Home Depot’s Deals of the Day hasn’t been featuring any tool deals, and so I didn’t check it first thing this morning. Whoops.

Update: Sorry, I didn’t look close enough at the Home Depot deal. The FlexVolt sliding miter saw kit that’s on sale does not come with the AC adapter. I changed the lead-in image accordingly, since the one I had showed the saw with batteries, a charger, and AC adapter.

Are these FlexVolt models the same as the ones you’ve rated as some of the best cordless options? I can’t tell if these are the same or a different model.
Stuart
The sliding saw is, model DHS790A.
I had not tested the non-slider version yet.

The bare tool sliding miter saw is included in 25 off 100 . I put in my cart to check and it went down to $374 which is a steal.
Stuart
Thanks! I didn’t realize that. Added mention of this in the post.

Since this is a Dewalt post does anyone know when DCST995T1
40V MAX* XR® 17 in. Cordless String Trimmer (9.0Ah) will be available for sale?

The sliding miter saw for $499 looks to be the DHS790T2 model which is price matched on Amazon with the $25 off special https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01HBXHI4Y/ref=psdcmw_552940_t3_B01HBXHI44
The link you have is to the DHS790AT2 model. The only difference I see between them is that the at2 model comes with the power cord included, rather than having to buy it for an additional $50.
Would love to hear if there are other differences
Stuart
Thanks! You’re right. I updated the “compare” link.

don’t know if it’s been mentioned here but amazon has 9.0 amp flexvolt batteries 2 for $199
