POWERSTACK™ is DeWALT’s groundbreaking new 20V MAX* compact Li-ion battery, delivering 50% more power than their XR 2.0Ah battery (DCB203)1, while also being 15% lighter and more compact with a 25% smaller footprint.
Compared to the DCB203 battery, the POWERSTACK™ battery has twice the lifespan, with respect to charge cycles.
This battery is going to be a game-changer. And, you can be one of the first people to put POWERSTACK™ to work.

We’ve partnered with DeWalt to give away not only a new 20V MAX* POWERSTACK™ battery, but also a sweet combo of 20V MAX* XR brushless power tools to use it with.
The Prize Package

The DeWALT DCD791 20V MAX* cordless drill is compact and powerful, and pairs nicely with the new POWERSTACK™ battery. It features a brushless motor, 2000 RPM max speed, and a 3-mode LED worklight.
I love using this drill for its power and application speed, but also the way it comfortably fits the size and shape of my hand.

The DeWALT DCS565 20V MAX* brushless circular saw challenges the notion that “bigger is better.” It features a brushless motor, 6-1/2″ blade size, 4950 RPM max speed (no-load), and 0-50° bevel capacity. The saw can cut through 2x construction lumber in a single pass – even at 45°. It comes with a removable dust chute for cleaner cutting.
Plus, you get the POWERSTACK™ battery, a 2.0Ah battery, 20V MAX*/12V MAX* charger, and a couple of DeWALT drill bits to get you started.
The prize package will ship in what can only be described as a modern day treasure chest that will leave you smiling for hours. Yes, I am speaking from personal experience.

Callum
I’d like to try Dewalt’s offerings and see how they compare.
Steve A Vige
I love DeWalt family of products and the ease of use with the cordless batteries. I have quite a few DeWalt tools and I can always use more. I also could always use battery upgrades so I hope to win this offer by DeWalt for Black Friday. Steve.
Reijo
Would love to try the new powerstack on the skill saw. Currently using the standard 20V max batteries and even the 8Ah gets chewed through in 15 minutes of cutting 2X4’s.
Julian Tracy
Unlike most folks, I’m never chasing the largest batteries out there. I still prefer using my 2.0 Makita’s in my impact driver when I’m just using it for basic work. I’m also on the Dewalt 20v platform and this slim battery could be very handy in a few of the DW tools I use.
Chris H
The Powerstack would def bring me over to Dewalt!
jordan
I like to give it to dad for a birthday present.
David
I’d like to try the Powerstack batteries to see how they perform, and to expand my slowly growing Dewalt cordless collection.
As always, thanks for making these happen!
Matt S
I would love to add this to my 20v Max lineup, which is currently lacking a circ saw
Prkl8r
Be great to fill some holes in my small but growing collection of yellow power tools. The power stack batteries seem like some interesting tech!
Josh R
I’d love to get into the dewalt tool ecosystem. I really like what I’ve read about their cordless romex stapler and would love to try it out, but I’m invested into another brand and don’t want to switch for just one tool. Getting a start would make the switch much less painful.
Julian
You might rethink that cordless Romex stapler after you actually get one. I thought it would be the absolute ticket for an entire basement worth of new wiring, but I sold it off after the job was over. There is no depth setting and the darn thing won’t hold tight a single or 2wire bundle of basic 14 or 12 ga. romex. So unlike when hand stapling where you can run a nice tight clean run, this thing leaves the wires loose enough to look sloppy unless your stapling a set of three 14ga romex or maybe 2 12ga. The stapler is also ridiculously heavy and large – much more so than you’d think looking at pictures.
A bit of a fail imo unless maybe if you are a commercial electrician running miles of romex bundles. Not so great for residential work imo.
Travis
Wow, I couldn’t have said this any better. I had pretty much the exact same experience.
Eric S.
My own gift! No extra money in the budget for power tools.
Mark
I really like the idea of this more compact battery with higher power output capability and runtime, i have many 20V batteries and would appreciate saving some weight on my impact driver that i carry and use quite often.
Mike K
I’d love to try the new powerstack battery, as I recently bought the new Atomic impact driver and need to replace my Craftsman Nextec 12V drill, OMT and circular saw.
Christopher Wilke
Interested to compare the 20v stuff to the older 18v system
Mikeee
Very interesting powerstack battery. Would like to test it
Thank you
Steve
I’d like to try out the new, more compact batteries!
Steve
I tried ti fill out the form, but can’t get it to load…anyone having any luck?
TC24
This would fill out my existing Dewalt 20v kit nicely. I have the hammer drill (796) but it’s rather heavy so a smaller drill would be great. A circular saw is on my wishlist too. And Powerstack would be perfect; I don’t have any 21700 batteries and my most used pack is the 2Ah because it’s small but the Powerstack is even smaller. Thanks, Stuart and the ToolGuyd team!
Mark Flynn
I am all for the new compact battery technology. Powerstack may be the new future.
Gwiz
Love all my Dewalt tools. Just got the new Impact for some jobs on my camper. This would be a great addition to work on it.
Victor R
I would like to see the run times and performance difference between my new flexvolt tools with the powerstack.
ganushak
I Have dewalt battery from 1.3 to 9.0Ah
For a light impact DCF887, the lighter the battery, the better.
ken haylett
I would like to try out the powerstack battery
Dakota Starr
I’ve loved my brushed Dewalt power tools, but would love to upgrade the battery and upgrade to the brushless tools to get the extra umph that I need to take on the list of projects my wife has in front of me.
Tim
I want to see if the power stack is really as good as DeWalt says.
greg
The drill and saw would be a nice upgrade on my existing tools, and round out my dewalt tool set.
Gordon
I’d love to try out a compact battery system. I don’t work all day with tools so weight savings is far more important to me than run time. The flat lithium cells feel like a game changer in the size and weight category.
cafo
I’d like to try the new battery.
Matt L
I would love to try this out and see how it compares to my current DCB203 and larger batteries. As an engineer I am always looking for ways to pack more power into smaller envelopes! Thanks Toolguyd for making this happen!
Josh
That new battery will Be great in my atomic tools and will lighten up the 899 impact
Jason
I’d want to win this DeWALT POWERSTACK™ prize package because I never win anything. Plus, more tools is always a good thing.
