Craftsman has slashed the price of their 30 drawer parts organizer as part of the Amazon Prime Day sale that’s happening today and tomorrow, October 7-8, 2025.
Lowe’s has the same cabinet for $27 right now, which makes Amazon’s price of $18 highly appealing. This looks like a great bargain on a well-regarded stackable parts drawer cabinet.
The Craftsman parts cabinet can be used on a benchtop or other horizontal surface, and there are also keyhole slots on the back for wall-mounting.

Let’s face it, while the top is designed that way so you can easily stack multiple parts cabinets together, you’re going to fill it with parts – temporarily or otherwise – and are going to be happy that the lipped edges are there to help precent screws from rolling off and away.
Sale Price: $18
Not quite the size or style you’re looking for? Amazon also has a bunch of Akro-Mils parts cabinets on sale too.

While we’re talking about Craftsman, there’s another Amazon deal where they have this V20 cordless hand vacuum – with battery and charger included – for just $59.
Yep, that’s $59 with everything you need to get started. This looks like a good buy to help you spot-clean your home or workshop.
Amazon’s 2-day Prime Day sales event – “October Big Deal Days” – ends on 10/8/25.

IDK if it’s raising costs, tariffs, or just a better deal, but I purchased that exact same Craftsman organizer for $16 in July of this year.

Promo prices fluctuate. Some items I bought during past Prime days are less expensive today. It’s the nature of these deals.
Barring use of a time machine, the prices I’m seeing are $18 with this deal, $27 at Lowe’s, or $30 (Acme).
Sometimes it’s worth checking back, as pricing can change even during the 2 days of a Prime Day sales event. That’s why I stopped including pricing in a lot of deal lists for Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, because the prices of some items might fluctuate many times throughout the course of a day, usually by small amounts.

Ugh, those are pricing algorithms updating the price based on “sales velocity” to try to optimize their return while still clearing out the expected inventory and yet maintaining a sufficiently competitive position relative to the competition. Mathematically, it’s a fun optimization problem (I used to do some of it). As a consumer, it kinda sucks, because now whatever price I pay will absolutely NOT be the “best” price I could have paid.
Expect to see a lot more of this; some airlines (*cough* Delta) have openly said they want to use the same technique to maximize the money you spend on tickets. Your price, and someone else’s’ price, will not be connected except very tangentially.
Stuart
Sometimes price changes are driven by algorithms, but there are also sales and ecommerce managers that determine these things.
I’m regularly provided with promo price lists – though disappointingly not for Prime Day (not that they’ve been super helpful in the past – where the sales pricing has been negotiated and fixed. But it can be dynamic, such as if there’s low interest or competitive actions.

Yeah
They’ve put back up to 27 dollars today the 8th
Won’t be buying unless it goes back down to 18 sometime today
Thanks for your work

If you need something sooner, Akro-Mils is excellent as well, and those deals are still ongoing.
These Prime Deals are unpredictable. I figured there was a 50% chance it would last days, and 50% chance it’ll be extended longer. Being a one-day deal didn’t cross my mind as a possibility, although that’s sometimes the case with the bigger discounts on power tools.

On 10/8/25 I went to Amazon using your link to buy the 30 bin Craftsman storage item. It was NOT on prime day or any other sale and was $27 not $18.
Stuart
It was discounted yesterday (Prime Day 1). Looks like Amazon or Craftsman pulled the plug on the deal. They did the same with a bunch of other Craftsman and Dewalt tools.
I’ll keep an eye on it. There’s no way to predict if or when they’ll discount it again. Similar products by Iris and Akro-Mils are also on sale for Prime Day (and still actively on sale), but they’re more expensive.
