Coptool Ohio Power Tool Bosch Rebate Promotion March 2011

Last fall we spoke a bit about Bosch’s new Systems Specialists Program, where select local retailer participants set up small showrooms decked out with the latest Bosch tools. A recent Coptool post reveals that there is now an exclusive in-store-only mail-in rebate going on right now offering $50 or $100 cashback on select 18V tools.

That sound great and all, but where’s the nearest Bosch specialist store? Taking a look at Bosch’s store directory, it looks like there aren’t any BSS locations anywhere near me, despite the several dozen new additions to the list. There are none in Pennsylvania, none in New Jersey, and the four in New York aren’t anywhere near me.

Although these rebates explicitly say “not valid for online purchases”, they don’t say anything about phoned-in orders. Technically, when you place an order over the phone, isn’t the sale actually processed in-store…

Ignoring for a moment that I’m not in the market for new 18V tools, I would definitely visit Ohio Power Tool to take advantage of the rebate if they weren’t more than $100 away in gas miles. If you’re lucky enough to be close by to them, check out the sale!

    Hello,

I would like to clarify that if you are interested in purchasing Bosch 18V tools, you can purchase at any store that carries Bosch 18V and redeem the mail-in rebate. Hope this helps!