Thank you Stuart for all you hard work with this site.
Mosh
Powerstack would be a great addition to my impact driver, (886) solid piece BTW
Even better if I would get it with a 850 impact…
And a new 6 ½ saw to replace my brushed 6 ½ … Can’t hurt
Thanks! Stuart
JamesR
I’m not on the 20V Dewalt platform, and I can’t think of a better way to get into it than getting a few free tools!
Mac
Would love to try it out!
Rich P
I am renovating my attic soon and could use the batteries and saw for the work.
DaveM
Another better battery? Sure.
Benjamin K
Winning this package would level up my woodworking game. The drill’s higher RPMs on the 20v platform (compared to the cheap 12v I have) would help with drilling tasks such as pinning mortises/finger joints, and drilling dowels. A cordless circ saw would make breaking down plywood a lot less hassle.
Steven Phillips
I would like to test out the new tools and batteries.
Chuck Forster
This looks to be a great way to minimize battery footprint. I’d like to try this more power dense form factor for home projects. I’ve also yet to step up from my 12V platform. I would likely buy into the family with the most compelling options.
Bernard Chan
I don’t have a lot of Dewalt 20v, mostly a Makita guys. Would love to see the weight difference of this new Dewalt battery
Tanner
I’m a makita guy and looking to swap it up for my workshop.
Saman P Perera
I am blue by nature but will love to try yellow for the differences.
Christian F
I’d love to give DeWalt a try and see how it compares to my current tools!
Allan
I would like to see how this compares to my M18 lineup…. It may get me to switch back over to yellow again.
Etienne
Who doesn’t like a new toy, er tool! Would gladly put it to use and hand off some of my older Bosch stuff to offspring.
Tim B.
Have never actually owned a Dewalt cordless myself… would love to try one, vs my typical Milwaukees..
Andy Ringsmuth
I would love to see how these batteries perform, and the tools themselves. Particularly the saw.
JasonMN
I have been building out my Dewalt 20V tool collection and am looking to add the circular saw! This would be perfect for an upcoming project to build a bench at my firepit.
James Vis
I would love to try the new battery with the 6.5″ saw. I have been using my old 7-1/4″ saw for years and have been debating the smaller size blade saw to have a lighter saw to reduce fatigue.
Andrew L
Currently in many projects in our home that I’d put these Dewalt tools to good use. Thank you for the opportunity Dewalt and being a sponsor to this site!
tom
Would be a great addition to my home shop
Eugene
I’d like to have the small batteries so I could run tools like the router and jigsaw with them but still have plenty of power and good runtime. I also would like the smaller saw and the drill to have for multiple woodworking jobs that don’t need the biggest tools to do.
David A.
I’d love to try the Dewalt system and see how it compares to the Makita and Milwaukee tools and batteries I’ve been using for several years. Thanks Stuart!
Amanda
Would be nice to have a cordless circular saw… 🙂
Dean
For free??? I’ll switch from red to yellow
Ryan O
Love my DeWalt tools and I’d love to see how this stacks up against my XR batteries. Smaller and lighter sounds fantastic.
Lee
Got some corded tools but have never had a dewalt cordless tool before! Might look good next to me dw735x and dw7491rs.
ethan
I want to use the powerstack battery on my grinder as I use that most of the time. would love to see how that adds increased power and time over other compact batteries. Having a new drill and saw would be nice too!
its_jake
There are a few reasons I’d love to have this:
– I have teal tools and don’t have a circ saw yet because i already have a corded saw. Cordless would get way more play
– Yellow tools are easier to borrow (or find at the pawn shop…)
– Who doesn’t love having yet another battery ecosystem? Seriously- hard to justify buying into, but sometimes theres a yellow tool I want that would only make sense to buy if I already owned batteries/charger
Dale
I’d like to see how yellow compares to red. I’ve had Dewalt in the past but going all the way back to the NiCad days.
Steve
Thinking of changing platforms, have a couple of flex volt tools and am impressed with them.
OrangeInAtlanta
Just moved to a house from a condo. These would be a great way to expand & develop a well rounded set of tools. The DeWalt tools I have have always been great; new additions would be even better.
blk
I’m only in 12V tools right now so this would be a great way to step into 18V/20V tools with the latest battery tech to keep them smaller and lighter.
Eric
My tools always seem too big… these look great.
Tom P
I finally made the decision to migrate to Dewalt 20v after being in the Craftsman Nextec ecosystem for years. I’ve been using your site to find deals and build out an essential set of tools but I’ve really agonized over what I should do about batteries. Should I load up on Black Friday deals now or wait for the Powerstack batteries to arrive? Winning this would help me establish a better foothold in the system.
Robert Boudreau
Im interested in their 1/2 atomic impact and win would push me to get it.
Eric B
I’m interested in their new PowerStack offerings. Ive been using Dewalt for my cordless needs and it seems like a good evolution of their product line
Marc
I’d love to try the new battery and the two tools will be a nice addition. Thanks
Bill Strobel
I would like to cut the cord and go cordless and this kit would be a great start.
Jon
I just bought some dewalt tools. This giveaway gives me the ability to show my wife that I offset my spending.. My logic is sound.
Rich
Been on the fence about adding Dewalt cordless platform. Great opportunity to try it out.
MicahMc
I love all things DeWALT! I’ve been anxious to learn what the capabilities of their new POWERSTACK batteries can do with my tools in terms of longevity and power! Plus, who WOULDN’T want to receive a modern-day treasure chest from DeWALT!!
Brian
My son just bought a fixer-upper as his first home and this would help out tremendously! Too much to do!
Colin Hickey
Time to retire my retro Ni-Cads and join the 2020’s!
Brian
I’d be interested in how the power stack battery and driver work. Also, will this new battery tech and size allow 18v/20v max to replace 12v tools.
Ben E.
Making do with a DeWalt impact driver for now, so the XR-series drill would be a welcome addition, and the Powerstack battery tech appears to be a slam dunk.
Peter
I have a basement to refinish!!
Gene Pitrowski
I’m very interested in the power stack battery and would love to do side by side comparison with the regular batteries. An extra tool wouldn’t hurt either.
