Thought I would see a comparison, but really, it looks like an advertisement for some new 18v (er 20V, yeah, that’s it) Dewalt. Where’s Bosch, Milwaukee, Makita, Metabo, maybe Rigid. Not to mention the homeowner level Porter Cable on down… to Black and Decker, Skill, etc.

With the 20V Max line launching this month, I’ve received tons, TONS of emails asking what the differences are between Dewalt’s new models. This consolidates much of the information that took too many words to describe.
Currently a compilation of Bosch’s new kits is in the works, and after that a comprehensive multi-brand compilation/comparison including Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Porter Cable, Hitachi, and Kobalt, maybe others as well.
Dewalt is the only brand represented here for two reasons – their drills are what people were emailing in about, and because I wasn’t sure additional comparisons would be well received or even needed.

The real question is if everyone else will jump aboard the 20v marketing like they all did with 12v….

Just returned my 20v DeWalt 2pc combo kit at Home Depot after seeing the white 18v lithium Makita drill smoke the hell out of the DeWalt. The DeWalt was struggling to put a lag screw in treated lumber, while the Makita put it down effortlessly. The color will take some time to get used to.
Ed. Note: Danilo and both Everardo and Manimal who left comments in this post are the same person. Multiple comments from the same person under different names usually indicates a secret agenda and the intent to deceive an audience.
