We received a tip that Acme Tools’ epic savings event on Dewalt tools – which is ending today – also includes the Dewalt FlexVolt 60V Max cordless 12″ sliding miter saw, DCS781B.
Right now, this deal (coupon JUMPYELLOW) gives you $100 off the price of the bare tool, and you also still get a FREE FlexVolt 9Am battery. Add in coupon code FREE30, and you also get a free $30 gift card.
I checked, and the current $699 price is the same as when the Dewalt miter saw launched around this time last year.

You’ll need to source your own Dewalt 20V Max charger for this deal. As a reminder, Dewalt FlexVolt batteries are compatible with the brand’s 20V Max and 60V Max cordless power tools.
The kit is also eligible for the same $100 off coupon, giving you the saw, a 9Ah battery, and charger for $749. With the deal discussed above, you get the same saw and battery, and just not the charger, for $599. Is a charger worth $250 to you?
If you were inclined to spend that much, consider the Dewalt ToughSystem charger and tool box, which you could buy and still come out ahead compared to the discounted price of the kit.
That’s what makes Acme Tools’ extended Dewalt coupon offer so good – it stacks on top of free battery and tool offers.
The JUMPYELLOW coupon offer was extended and is expected to end today, 11/10/23. Acme’s recent Milwaukee offer was extended to 2 days, and it seems fair to expect the same for this Dewalt discount offer.

Doesn’t DeWalt have an ac adapter that just works for a miter saw? Does this work with that adapter and if not does that miter saw cost compare to this one?
Nathan
Just looked, apparently they are no longer making it? It’s out of stock everywhere except one or two places where the cost is way over MSRP. It’s really disappointing that tool companies emphasize the sale of their batteries to the point they do not want to offer a dc adapter.
Big Richard
The adapter doesn’t work with this single battery 60v model, it only worked with the 2x60v (120v) DHS790 and DHS716.
Jim Felt
Maybe just maybe they really don’t sell enough to warrant the bother? Or they’re just not going to bother cutting into their battery sales?
Better yet someone on here actually knows?
Al
There are a couple youtube videos of the motors going out and some suspect it was linked to the AC adapter.
Stuart
That was the dual battery 120V Max 12″ sliding miter saw (DHS790) which is very hard to find these days, and the long-discontinued 12″ non-slider (DHS716AB).
MM
And the funny thing is that this new saw is both more powerful and more efficient in terms of # of cuts per charge compared to the dual-battery, despite using only a single battery. The regenerative braking tech this saw has is impressive.
Tim+E.
It only works with the 2-battery (120V) flexvolt saw, I have that one from many years ago (non slider unfortunately), and it’s a good saw. The AC adapter is basically a cord on a piece of plastic that is shaped like the two battery slots, so definitely only works with dual-battery tools, which so far I think is just that miter saw.
Eric
There was a problem with that adapter. It would end up killing the motor. Dewalt took it off the market, but has done a really poor job of notifying owners that there is a problem. So a lot of owners don’t find out until the saw dies, and they get hit with the bill to replace the motor.
Joren
Thank you for letting me know this! First I’ve heard of it and I’ve had the 2 battery version forever!
Chris I
No way. Def not anymore. It was causing all kinds of issues. [Hey even came out and said “if you bought that adaptor, DON’T use it!”

Any good deals on a 10″ or smaller cordless miter saw?
Stuart
The same coupon offer applies to other Dewalt miter saw models, including the 20V Max 7-1/4″.
Amazon has some promos on Bosch cordless miter saws: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Bosch+miter+saw&i=todays-deals&tag=toolguyd-20
There usually aren’t a lot of cordless miter saw deals, at least nowhere as near as many as corded miter saw deals. I’m working on the miter saw roundup.
Larry H
I’m also looking for a 10” or smaller cordless miter saw. Good to hear Stuart is working on a roundup. Acme currently has deals on Bosch Profactor 18V Surgeon miter saws. Both the 7 1/4” and 10” kits come with a free orbital sander. “Purchase a select Bosch 18V Miter Saw Kit and get a Bosch GEX18V-5NF 18V Random Orbit Sander Bare Tool FREE!”. Tempting except it means buying into another battery platform. I’m invested in Dewalt 20V but sense a higher quality in the Bosch and Makita saws. Folks here have had lots of good comments on the cordless sander that is included in the deal.
MM
I can’t offer a comparison with Bosch or Makita but I have the Dewalt 20V 7-1/4″ miter saw and I am very happy with it. I bought it for one job and did not have much in the way of expectations. Now I love the thing and I use it often. It is a great saw and I would not hesitate to buy it again if mine disappeared. Power is good, precision is excellent, battery life is good, it’s extremely easy to use, has a shadow light…even the factory blade is surprisingly good. I’ve honestly considered buying a second one so I can keep a nonferrous blade in one and a wood blade in the other.