JMG
Curiosity, plain and simple… I would like to compare the battery to the ones I am using now.
MarkC
Always interested in trying something new, looks like a good combination of battery and tool.
Ed Sichler
While I am a big fan of Milwaukee M12 system tools my Porter Cable 18V has finally given up so as my brother in law Cliff Hickson keeps telling me move up to DeWalt for the big tools. Both the drill and saw will get lots of use here in TX from my home to my daughter and her fiance’s homes as well.
Brett
About to start a deck remodel and would love the extra power and extended run time for my tools!
MT_Noob
I’m not on the DeWalt platform, but I am willing to give it a try.
Chris W
I already have several DeWalt tools, and would like to try the new battery
Matthew JK
I’d love to use them to help put up a barn i’m building next year!
Matthew Snyder
All my battery operated tools are Dewalt so I would love to try out this new battery technology.
Craig T
Would love to add to my Dewalt collection!
Amanda
I think it would be a great surprise for my husband. He was able to stock up last Christmas on a number of DeWalt items and this would be icing on the cake! (plus brownie points for me!)
Josh Moffett
I recently got into the Dewalt 20V MAX system for their Outdoor Power Equipment. I’ve been very pleased with them and would love to give one of their cordless power tools a try.
Mhdairy
I love my dewalt tools but I’ve been needing some new batteries and I think the power stack will be great!
Michael F
I would love to get the power stack battery and charger because I currently have no DeWalt tools and it would be an excellent excuse to buy the new atomic impact as well!
Will Cooley
Been using Dewalt for many years now and very excited to try out these new batteries!
Joshua Latham
I have some DeWalt 12 volt tools. Would love to dip my toes into the 20 volt lineup.
Ron
I just bought a DeWalt heated jacket and it’s smaller more powerful battery would be a perfect match for it
Steve H
To get a some new shiny tools and be able to gift my old DeWalts to my son.
MattW.
I want to try the power stack in my new atomic impact that has been my new go to!
Kevin
Hey…. I like to get a set to distinguish my tools from my dad’s tools. Put to work on the jobs site vs big red
MichaelT
My brother could always use an extra battery
Stephen Garvin
I would love to get a chance to try out the new powerstak battery and I could really use both tools!
Parke W
I’m still using my cordless drill from 13 years ago. I’ve never tried a brushless and it seems like so much has improved in that time.
Chad
DeWalt fan. I’d love to see how the new battery works and the difference in power.
Russell Starke
Toolguyd.com has been crucial as a recent first time home buyer for all the projects I’ve been doing around the house and on a budget. I could really get some stuff done with these tools.
Austin
To claim a prize of DeWalt tools small in size, I’ll take a crack at winning the powerstack bundle pack.
Mike
Currently I use both Milwaukee and Dewalt tools, would like some new innovation to pull me in to one main direction to build upon. New battery sounds awesome and good advantages for the future
Steve
I’d love to put these new batteries to the test while I finish my new deck, as well as my basement renovation.
Jon
I would like to test the new powerstack batteries to see how they compare with existing offerings.
Joe L
I’m already invested in the 20V MAX platform and would love to try out the new battery. And a new saw/drill would be nice, so you don’t have to switch out blades/bits if you’re cutting different materials or different sized holes during a single project.
Joren
Would be a fun opportunity to take to task these “new” to the tool world packs, see how they stand up to the use and abuse my team provides.
Thanks!
Mike Crowley
Would love to complement my current range of DeWalt batteries (from 2ah compact, all the way to FlexVolt) w/Powerstack, and the smaller 791 drill would balance out my current beefy 996, 3-speed drill for ligher jobs. Have never had a bad DeWalt tool yet!
Jim
The tools would be great, but really excited to work pwoerstack into my ‘stable’
Caylon Rogers
I am an up and coming woodworker trying to start a business and get into it full time. I am already a huge dewalt fan and would love to expand to the tools I need but currently can’t afford. This would be an awesome way to help me get going!
Davethetool
I would enjoy the Dewalt Circ Saw as mine was stolen this week and I haven’t replaced it as of yet. The Drill is excellent as all Dewalt Drills are. I have this Dewalt drill but the Hammer Version with 3 speeds! Would be nice to carry around the same drill but a little lighter weight.
Joe D
Would love to add a new tool to the arsenal!
Scott F
This would ultimately turn into a gift for my father who has always been in the DeWalt ecosystem, but got left behind when they moved from 18V to 20V. The old man’s 18V drill could use replacing, it’s had a hard life… And I’m sure he’d appreciate being able to bring a cordless circular around, not that he’s a very avid wood worker. Batteries never hurt either!
Juxtapose
I’d like to win this because that PowerStack battery is the form factor I desire! it’s the reason I started with DeWalt’s 12v lineup, and only branched into the 20v when I needed some tools that aren’t made in 12. So, this battery would make my 20v tools even more portable and maneuverable. (Also, it would fit that new cute tiny stubby impact driver so well!)
TexMan
This would be great to add to my collection of all my other Dewalt equipment
Lawson
I would like to try out the new battery system in parallel with my existing battery choices. The saw is really interesting to me, I’d love to know that the battery option would fulfill most of my saw needs without having to use my larger corded model.
Matt S
I’m looking to use this for remodeling a new house, and I’d also use the drill for occasional field service calls for work.
Brien
I would like to tryout the powerstack package for one reason, one word… shoulders.
Galyn Williams
Love the idea of winning
Albert
I didn’t know the old Dewalt batteries needed updating. However, I do find myself going to grab the bigger batteries for lights and tools I plan to be using for a while. Interested to see how this smaller form factor compares.
Nathan Daniels
I mean, you can literally NEVER have enough drills! 🙂
Kphee92
I would like to update my Dewalt drill to this newer brushless model. Also very in in trying this new Powerstack battery.
Ben G
I had Ni-Cd cordless tools and walked away from cordless years ago. Finally broke down and got some DeWALT 12v Max Xtreme tools. Those have been fantastic and have almost completely changed my mind about cordless. I would love to see what cutting edge engineering brings to the table.
