What Happened to SPG International, Tool Box Maker for Craftsman, Husky, and Other Brands?

SPG International, which made tool boxes for their own brand as well as Craftsman, Husky, and others, closed their doors a year ago. Why?

International has come out with new SHD tool chests, which we first discovered under (Sears) Craftsman branding.
