Two new “master power tool accessory sets” recently hit the market – a Dewalt 111pc accessory set (DWALWMSTSET), and a Craftsman 96pc accessory set (CMA123AMQ4).
Both sets offer a selection of drilling, driving, and cutting accessories.

Over at Lowe’s, they have this Dewalt power tool accessory set as a deal of the day (9/23/2021), priced at $49.98. They say the regular price is $69.98.
This set comes with:
- 100pc impact-rated drill and screwdriver bit set
- 7-1/4″ 24T circular saw blade
- 10pc reciprocating saw blade set
At the time of this posting, a similar Dewalt 100pc impact bit set is priced at $45 via Lowe’s, the saw blade retails for ~$10 via Amazon, and a 10-pack of Dewalt reciprocating saw blade sells for $15 at Amazon.
This seems like a good buy – if you can use all of the included accessories.
What do you think – is this a good resupply assortment, or is it more of a starter kit for users to buy with their first cordless power tool combo kits?
Sale Price: $50

There is also a new Craftsman 96pc “master set” of accessories.
It comes with:
- 33pc impact-rated screwdriver bit set
- 53pc drill and screwdriver bit set
- 6-1/2″ 18T circular saw blade
- 9pc reciprocating saw blade set
Adding up the cost of the included components, the 33pc bit set is $30 at Amazon, although this seems way too much for what you get, the 53pc bit set is $20 at Amazon, the reciprocating saw blade set is $15 at Amazon, and the saw blade is $10 at Lowe’s.
Price: $54.99
At the time of this posting, the Craftsman set has 22 “Amazon Vine free product” user reviews. Maybe we’ll see better pricing for the holiday season.
Both accessory sets seem well suited for users who want a bunch of power tool accessories without the hassle of putting together their own kit.
I wonder if this will be a trend for the 2021 holiday shopping season.

I’ve got the DeWalt 111 piece kit and it’s really nice. I also bought the Craftsman version and it wasn’t worth the twenty bucks on sale, everything including the case was cheaper, but it has the older style bits

Be cool if they made a compatible toughcase that can actually hold circ blades or 9″ recip blades. Got a medium case split down the middle, 6″ Diablo’s on the right, and split the left for a compartment each of wood and metal jigsaw blades. Still got that Diablo case coming next to all my modular stuff in toughcase lol

I already built the Dewalt master set in the big ToughCase, it has all my most used kinds of bits in one. Check it out on the ToolGuyd Facebook post for this article.

Seems like a good starter set.

In regards to the DeWalt bundle contents:
“111pc impact-rated drill and screwdriver bit set”
Not quite, the entire bundle is 111pcs (100pc bit set, 10 recip blades, 1 circ saw blade). The bit set is the same 100pc bit set you have linked, though the colors are different it is the same model.

Thanks! Sorry, *fixed*.
With the 100pc sets, you’re right, it looks like the only difference is in the bit rail colors. The bits *shouldn’t* be different, but sometimes that’s not the case.