James Ouzts
I use Dewalt brushless grinders a lot. Great tools but they really go through the smaller batteries. I’d love to see how this compares. The other two tools would be great additions to my collection.
Charles
I’d like to test the new battery design. And my daughter could use the tools!
Minh Vuong
What an awesome battery! Can’t wait to try it out
MoogleMan3
I’d switch over to dewalt from milwaukee if the powerstack batteries turn out to be as big a game changer as they’re advertising. I use smaller batteries for most tools right now.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Mark Morrison
Most of my Dewalt tools are still the old 14.4v so I’d like to start transitioning to 20v.
Thanks!
Rob H
I would like to see how the new battery technology holds up. I would use the tools for projects around my home.
Stewart
I’d like to give them to my son-in-law who recently moved away and no longer has access to my tools.
Mike Hansen
I’d love to see how the new batteries compare to my current XR batteries!!
skfarmer
i am looking forward to trying the new battery. i have a full array of 20v max batteries but my most used are the compact batteries, either the 2 ah or the 3 ah.
the smaller size is a bonus when using drills, smaller impacts and other tools with lower needs or for quick jobs. the larger batteries are usually only needed with tools that require longer run times or have a heavy power draw.
Mopar
Still working on 2 different houses in 2 different states. I would love to have this set to keep in one place so as not to keep carrying tools back and forth every weekend.
John Fal
I would love to try out this battery, more power sounds good and it would be perfect for tight places and I like that circular saw too. Them maybe someone might be getting a new drill for Christmas too. lol.
HiggiML
The tools would go to a friend of mine who desperately needs an upgrade. The battery would totally be for me though!! 🙂
Robert Boudreau
I’d like to try the new DeWalt cordless tools.
Joel
Yes, please! Lighter and more powerful batteries are just what an old guy like me needs.
Craig J
Definitely excited to try these new PowerStack batteries and I’ve had the 791 in my cart for months. I currently have a 777 and it’s no slouch but I bet the 791 with a PowerStack will be a monster.
DAVID
Never used a DeWALT cordless and this would be a good reason to try one! 😉
TonyT
I’d definitely like to try out this new battery tech. I really like small, but capable tools (and have noticed the “small tool, big battery” syndrome), so for example, I’d be interested to see how the circular saw compares to my big, heavy, but very nice Makita X2.
David T.
The 6 1/4″ saw along with the compact drill is a good fit for light duty work around the house and I’m very curious to see whether the new PowerStack battery can deliver on it’s comprise.
EC
I’d love to have this to kickstart my move into battery tools. I want to go with DeWalt and this battery configuration looks the one best suited for my needs.
Ryan Cunningham
I would love to add dewalt to my tool lineup including the power stack!
Jordon
My kids are getting old enough to help dad in the workshop, but struggle with the heavy power tools and batteries. The new Dewalt Powerstack would be great to make the tools lighter for them to learn to use!
Tucker
I’d like to try something new. A lot of my Makita tools are older vintage LXT.
Clay
I would love to test the powerstack battery in various tools, both high demand and low.
Would especially like to use that battery on the OMT.
dave the brave
I’ve always wanted a 2 amp hour sized battery to pair with my impact driver for weight and convenience but find they dont always have the power I need for this purpose. Looking forward to this release!
Chris
It’d be nice to have these to bring to work and not have to use company ones
RDS
Love Dewalt and can’t wait to try these tools
Eric H
I would like to try the new powerstack battery. I just had two dewalt batteries fail from fault in the 20V blower and I need to replace them. A few new tools like a drill would be great addition!
Paul McNaughton
I am switching my old 18v stuff out for the 20v max platform… would love to try out the new powerstack, as I put these 20 volt batteries to the test every weekday, all day.
Thanks
Derrick L.
I would like to have this/these PowerStack tools because I’m building up my DeWalt tool collection. And I don’t have a brushless circular saw. I still have a corded circular saw. It needs to go.
Kingsley
I can’t wait to use one of these to charge my laptop on using the DCB094 USB-C adapter!
John Sds
New tools would really help my workflow, could pass old ones on to the apprentice.
DRT42
Very interested in comparing the new powerstack to my teal, red, and dark blue tools. Could win me over !
Sean
I am not a big fan of the large heavy batteries but there are times the extra capacity is necessary…It would be nice to get both the extended capacity in a smaller, lighter package….winning the new battery solution would be even better!!
Kenneth Stephens
I just started as a Toyota auto technician. I got the dcf913 impact wrench and I think the power stack battery would be great way to maximize power and minimize size.
Ryan
I would love to upgrade my home use power tools and see how dewalt stacks up against my milwaukee work tools.
Matt the Hoople
I’ve been looking to get into a 20v drill and an upgrade to my brushed 20v saw would be welcome. I would then gift my almost new brushed saw to my buddy who recently helped me build a new shed. He’s in construction and has a 20v drill and driver but no saw.
Tim OHearn
I would like to win this DeWalt giveaway so I can finally move to a new battery ecosystem and lay my old and beat Ridgid power tools rest.
Jeremy
These batteries sound awesome. It would also be great timing to win this bundle as I just burned out my DeWalt circular saw.
Scott K
My Bosch drill and driver are starting to show their age, so I’d love to replace them with a DeWalt and get setup on their new battery platform. Sweet giveaway!
J.C.
I want to try out the new type of battery and I could use a new cordless saw.
LyeToMe
I’m just looking forward to a battery that’s smaller than the current 2Ah. I use different size batteries for different occasions, but usually the smaller ones fit the bill.
Jason C.
I work in home construction and the drill or saw would be perfect for my daily tasks. Also I look forward to trying out the new battery.
Leo B.
I would love to pass this kit along to a young friend of mine who is getting started in the trades, and could use a few starter tools. Thanks for the chance to win!
Nathan A
I love my dewalt 20 volt power tools and I would love to try out their new power stack batteries.
JonL
Saw a YouTube video showing how impressive the powerstack was to a 5.0 battery and am excited to try out the technology.
Dean
Did someone say FREE YELLOW TOOLS?? Sign my up!!
