Daily Deal: CRKT Tiny Tighe Breaker Knife

CRKT’s Tiny Tighe Breaker knives are heavily discounted over at Amazon. Two versions are on sale, one is not. The blue handled plain-edged folder is priced at $20 plus a few bucks for shipping, and the black handled partially serrated blade is $27. If you want the black handled plain-edged version, prepare to pay twice as much.

These knives are for the most part very well recommended. One common complaint of reviewers was that these open-assist knives can open accidentally every now and then. This is enough of a reason for me to skip the deal, but there were a few reviewers who couldn’t replicate the problem. In any case, if you plan on buying and carrying this knife around, I’d suggest you invest in a simple holster or pouch for it.

For reference, these knives are under 3.875″ in length and have 2.875″ Aus 8 steel blades.
