A couple of days ago, I posted about Metabo HPT’s excellent 18V subcompact cordless drill and impact driver deals. They’re an almost unbeatable value at $79.
Well, Dewalt wants in on the action too.

Over at Amazon, via CPO Tools as the seller, they have the Dewalt 20V Max DCD777C2 brushless cordless drill kit for $92.99, plus if you “clip the coupon” you save an extra 15% at checkout.
So, this Dewalt kit comes out to be $79.04 at checkout, plus tax.
I have NEVER seen any Dewalt 20V Max cordless drill kit priced this low, let alone a brushless model.
You should be aware that this is their value-priced special buy drill, but it also has excellent ratings. At the time of this posting, there are more than 4,200 user reviews and ratings, with 87% 5-star and 9% 4-star ratings.
The kit comes with the drill/driver, charger, kit bag, and 2x compact batteries (1.5Ah or 1.3Ah).
This is normally a $99 special buy and seasonal promo, and with this current bonus promo, it’s $79.04 at checkout.

Yes, there are more powerful and better featured cordless drill kits out there, but for the money? I’ve purchased this kit before to give as a gift, and would do it again, it’s a good tool at a great value.
Sale Price: $79.04
Update 9:30pm 6/15/21: It looks like they sold out at this price.

1.3amp hour batteries based on same model number at Lowes which has that info. A good deal if your a homeowner and want to start out. The batteries also based on reviews may or may not have a fuel gauge on them something to keep in mind. I would go to Lowes if it was close and have them price match amazon to get the 90 day return policy instead of 30 days at amazon as well.

I’ve seen some reports of 1.5Ah batteries, but maybe it is 1.3Ah? It’s hard to know for sure. Either way, you get two batteries that should suffice for DIY/homeowner/casual/light use.
The deal is via CPO Tools on Amazon, not Amazon directly, and so most stores won’t price match. Target, for example, won’t price-match 3rd party Amazon sellers, on Amazon directly, and I’d assume the same is true for other retailers.

This is actually a pretty good drill.

Where do I find or how do I get the mentioned “clip the coupon” for 15% off?
Stuart
Sorry, it looks like they sold out.
Usually there will be a “clip this coupon” box under the price where you click it with a tap or mouse to activate it.

Have used one of these and it is a great drill! I would miss having the light on it, but otherwise no complaints.

Shows $94 for me and no coupon as far as I can see and the seller is MaxTools now.

I have one that I bought from Sears back in 2018 for somewhere around $70 and I believe my set has 1.5 amp batteries. It’s a decent deal especially to get a foothold into the Dewalt 20v platform. For DIY stuff and light work in the shop it is fine, but for heavier jobs, it’ll stall out where brushed motors on my older Craftsman 19.2 wont.