Ed
I would love to try out the new DeWALT POWERSTACK™ battery on my 3-speed multi-tool. While the smaller batteries tend to get used up quickly on most of my 20V Max tools, the multi-tool has the dual advantage of running the longest on the smaller batteries while also benefitting the most from a lighter battery weight since I’m often using it to make cuts while holding the tool at odd angles or in awkward/cramped spaces. I think I may have just convinced myself that I need to get a POWERSTACK™ whether I win it or not. 😉
Laurence
My current DeWalt tools have fallen off the ladder a few too many times and I’d love to replace them!
DML
I’m considering a remodeling project that would be a great opportunity to put these new tools through their paces and see first hand how the new technology performs.
Chris Gutierrez
It would be great to add a battery to the collection and get to see how it measures up against the old 1.3 /2 as well as the 4/5 and the FV 6/9 on my next project.
Also whenever possible I prefer the smaller batteries so I’m really looking forward to being able to run higher draw tools with a smaller pack even if I need to change out more often
Brandon
I would love to see how the batteries perform in cold North Dakota weather and if the circular saw has more power than my current 20v saw for cutting green treat deck lumber.
Matt S
Of course I’m down for a Dewalt prize pack! I think the new batteries may be really interesting.
jeepguy
This would be sweet!!!
conor
Have a bunch of DeWalt 20v tools, and not enough batteries. Drill is old and don’t have a cordless saw.
Josh
Just getting started with my Dewalt 20V Max collection. Interested to try the new batteries and see if the new technology lives up to the hype.
BradWH
I would definitely love to see pouch cells hit the tool market. I am curious how well they will hold up in moisture/heat etc vs can cells. These make me excited for other industries that benefit from consumer level products coming to market thus making it cheaper for the hobby industries. I have an older brushed drill and I lack a battery-powered saw. Would be using these all the time from my side hustles to my big-time Battlebots builds!
Lyle Nevin
Love to go more compact on the batteries.
Ezzy
I’d love to get a free set of tools!!
S Nett
I would like to try out this new type of battery and compare it to my current ones. I have an older brushed Bosch saw, and would love an upgrade to the Dewalt!
Al
I use a dull hand crosscut/toolbox saw to cut everything because I’m too lazy to clear out a big enough workspace to use my sliding miter saw. So, I’m getting this huge right arm. My left arm is jealous. Seriously jealous. So, please, for the sake of my jealous left arm, help me win a cordless circular saw. My right arm will return to its normal non-bodybuilder, flabby form. My jealous left arm thanks you.
JB
I’m on the Dewalt 20v platform and this battery would be very useful for the DW tools I use.
shawnrau
Id like to give my father-in-law an upgrade for his late 90’s dewalt set.
Luke Hlawaty
Have porter cable but have been making the switch to dewalt and love it. Could really use these to get me going faster
Mopar4wd
Would love to upgrade my 18V dewalt drill
Jimmie
Currently have M12 gear. This would be the motivation to buy into an 18/20V ecosystem.
Minnesota Chris
Great giveaway. I’ve been on the dewalt platform since 2000 and use them for business and personal everyday. The powerstack batteries would be great to have.
Fernando Martinez
Thans ToolGuyd and DeWalt for providing us the tools and knowledge so the average hardworking homeowner and professional can get the job done. I would like to win this prize pack so, that me and my son can build projects together, and create long lasting memories.
IL Mike M
I just started doing woodworking at home over the pandemic. I took advantage of the DeWalt free tool deals with Black Friday and would love to expand my collection and see how the powerstack gives more freedom to make things for my family.
Bill G
Residential/Commercial carpenter, used Dewalt for years and I’m interested in trying out the new battery
Chris
Started buying into the DeWalt ecosystem from Ryobi
Pete Allen
Well I’d love to compare it to my other Dewalt batteries.
Bernardo Castro
I always try to avoid the 2ah batteries due to them not really lasting long and would love to see how these perform
Bernardo Castro
I always try to avoid the 2ah batteries due to them not really lasting long and would love to see how these perform..
Gary A Meyers
Considering a cordless table saw and the extra power would be appreciated!
Jon98
I would give to my dad who had already got DeWalt tools
Dennis Thurman
I would love a saw like that for hobby projects, since I’m retired with time on
My hands
Rob Spanos
I do a lot of above the head sanding and would love to see if the runtime vs weight ratio really is as good as they say they are.
Dan
The little reminder every time you picked up a tool with this new battery….I can’t believe I actually won this…
MM
I’m looking forward to try out the new Powerstack batteries; the fact that they are more compact yet also capable of high power delivery makes them perfect to use with the newer Atomic tools.
Larry Vo
I’m a commercial electrician that carries a lot of tools for 8 hours a day. I would use this battery to lighting my load on my bags while adding power.
Munklepunk
Give them as gifts. Don’t need more tools but I have friends that do
Joel
I’ve had the same drill set for years since 2012 when I got my first job in high school working as an electrical apprentice every other week. Drills are starting to wear out and am currently looking for a new set. I would love to try out the new tech.
Mark
Thinking about switching over to team yellow and this would be an awesome start
Garrett
I’d love to see how they compare to my Ryobi!
Bmoney
I could use a new battery & the circ saw!
Brian
I absolutely love dewalt. It is my first choice in commercial/residential construction. I always try to keep the most current tools/trends from dewalt, including one of the first dewalt heated jackets. I would always show my friends and have them purchasing dewalt in no time.
Ronny
I trimmed down on my DeWalt collection but would be open to expanding it a bit again. I would also be very interested in trying the PowerStack battery. I love tools that are light and compact but powerful!
Tim N
Just bought my first Dewalt earlier this month and would love to win this as a nice start in building out a bigger collection.
Wyatt D.
I just bought the DCF850B Impact driver and would really enjoy having the PowerStack battery to accompany it. As an electrician I can end up in a lot of tight spaces and having compact, light, and powerful tools certainly helps! The PowerStack battery would aid me greatly in it. DeWalt has been my go to brand and I even got two other guys in my company to switch over from Milwaukee and Makita with help by the Black Friday sales this year. If the PowerStack proves to be true to specs I will certainly recommend it to anyone I know who has DeWalt and get the higher ah batteries once they come out.
Rob
Id love to see how things have changed since my old NiCad Dewalt drill!
