Hot Deal: Bosch 10″ Portable Table Saw for $299

Bosch GTS1031 Ultra Portable Table Saw
Bosch’s GTS1031 table saws, which we reviewed a while back, is one of the best portable table saws on the market. It’s powerful, easy to adjust, and its compact design transports and stores away more easily than competing models.

The last time we caught the saw on sale for a great price was over a year ago when it was temporarily at $320. Now, it’s on sale at Amazon for just $299.

When readers ask for general portable saw recommendations, this is our top pick. If you want a folding rolling stand or a larger table surface, then prepare to spend more. In the $250-$450 price range, the GTS1031 is our clear favorite.

We’re not sure if this is a temporary price drop, seasonal price drop, or random price fluctuation. The regular MSRP price for this saw is about $399.

Neither the saw or Bosch’s GTA500 folding saw stand ($79 via Amazon) are eligible for the $25 off $100+ instant promotional savings we discussed yesterday.

If you’re more of a Dewalt fan, the DW745 is also on sale for $299 (via Amazon), although you might want to look at their latest table saws instead.

The specs on Amazon show an 18 inch rip capacity.
If you need a wider rip cut than that, Amazon also has a DeWalt saw with a 20 inch rip capacity for $299 and another with a 24 1/2 inch rip capacity and the rack and pinion fence for $369. It appears that Black Friday may be a little early this year.

At one of my HD’s, it’s yellow stickered at $266… They have 4 of them….. Wondering if good for home use, I mean, the table is kind of small, but for my use; Dados, 3-4 ft. rips, I think it might be good….
Only supports up to 1/2″ dados though…

I just picked one up at my HD for the same price. Could be in the same area. If so, there is only 1 left if you were on the fence.
