Dewalt Rolling Shop Stool

Dewalt’s rolling shop stool is on sale, today only, as part of Home Depot’s deal of the day.

Here’s our post about Dewalt’s rolling shop stool.

The stool is regularly priced at ~$109 and is on sale for $90.36. Deal ends at 3am ET 2/8/2020, unless supplies sell out sooner.

There are other garage storage and accessory deals as part of today’s promo, including Dewalt’s rack shelving-styled bench, which is priced at $104.16.

Both the stool and bench seem a little gimmicky, but have been highly and widely reviewed by users. The stool ships mostly pre-assembled, the bench requires a bit more assembly work.

Wow! Their product liability folks let them sell a four caster seating item?! Those haven’t existed in office-type seating in over 30 years! (Big propensity to tip backwards; this is why all office seating has FIVE casters). It looks more robust than most roll-around stools, although the open grid is not very helpful when trying to find a place to put small items.

There’s not a back on it, I can’t imagine most people leaning back on a stool without a back.

I’ve found most office furnishing supply vendors have a variety of star/five caster adjustable padded stools for maybe $50-60 depending on the individual market.
    Way more comfy.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought this chair about 2 or 3 years ago and loved it. I wanted to order another one about 6 months later but Home Depot stopped selling them.

You can buy this stool almost exactly the same, but green and it says Masterforce on it, from Menards for $70 regular price. During the 11% off its $62 after rebate, and it may go cheaper at times when its on sale. The Masterforce actually adjust to a lower height, and looks like it may be a bit more stout since it’s all welded and not bolted together.
