Dewalt 10-inch Miter Saw Cyber Wednesday 2018 Deal

A reader sent in a tip that Home Depot is running several “Cyber Wednesday 2018” deals on Dewalt cordless power tools. (Thank you BJ for the heads-up!!)

What’s the Deal? There are 9 Dewalt power tool and 20V Max cordless power tool “special buys” at pricing that is much lower than usual.

Notable Deals:

Dewalt DW713 10″ compound miter saw, plus a bonus blade pack: $159 || Compare at Amazon
Dewalt DCS570B 7-1/4″ 20V Max BRUSHLESS circular saw bundle, with 3.0Ah compact battery and charger: $149 || Compare at Amazon

Dewalt 20V Max Brushless Circular Saw Bundle Deal

The DW713 typically sells for $212 to $220, and it’s been at that price for a while. It’s a fairly basic single compound miter saw, but a very good one. The DCS570B brushless circular saw is usually $169 by itself.

When does it End? 3am ET 11/29/2018, unless supplies sell out sooner.

Note to Newsletter subscribers: As some of you requested, we “pushed” this email out early (so you could receive it this afternoon instead of the usual 11am ET time tomorrow. Does this work for you, for one-day deals posted after the morning email cut-off? It’s the only way I could think of to get the deal info in front of you before it expires, as some of you requested. I’m also open to other ideas.

Here’s the deal page once again:

Note to Everyone: I’m trying something new with this deal post. I didn’t have time (or energy, I’m a little exhausted) to give the deal post the usual in-depth treatment, and so I tried to think of a neutral format that conveyed the necessary information in as concise a format as possible. Hopefully it’s a good balance between detailed discussion and not being able to post about a deal.

I like the push update, it gives me more time in general to decide if I want to take advantage of the deal!

I do prefer the more in depth info on the deals you usually give us.. For instance this saw looks good but how does it compare to the Milwaukee Brushless 18v 7 1/4 saw.

Sorry Stuart…. I didn’t see the “I’m Exhausted” part at the end of your post.

With the miter saw, that’s a really tough apples vs oranges comparison. It’s hard to talk about a 10″ corded saw with a 7-1/4″ cordless saw in any similar context. Generally, the two wouldn’t be compared together because they serve different needs.

I like thorough discussions and analyses too, but sometimes I just can’t, whether because of time or interest, and so I end up not sharing it at all.

In this case, I couldn’t go into details because I was sick. Am sick. Being exhausted likely weakened me, but I’m feeling better.

    I’ll second the good-deal updates!

I have been looking at the Dewalt 1/2″ impact when it was $299 in store. Definitely picked it up now at $160 shipped to my door. Thanks!

Stuart: Bought it. Thanks for posting this quickly. Great deal.

I’ve been wanting the DW713 for awhile so I’ve done my own research. It’ll suit my DIY shop quite nicely.

This is a great idea! Though it’s important to get reviews, there are many tools that people have on their lists, and being able to get them for a good or great price can be more important to those folks.

We’re all human and have our limits. With two small children, it’s easy to get exhausted during the holidays!

I like the push update. Miss out on some deals as one cannot pick up emails as timely as others and the deals are done ‘time u get to um’.

Very useful post, thanks. But more importantly, thank you for spending so much time and effort putting together all the Black Friday, etc. deals posts. They were comprehensive and saved me a lot of money!

      You’re welcome!

I relied on deals and sales to build up the bulk of my tool collection, and know that it can make the difference between getting an okay tool and one that lasts years or longer.

Yep. It was either GuydBot, ToolBot, or BotGuyd, and then DealGuyd made sense, at least for the more “robotically-written” deal posts that face the choice between a quick post or nothing at all.
