Craftsman Wire Stripper for $7.50 and Other Western Forge Tool Sale

Craftsman Professional Wire Strippers

Out of all my wire strippers and electrical tools, these Stride-made Craftsmans are my favorites. Klein’s Kurve strippers are quite good too, with newer models sporting a few subtle improvements.

Harry Epstein Co. is selling the 10-20 gauge version for a paltry $7.50. I paid maybe $15 for mine, and Sears is currently selling it for about $14.50 (Craftsman 73573). In other words, $7.50 is a heck of a good price.

Epstein’s sales crew also snagged a bunch of other Western-Forge-made Craftsman tools as part of a liquidation package and are reselling them at a nice discount. They even have a few wide-jaw Craftsman Professional wrenches that I have been itching to try out.

These tools are technically closeouts, so once they’re gone, they might be gone for good.

NOTE: Don’t browse Harry Epstein’s site if you have a tight budget or are short on time! They’re a goldmine of hand tool deals, and it’s tough to checkout with just one or two items. You have been warned.

If you place an order, don’t forget to request some free box art – they can usually oblige.

I’ve been trying to keep myself from putting in an order there, cause when I finally do, it won’t be small, or light on the wallet.

I wonder if this is part of Sears’ move to sell tools only made in Asia?

Gotta love Epsteins tools and pricing. I found a few Western Forge items that were too good to pass up. I requested my first box art….a line from Laugh In…You bet you’re sweet bippy. My wife didn’t know what to think when UPS dropped the box off.

Picked up two pairs of those, some of the right angle screw drivers and a 1/4″ Armstrong aerospace ratchet.