Steve
I will give this to my employee who loves DeWalt.
Joel N.
This would be a great replacement for my 18v DeWalt drill with worn out batteries. Excited to try out the new batteries and circular saw.
Jaime
Looking into an 18V+ platform to get into. Is it a sin to have Milwaukee M12 and Dewalt 20V? Just saying this would definitely tip the scales.
Sam Lucci
I want to see this gift box. But mostly, I just want to see the faces of my coworkers when I load up that Powerstack for the first time.
Philip
I love Dewalt tools. Especially the compact ones.
Clarence Hitchings
Would like to try out Dewalt line of tools.
Doug N
Would love to put these to use in my shop, replacing a brushed circ saw. I love the slim 3 and 4 ah batteries but these new ones may be even better.
Thanks for the giveaway.
Mr.
Would love to add these to my growing Dewalt 20v battery collection.
Nils
I’d love to see what kind of difference the power stack makes particularly in tools like an impact and a circular saw. Sometimes I pack really light for a long day and would love to decrease my battery load.
christopher yancy
i would like the drill to give to my brother and would like the circular saw because im a 14yo who cant afford one lol
Sue B
I am always grateful for the manufacturing of a smaller, yet stronger tool. This new battery may just be the beginning of a completely revolutionized motorized tool industry. Thank you Dewalt!
Nathan
I want to win the DeWalt tools because I am a new home owner and I am looking for a brand of tools for home projects.
Dylan G
I would love to try out the new batteries on my jobsite, reduced weight with equivalent power is a huge plus on large jobs and when working at heights!
Andrew C
Definitely want to try out the power stack batteries! A 6.5 inch saw has been on my list for a while too.
Mike
I’d love to give the power stack batteries a whirl! I bet they’re a great fit for an impact driver in addition to the two tools in the kit.
Derric Smith
Love new tech and need some new batteries
Justin F
Definitely ready for a circular saw upgrade and this would fit the bill nicely 😉
AlexV
I’d like to compare them against my Milwaukee tools
Joellikestools
I would give this to my brother who could really use a circular saw.
Jason
I would love to compare it to my other cordless tools
Kellie May Duty
The pandemic has really got us struggling, slowly lost so much. In my fiance s previous divorce, his EX sold all his tools. My fiance went to college and had a degree for desiel mechanic. He loves to work on cars. Wrenching since the ago of 5 with his dad. He is passionate about his love for wrenching. He currently has no tools at all.. he had the best tool boxes with every tool possible he reminces. We can’t afford tools, and he is having a hard time getting work because lack of tools.. I not working and struggling to makes ends meat. If I won I would surprise my fiance with the tools. It would give him the helping hand he needs to feel better about our situation and be able to support our family
Thank you
Kellie May Duty
Josh Anderson
I am thoroughly invested into the DEWALT 20V lineup with the handyman and remodeling work that I do and I would use the powerstack battery on my primary impact driver for the longer life and compact size. Thanks for the chance to win yet another awesome tool. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thomas D
I’ve realized that I almost never cut anything beyond 2x lumber and have been eyeing the 6.5 saw for awhile now! And new battery technology is simply exciting to me, and it’d be fun to put this powerstack one through it’s paced.
Brian Collins
I’m a Milwaukee tool user but still use a corded circular saw. This cordless saw from Dewalt would make great addition to my tool kit.
Ron
This would replace my aging equipment and allow me to continue on.
Christopher
Would love to try this. Have always had second hand drills as they are provided by employer. Nice to use from brand new, to give a better idea what they are capable of when taken care of.
Popgun42
I have a Dewalt table saw and miter saw, I would like to try Hand power tools.
Nello F. Terry
I’m 76 years old, and I would love to have these to help me out around the house. I’ve always preferred Dewalt tools, and this would be great!!
Jennifer Williams
My husband is a Dewalt only tool man and has been for several years. He recently just shipped his drill to a Dewalt Service Center a few weeks ago and unfortunately it never made it there and we keep getting the run around from UPS.. He type of job requires specific tools and after waiting as long as we could he decided to go buy a new drill that has helped with his jobs but definitely lacks the quality that his Dewalt Drill provided and my poor guy is holding out hope that the “ missing package “ will be found soon ( it’s been 3 weeks) so decided to try our luck with this contest!
Mark Lopez
Always could use more batteries, I’m in!
Will
Always need another drill, thanks
Billy Edwards
Our family owns a growing window treatment company where we use drills all day long. As Project Manager I’m always looking for efficiency with the crews and what the best tool purchases will be for them. I’d very much like to try testing this.
David
I don’t think I deserve to win anymore than anyone else. I just own many DeWalt power tools and would love to win more. I’m always looking for more corded told that I can replace with cordless so my work area isn’t cluttered with cords.
Dave Radtke
I love to try it on my ice drill to see how much more power it has. I use an 8 inch drill to drill thru 24 inches of ice. I make many holes and would love to have it
Chase Shoffner
Im a remodeler and I have my Dewalt tools all exclusively with 5ah batteries. If I could have a battery that is smaller in size but better with runtime and power…then I’m having my cake and eating it too! I’ve had a few tools that have horrible runtime and makes me want to throw them out when I don’t have any juice left! I’d be happy to put this to the test!
JR3 Home Performance
I’d like the upgraded batteries
Will
I don’t currently have a cordless drill, which would sure come in handy at times.
Alex
It would be great to try that powerstack battery.. I’ve heard some things and am a bit skeptical of its practicality and having a true place in my tool bag. Wouldn’t mind having that peace of mind in continuing to recommend DeWalt to others.
Richard
I’d like to try this out on the random orbit sander. I currently use the 3.0ah batteries are anything larger make the sander too bulky. The powerstack seems like the ultimate combination of power and size.
Jim Hy
This power stack setup would be a great upgrade to the tools that I make a living with.
Bill Clay
Dewalt’s tools combined with even a better battery technology (lighter & more power) will be a big benefit in portable all day use away from power sources. It would be great to try this out myself!
Tim Butterfield
I need some dewalt in my life
Ralph
I’d love to try out the new batteries.
