After 7-1/2″ years, Bosch is finally coming out with an updated heated jacket, model GHJ12V-20.
And yes, the new Bosch 12V Max heated jackets will be launching in the USA, with early shipping ETAs of mid-December.
The new Bosch heated jackets are also being discounted at the moment; Bosch’s $20 off $100+ seasonal promo looks to work on all sizes.
The new Bosch GHJ12V-20 heated jackets are said to feature an enhanced modern design
Bosch also says that their new 12V heated jackets feature:
- Lighter and more flexible materials
- Larger pockets
- Strategically-placed heating elements
This is in comparison to Bosch’s previous generation heated jacket, which launched in 2013.
There is no need to layer with this warm jacket, due to three powered heating zones and a rugged outer shell that’s wind and water resistant.
The heating zones are in the chest (2) and lower back (1).
At this time, it looks like the new Bosch heated jackets are launching in kit format.
Kits include a portable battery adapter (GAA12V-21 12V), which features a belt clip and 2.1A USB output for charging electronic devices, a compact charger, and single 2.0Ah battery.
An optional portable power adapter is available for use with Bosch 18V batteries, model GAA18V-24.
