I bought the DeWalt 12v Xtreme 5-in-1 for $140 and change (shipped) with that promo. I have the M12 Fuel equivalent but no matter how hard I try, I can’t get used to the crappy ergonomics and the top-mounted forward-reverse button. I’ve tried holding it like a drywall gun as some have said here and it still feels awkward and clunky.

That’s an awesome cordless screwdriver and drill, even with out the problem-solving attachments!
The M12 Fuel definitely takes some getting used to, and isn’t ideal in all environments.

For anyone considering any of these, I’ll throw in some glowing endorsements:
DeWalt 12v Screwdriver (5-in-1 or the DCF601): Sleeper hit for me, bought it on a whim and it’s become my go-to. I never realized how often I was using a drill or impact for removing/installing screws. The dedicated tool works WAY better.
Milwaukee M12 Surge (2551): If you took all my M12/M18 but left me one, this is the one I’d keep. The hydraulic action is hard to explain but man is it a winner.
Milwaukee M18 Mid-Torque (2962): Enough power for 90% of all jobs in a super compact package. Yes, the big daddy 2767 has enough power to take lugs off a quarry mine truck but the mid-torque is really all most of us will ever need.
There. Hope that goes towards enabling someone’s tool purchases today! 😉

Well, I got the dream of stacking promos on some Milwaukee packout items. I think it was OPT that was running a promotion a few days ago that had something similar, except it applied only to in-stock items, and they had very few of the main boxes in stock. So ended up getting the 2-drawer unit, two foam inserts, the insert toolbox, and a compact organizer for just a hair over $200. I really only wanted the 2-draw unit, but with the escalating “spend more save more” promo, $50 got me the insert toolbox and compact organizer…a good value I think as they go for $115 separately.
Stuart – thanks for all the hard work. This and one other site are the places I go for my BF/Cyber Monday information. There are some seriously janky “deal” sites out there, but Toolguyd is the real deal… pun intended I guess.