Bruce Ray
I have some DeWalt tools and love them, these world be a great addition – especially the Power stack
Israel Forbes
I would love this Dewalt 20v power tool kit more than anyone else would love it. I would cherish it for always and sleep with it under my bed, maybe I’ll scratch Santa’s back a little if he scratches mine you know what I mean, with a newer and probably not better but definitely newer sled! You’ll get it if I win, I promise. I might even let someone else build it who knows how to, depending on how feel when I win, thank you. I love it!!
Steven Strohm
I desperately need an upgrade over my random assortment of ryobi battery and plug in tools.
Ken
Would put these tools to use in my soon to be new woodshop (my first). They’re very much needed as I’ve been using a very weak Ryobi circ saw that’s at its end of life.
vvim
I really need to get some exp with cordless circ saws!
TMS
Been looking at cordless circular saw options … I currently have M12 stuff, but would like to try out the Dewalt options. I’ve got some smaller Dewalt stuff along with corded tools from them as well.
Sam
Lots of remodeling and fixing up to do on a new house. New tools could definitely make things a bit easier.
David N.
I would love this for a deck build this spring!
Koko The Talking Ape
For once I’m not entering a giveaway. After all these years, I’m set with drills and circ.
I will say that I have this exact saw, and it is a honey. Powerful, big enough to handle anything with 2x lumber, but lighter and smaller than 7 1/4″ saws. Blades are readily available. But people should be aware that it’s a blade-left, which means right-handers can see the cut line more easily and usually the weight is not on the waste, but it will throw sawdust at you without dust collection.
Kevin
I’d love to retire some of my 2AH batteries that don’t hold a charge well and replace with the powerstack. The drill and saw would be nice upgrades too!
Wes
I’d love to try the new powerstack. They sound great. And I have been wanting to get a circular saw to add to my DeWalt set.
Madtown Matt
I’d love to put the new DeWalt tools to work in my wood shop.
Joseph Kielar
I’d like to give these to my son as his 1st tools.
Cr8on
I’m not only interested in the POWERSTACK™ battery, the saw looks to be awesome, love the brushed version so I can imagine it will blow me away!
Marky
I have been looking around which company to start with this would push me towards dewalt
Dominic L
Woukd love to test out the Powerstack battery in my existing tools. Flexvolt is great, but some times a bit to bulky.
Ben Siefert
a lot of my Dewalt batteries are tired and I any excited to see how the new power stack batteries will work!
Todd shaffer
Since I am upgrading my tools for work. This would be a great step in that direction.
Todd shaffer
New tools are always great and I need new tools for work.
Eugenio
With 10 DeWalt 20V or 60V batteries I often go for the smallest, but sometimes am forced to switch to larger ones due to power needs. It looks like this battery will aid me in my tendency to go for the smallest battery pack.
Justin
Love the innovations from DeWalt, I use their tools from personal projects, to work sites, & at the Fire House for any & all projects. Customer service has always been fast & friendly. Ive wanted this promo set since I started seeing videos on it & Im super excited about the changes this can incorporate into their tool line.
Danny
I need batteries!
Erik
I’d be more curious on the cordless circ saw with the power stack. I’m cordless on almost every other tool than my circular saw; just felt like I’d be losing out on the power going cordless with that…..
Michael Bollman
I would love this because I share tools with my wife and it’d be nice to have another drill with great longevity!
Greg W
I am looking to switch systems (starting all over) and this looks like a great set to start with!
Dan
The new Powerstack batteries would be great to replace my failed 2ah Dewalt batteries while also upgrading my drill and saw.
Jesse snedden
Interested in upgrading all my outdated tools to a more dependable and easy to use brand.
Justin L
I am in need of an upgrade, this would be just the one!
JosP
I want an excuse to get the DCF850B to match the battery’s compactness. It’d be nice along with my other Dewalt tools.
David W
I would love to try these new Dewalt Powerstack power drill and circular saw to upgrade my tool collection; I had battery powered ones once upon a time, but had to get corded for any task a year or two later.
Mike G
New deck project and my current drill and corded saw are getting old.
Neal
I’d like to win it because I have no Dewalt tools and I’m growing increasingly disappointed with Makita’s direction and stagnation.
DAvid N
It tough having to settle for second or third best, never enough savings or super deals to jump to the next level. Having top of the line tools I believe will make a better project and more accurate. This would be an absolute great Christmas gift from Santa to receive this and start the Dewalt tool collection.
Stacey Jones
I’d put it to work building stuff out of pallets.
k5rpd
I would like to use it on the farm.
Matthew Schulz
I would like to try out the new powerstack battery and see if I can notice a performance boost in my current Dewalt tools.
Phillip E
We are building our own Barndominium and have been amazed at the power difference between our 5ah batteries and our 1.5/2 ah batteries. We would love to test a more powerful battery at the same weight as the 2ah we own now.
Javier A.
Need a circ saw to rebuild my deck that a stupid hurricane destroyed!
Reginald
Just moved into my first home, and I think this would be a great start to building my first tool set.
Amber
We would really appreciate the DeWalt Powerstack package. The drill and circular saw would be a definite help and upgrade to the ones we’re using for all this unexpected, but needed, remodeling we’ve been doing in our house since we bought it last December. And the awesome batteries are a definite bonus! Thank you for offering the chance.
Matthew Mills
Because working over head in an elevator shaft it would be nice to save some weight but not loose power like the other small batteries. Also cool to always have the newest, latest tools.
James R.
Can always use some Yellow and Black tools in my arsenal!
Mac
I’m solidly team red, with a number or corded orange tools. I’d give the yellow stuff a spin if it wasn’t an additional investment
Greg B
These would add nicely to my collection of dewalt tools, and would be a pretty nice upgrade to my existing circular saw. Thanks for all the great content that’s been put out this holiday season!
Kraig Menz
I’m not on the 20V Dewalt platform, and I can’t think of a better way to get into it than getting a few free tools!!!
Britt
I’d put the pouch battery tech to good use.
JeffZ
I’m very interested in the new power stack technology batteries. I have a several tools from Dewalt already. using large batteries on some of these tools makes for a very unbalances and tiring experience. I’d love to see how these lighter batteries compare to the original’s in both weight and performance.
loup68
I would really like to upgrade my much older brushed Dewalt tools and to try the new POWER STACK battery!
