This Dewalt 20V Max brushless XR series cordless impact wrench combo kit looks to be a fantastic Black Friday 2025 deal.
I was a bit worried about the types of tool deals we’d see this year, given recent price increases and sourcing changes, and I have definitely seen some disappointing promos. Luckily, hot bargains like this one help to make up for that.
Here’s what you get with this Dewalt cordless impact wrench kit, model DCK205P1:

- 3/8″ impact wrench
- 1/2″ impact wrench
- 5Ah battery
- Fast charger
Both impact wrenches are part of the Dewalt’s premium XR brushless tool line. The DCF890 is a compact 3/8″ impact wrench, and the DCF894 is a mid-range 1/2″ impact wrench.
$299 seems to be an excellent price for two Dewalt brushless impact wrenches, a battery, and charger.
Looking at my records, the DCF894 launched in 2017 for $219, but I couldn’t find anything for the DCF890.
Home Depot is matching Amazon’s price on the same impact tool combo kit, but are showing it as an online-only Black Friday deal that is unavailable and presumably sold out. Acme has it for $429 right now.
Looking back at prior sales, I last reported a price of $339 for October Prime Day in 2023, and $279 as a limited quantity Black Friday deal in 2020.
One of the impact wrenches is an older model, and the other looks to be specially made for this combo kit. That’s the only thing I don’t love about this combo kit deal bundle. Even so, I searched around and couldn’t find a better Dewalt 20V Max brushless impact wrench deal for anywhere close to the same price.

Here are some more Dewalt tool deals:

Home Depot has an online-only deal where you buy a Dewalt 20V max starter kit, with 5Ah battery, tabless 4Ah battery, and charger for $299, and can pick from a limited selection of brushless power tools.

This Lowe’s deal for $449 is a great value. Here, you buy the starter kit, which comes with 2x PowerPack 8Ah batteries and a fast charger, and choose 3 FREE tools. The only downside is that I only see a single impact wrench option in the gift selection, a compact 3/8″ model.

Dcf890 looks to be another impact driver with a anvil turned impact wrench. Looks newer probably plenty for 3/8. Doesn’t look as compact as a 921. Still a good deal
Shame they don’t read here. I want the ratchets on sale specifically the 3/8 20v. Or a extreme 12v kit since I have no 12v batteries. Yes I’m being picky

It is and it’s an older model. It is essentially the DCF886 (single speed precursor to the DCF887) with a 3/8″ anvil. I got one of these back in 2017? I’ve since sold it so I can’t look at the date on the tool. It’s not an awful tool, but compared to the DCF923 it is larger, less powerful, and less feature filled.
