Bosch has come out with a new 12V Max heated hoodie, just in time for the 2020-21 winter season.
The new Bosch heated hoodie, GAA12V-21, looks to be Bosch’s first new release in heated workwear in quite a few years.

At the time of this posting, it’s not quite clear what advancements Bosch has made in that time, but we hope to learn more.
Over at International Tool, they already have a front-page promo on the new Bosch heated hoodie, and also on what looks to be a new heated jacket.
It’s unclear as to whether that’s a new heated jacket, but it does look like it – Bosch’s previous/original heated jacket had silver high-visibility panels and this promo version does not. We’ll look into this.
Here are the promo details:
- Spend $200+ Get a FREE Bosch Hoodie
- Spend $500+ Get a FREE Bosch Heated Hoodie
- Spend $600+ Get a FREE Bosch Heated Jacket
In case it’s not obvious, you have to spend these amounts on Bosch tools.

So, about the new Bosch heated hoodie, here are some of Bosch’s official marketing claims:

- 3 heat levels
- Lightweight fabric
- 3 quick-warming core heat zones (2 chest zones, 1 lower back)
- Washer and dryer safe
- Fitted sleeves and waist
- Powered by Bosch 12V Max battery
- Included power adapter has USB charging port
Not much more information is available. At the time of this posting, Bosch’s website and retailers are showing that it will only be available in black.

It’s interesting that Bosch is looking to get back into the heated workwear market, one that Milwaukee Tool has dominated for a few years now.
What’s new? What has changed? Why buy Bosch over competing brands? Hopefully we’ll learn more. But in the meantime, definitely keep the International Tool promo in mind in case you were shopping for new Bosch tools.

Lower back heated zone you say? I’m interested.
I’ve got a Bosch heated jacket already, but I’d have to admit the Milwaukee ones are better than what I have. The only selling feature for the older style Bosch is that they look good.

This has been the one thing I’ve been saying for 5 years: whoever puts a heat zone in the lower back is going to become the king. Thankfully, I don’t even use M12 batteries in my current vest or coat, so buying a bare tool isn’t going to make me flinch much if I decide to buy one.

Would have to see in person but it looks like a slim euro fit.

I have both and I found the Milwaukee to be superior to the Bosch. Also I bought the Milwaukee jacket only because I found out my Bosch adapter works on the Milwaukee jacket which is great since I have a bunch of Bosch batteries and no 12 volt Milwaukee batteries

Would love a heated Bosch jacket, this is a great promo in that regard, and I have a few Bosch products on my wish list … just can’t bite.