Adam G
If love to win to replace my Dewalt still that the trigger went bad in and to try the new battery tech.
MB Forwood
Huge DeWalt fan – the new batteries look wonderful, a true game changer. Would love to try the new powerstack on so many items. Currently using the standard 20V max batteries.
Bill Lutonsky
I would love to win this tool set , I’ve never been able to afford the best and Dewalt is the best.
Michael Moscicki
Smaller and more power would be a game changer for the smaller tools. My smallest battery is an old 3AH which just so happens to be the same size as a new 4AH and 5AH.
One perplexing thing I did notice when I weighed my batteries was that my 5AH was lighter than either of my 2 4AH batteries. Same capcity cells and more AH should mean a heavier battery, because to my knowledge only the 6 AH and up uses the newer 21700 cells as well as the compact 4AH.
Hopefully the new Powerstack batteries will lead to the end of the sub 2AH batteries without the gauges.
Robert
I am a Dewalt user and would like to convert my brother to this brand. This would make a great birthday gift for him.
Mike
Would love to check out how the powerstack compares to regular batteries.
Nathan S
Now that wood prices have come down, I’ve set my sights on building a 12×16 shed in my yard (approximately 250 ft from my shop) in 2022. My present tools are either corded or old Craftsman C3. I’ve had my eye on DeWalt 20V max, and this certainly would help out that and other projects and push me over the initial product line investment hump.
Rick Hegberg
My 20+ year old Craftman C3 system is getting quite old and I’m looking for replacements.
Tom Jakoski
Would love to win this wonderful package! Most of my DeWalt tools are older and need to be replaced. DeWalt is the best tool on the market and the only one I prefer to buy.
928'er
I really, REALLY, need yet another battery platform…
Chad Pater
I would like to try out the new powerstack battery and see if I can notice a performance boost in my current Dewalt tools.
Joatman
Anxious to add some of these to the lineup. The extended run times would be awesome. Would use on 20v miter saw mostly…..and fan. Would buy another 20v trimmer, for sure.
Jason Schroeder
I would love to try the circular saw. The last time I used a Dewalt cordless circular saw was 20 years ago, and it was an 18V NiCad.
Mr. Creek
I have upsold to friends and family over $200,000.00 in Dewalt 20v tools. They all look to me for advice as to what to buy next for, 20v, Flexvolt and batteries. Trying this will let me tell the 50+ people I have converted over the best battery path forward.
Cooper Shields
I’m about to graduate with a masters in Historic Preservation, these tools would really give me a leg up on all the projects I want to complete on the historic house I eventually buy, and work projects in the near future.
belikemike
(Lighter and more powerful) What’s not to like about that? I would like to experience both. Sign me up!
vince dewitte
In the shop and yard, yellow is where it’s at…. Thanks for the great tools & batteries.
AC
Eager to check out the new battery tech and the new 6.5″saw, and that drill is top-notch. It all looks like a solid addition to my trusty Dewalt kit.
Tim
I would like the Powerstack battery for the hand held tools that is nice to use with a lighter battery but dose better when used with a bigger Battery (the 20v trim Router as an example)
I use Dewalt tools every day at work and I use them for Volunteer work. Having less wight is always a nice thing when using them all day!
Joe N
I want to try the new batteries to check battery life
Brian King
Would like to try these out and decide if they are worth buying.
ANGEL FLORES
99% OF MY TOOLS ARE DEWALT AND I AM ANXIOUS TO SEE HOW MUCH BETTER THEY PERFORM WITH THE POWER STACK BATTERIES.
Eli
My old 18V tools are nearing the end of there service life. Three young kids makes it tough to upgrade anything. Would love to stay in the dewalt family! Can’t imagine the battery improvement!
Manny Jenkins
In my opinion, Dewalt makes the best power tools on the Market. I have always been a huge fan of the Dewalt products and it is always my go to standard. The new Powerstack is supposed to have 50% more power with a smaller footprint. I can’t wait to try it out. Hopefully Christmas will come early and I will win this giveaway and I can tell all my family and friends that I finally won something awesome! 🙂
chris moore
Curious to see the power output from such a small ah battery on higher output tools
Justin Grover
Would love to win this, it would motivate me to finally build my kids a playhouse.
Ted Lesch
i would like to win simply to try out the new battery technology!
Neil
My place is 46 years old and needs some TLC.
I’m involuntarily “retired” so I have free time, but a limited budget.
Getting these tools would allow me to do some DIY around the house, without breaking the bank.
Andy B.
I’m a tool addict and love every shiny new toy.
Jack McKeathen
I have several Dewalt 20v and this prize package would compliment and improve upon the set.
Nick O
I currently have old craftsman stuff, so I’d like to see what better stuff performs like.
Deek619
My old Craftsman C3 tools and batteries have been dying and this would be a fantastic start to building a new cordless tool set.
Gretchen
I’d love to surprise my husband with these. His Royobi tools are on there last leg.
Dan D
I would love to try these batteries, as I have used the old style of 20v for quite awhile, it would be cool to compare both
Peter Hoh
I’ve got a couple of 20volt DeWalt tools. I’m really happy with them. Would love to add to the collection and try out the new battery.
Jim Holmes
I would love to get some newer lighter batteries as holding my drill over my head with a 4ah battery gets tiring. Would love to see what the newer, lighter ones can do.
Brock Nevitt
I haven’t owned anything dewalt in a long time but I’d love to see how their new stuff compares to my makita set up!
Marko Vukovic
I still own a corded drill only and a cordless one will be a nice upgrade.
Slim
Use for projects all the time. Would be interested to compare with 20v and 60v batteries in powerdetect tools
YJ
I’d give to my dad to grow his yellow gear.
Mike Cheung
I’d love to win because we toasted our Dewalt XR drill a few months back. Would absolutely love to replace it with a new one!
Luke
I have the original 20v circular saw and would love an upgrade, it’s well past it’s expiration date. 🙂 I use the 1/2″ Dewalt impact daily. I am curious how the power stack battery holds up in the real world.
Brandon Strauss
About to start building a greenhouse and would love to use this baby to speed up my cuts
