attachments, using the right angle, to offset, to driver bit holder, to get up under a sink to fix a vanity to a wall.
I have the FC140 versions (brushed motor) and the oscillating tool I bought a couple of years ago. My FC140 motor just went bad, so sending it back with 4 months left on the warranty. Not sure how long it will take, or if the fix will be covered, so I think I’m going to grab this deal to minimize down town with my old driver in for service and sell the oscillating tool once I get it.
Only wish Bosch had a few more tools like Milwaukee does in this form factor/battery style with the M12 Fuel line. I would love a 3/8 ratchet & die grinder using these batteries.

I bought the original brushed Flexiclick on sale a long while back for quite a bit less than the current sale. It works well enough that I don’t see a point to buying the brushless version even at $99. Been great in confined spaces.
My only gripe is the lack of anything new from Bosch on this side of the Atlantic for a long while. Been holding out but might have to go Milwaukee going forward when the Bosch batteries start to age out. Everything they’ve put on sale I already have from previous years.

The Bosch 12v is one of my favorite line and the flexi click is no exception.
Very solid tools and they fit my hand like a glove.
I have two brushed flexi click and am holding out for a bare tool of the brushless version.
If I would not already have those I would buy this in a heart beat.

I have the older brushed version.
I use mine with the offset adapter a lot. One of its best features is a really nice mechanical clutch, which I can turn to the lowest settings, and use it for delicate screw driving.

I use mine all the time. It’s my go-to drill, and I have probably a dozen drills over 5 different battery platforms. When I bought the brushless version as an upgrade, I figured I’d sell my brushed version. But I ended up keeping one for shop use in the basement and the other for upstairs general DIY projects.
The offset adapter is perfect for drilling or driving right up against an adjoining wall or surface. And unlike the M12 version, the Bosch offset adapter design has a locking collar to retain the bit.
The right angle adapter comes in handy too. I had to drill bew shelf pin holes in an 8″ wide kitchen cabinet. With a normal drill 90° adapter, you need one hand to operate the drill, and another to steady the adapter. With the Flexiclick, you just need one hand. Which was important for that application, since I couldn’t fit both arms all the way to the back of the cabinet.

Lowe’s had those 12v chameleons in the soft for case with two batteries for $47 I went to all the different stores in my town and I want up getting about six or seven of them and then the price went back up to $149 but as far as I can tell lewis is dropping the 12 V line of Bosch
