Amazon Prime Day 2020 continues for Day 2.
One of the better deals is a Bosch $50 off $200+ coupon promo, and some of you mentioned that you already took advantage of it. This deal is still happening right now, and it’s set to end later today when Prime Day 2 is over.

Depending on what you’re looking to buy, you can find some very good bargains out of this promo. There are over 3000 qualifying items – this is a rare Bosch coupon offer where there are far fewer exclusions than usual.
Bosch Tools Eligible for $50 off $200
The Bosch 12V Max cordless screwdriver kit, which we recently posted about, is still on sale for $69, and also eligible for the $50 off $200+ savings.
Bosch’s 12V cordless power tool kits and combo kits are typically price-fixed and illegible for added coupon offers, and so this is a rare occurrence where you get double discounts.
Bosch’s 12V Max reciprocating saw kit is on sale for $99 and also eligible for the $50 off $200+ coupon offer.

Maybe now’s a good time to upgrade to a Bosch brushless FlexiClick kit? It’s $179 after discount.
If you want an entry-level brushed motor impact driver kit, this one is $89 and also eligible for the Prime Day $50 off $200+ Bosch offer.
This recommended Bosch Starlock Oscillating Multi-Tool kit is slightly discounted to $184 and change. Add on a pack of Starlock cutting blades (link below) or other $16+ filler, to save big.
With a 3-pack of Starlock-compatible carbide-toothed blades, everything drops to ~$163 at checkout – not bad for a kit that’s regularly priced at $199 at all other sellers we checked. Adding bi-metal blades drops the price a little lower. You don’t have to buy OMT blades to bring the order over $200, these are just convenient examples.

I’ve been eyeing Bosch’s 5″ random orbit sander, for a younger cousin that has gotten into woodworking and furniture refinishing, and it too is included in this promo.
Bosch’s 1/4″ finish sander is also eligible for the promo, although you have to be crafty in changing the seller to Amazon, as their direct listing is hidden due to it being sold out and backordered at the moment. The current shipping estimate is 10/29/2020.
Hmm, maybe the two sanders plus a cordless screwdriver or drill kit would make for a good starter kit. Although, Dewalt’s cordless screwdriver would be better for smaller hands.
There are a whole lot more Bosch tools and accessories eligible for this deal. I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out.
Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) [October, 14, 2020]

That’s where most of my prime day tool budget went. I grabbed the 12v router, an extra collet, the 21 piece cobalt drill bit set and some countersinks.

Lots of 12V stuff I’d pull the trigger on if it were $25 off $100, can’t really commit to $200 this close to BF
Frank D
I don’t think there’s much difference in Bosch deals for BF. This is a repeated discount level, and there’s a few hundred items additional items that qualify.

I got that Bosch ROS a few months ago, and it works great.
Fine Woodworking did a comparo a while back and said that particular sander had superior dust collection without an attached vacuum. That’s why I got it. (If you do use a vacuum, I think the Festool did better. No surprise there.)

The FL12 12V work light is down to $29.99. I don’t remember seeing this mentioned anywhere. I have one of these and use it all the time.

I don’t know if this is part of Prime Day or if it qualifies for the $50 off $200 (it doesn’t mention it on the page) but this is a good price.
Brian Puccio
I was $20 short of the $200 for things I had on my wish list and I’m in their 12v ecosystem so this out me over the top. Thanks!

Thank you for the link. I was thinking about this light for some time but price wise wasn’t justified, for $30 I can finally get it and add to my flashlight collection ))
MoogleMan3
It’s a great light. I love mine. I just ordered another. I couldn’t resist the $30 price.

Ignored this the first time through – I mean, who needs another flashlight?
Then I read schill’s post (above) and since it was 50% off, I thought I’d give it a shot and ordered one.
Then I read all the rave reviews for this light and ended up ordering a second one. Good thing the day is almost over…

Got the 12v Recip saw which was on sale for $99 ($30 off) and the 12v Jigsaw also on sale for $99 ($20 off) + a set of countersink drill bits to bring the total over $200 for the additional $50 off.
So, a total of $100 off – not a bad day’s work.
928'er
And another $60 off on two FL12 work lights.
I’m done.

So, I “saved” $160 on tools I, probably, would not have, otherwise, bought.
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
Consumerism at it’s finest…

They’re great compact tools, that have allowed me to be efficient and effective in confined spaces to do modifications, repairs, upgrades, … where none of my corded tools or 18v one would have fit size wise or are too brute force for delicate precision tasks.
I’m building out my 12v set to be my primary, always with me set.18v and corded stays at home unless there is serious demo and construction.
