Note: Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and its affiliates are not the sponsor of this giveaway.
I recently went on a bit of a DeWALT shopping spree, and I am pumped to have more black & yellow in my personal tool kit.

I purchased a nearly full set of DeWALT XTREME 12V Max fastening tools, including their cordless drill, impact driver, screwdriver, and 5-in-1 modular drill/driver. I also expanded my DeWALT 20V Max kit with a new sander, 3-speed oscillating multi-tool, single-speed impact driver, and Atomic series 3-speed impact driver.
Only 2 of these tools are unfamiliar to me – the new 20V Max DCF840C2 impact driver (which is one of DeWALT’s featured deals right now), and the 20V Max DCS356C1 oscillating multi-tool kit (also a featured deal).
There’s one reader who is always sure to say something like: well isn’t that convenient, that you’re buying tools by the sponsoring brand. Well, yeah – why would I ever partner with brands whose tools I wouldn’t buy?
I’m pretty psyched about my new gear. I have many projects planned for 2022, and these shiny new DeWALT tools will elevate my work and experiences.

Everett S
I would spend it on a few cordless mechanics tools, maybe one of their new ratchets! As well as some lawn-care items as I recently moved into a house that requires quite a bit of leaf-wrangling.
Justin I
As someone in the commercial hvac field the 20v max impact drill and driver definitely would help me step up my tool collection to get the job done faster and better.
Wanda Golden
I would buy an impact wrench, a ratchet , a new hammer and a DeWalt radio. That is what I need. Thanks!
Diane
I would also like cordless mechanics tools. I especially need a drill since my relative borrowed mine and never returned it.
Kelley Shymkwich
Good thinking!
I would buy a miter stand for my husband!
Connor Kern
I love this I would probably go with the Mitre Saw!
Lewis
I would use the portable band saw DWM120K to make handles for the knife making hobby I’ve just started.
Ruben Z
I am a plumber apprentice and I love this career very much I really want to go far in this trade I haven’t started to buy my power tools yet but I know I’m gonna need some eventually this gift card would be a blessing.
Jordan
I would buy more of their 12v max line because I just bought their 5 in 1 drill liking it so far. It has came in handy on some my projects.
James Tyler clark
I would buy the 9in DeWalt drywall sander. I have a huge collection of DeWalt tools. This would mean a lot to my small business
Brad B.
$500 gift card should buy a nice Dewalt combo kit. Drill, impact, saws and some bits. That’s what I need. Home and auto repairs are never ending. Thank you.
Terry
Sliding miter saw, going to retread our stairs soon. Maybe a stand for it.
Chris
I’m in the ridgid ecosystem & looking to move up to either dewalt or Milwaukee. A new dewalt hammer drill would be a godsend (and maybe an impact wrench too)
Eric
I’m looking to branch out to Dewalt’s outdoor power equipment. Spring will be here before we know it.
James M. Davis
The new 12V Max tools have ergonomics that fit my hand really well. However, due to being on M12 / Flex 24 volt systems, I don’t have the money to invest in a new system. I am impressed that DeWalt has renewed focus on this battery platform. I would have probably looked seriously at this system had they increased the size of the system. At last count, I have 14 M12 tools ( 3 of them lights ). Really liking the new focus on this system. About time, DeWalt !
RDS
Probably would grab a mitre saw and stand for building some storage for our basement
Pavlo
Bought a new house couple months ago. Really need a table saw, and a router table, and a heat gun! And more 🙂
JinIN
The DeWalt mitre saw is great and is what I would add to my collection for DIY and crafting. Really also need some cordless tools for outside jobs.
Skylar Muhlestein
I would buy the automatic Caulk gun… it would make my every day life a ton easie, it’s just so dang expensive and I can’t justify not to just muscle it.
lyt
Most likely a miter saw with stand. Currently have a basic Hitachi, but looking for something nicer.
Brian Collins
That’s an easy call – the Dewalt contractor table saw and stand – DWE7491RS. Its time to make room for a table saw in my workshop.
John
Very old house here in Maine. Leveling floors, re-casing doors, plan to add some crown moulding, remodeling bathroom. I’m 80% Dewalt, but will be renting a few specialty tools (e.g. floor sander). Still, I’m short on a couple big ticket items on my wish list:
1. 12” dual bevel miter saw (dws716xps)
2. 15-gauge 20v brad nailer (dcn680b)
These two together exceed $500, but a $500 gift card would go a long way.
I’ve been waiting/hoping for some sales on these two categories of tools for what seems like a very long time. A lot of planned projects n the works!
Mutombo
I would definitely pick up the cordless tracksaw kit. It is a huge pain to maneuver full sheet goods since they can’t be ripped on the dewalt portable table saw and the bora sheet clamp tends to leave me more work than time saved. My honeydo list has an upcoming mudroom and that saw would be a joy to break down sheets.
David
The first thing on my list would be one of their 60v Max brushless chainsaws and the rest of the bits I’d need as an entrance into the system. I’ve got property with more trees now, and have been using Ryobi’s 10″ cordless chainsaw all over the place. A properly powerful brushless setup would be great for the types of tasks I’m intending to get into into the new year.
After that? I’ve wanted to try their cordless framing nailer, and their “generator” style power bank too.
jgross
I could really use that chainsaw too! Lots of tree work going on at my place
Michael
I would put it towards the dw735x, because what better lunchbox planer is there?
Buddy Eisenberg
Looking for new cordless jobsite blower to replace my antique corded model.
John Fal
I’d loved to have the new 20″ Flexvolt chainsaw coming out and the new Flexvolt atatchment capable weed trimmer. That would be awesome 🙂
IJK
Will definitely grab the new 5-in-1. Probably the automotive hood light as well. not sure what else I’ll grab after, maybe start delving into the Flexvolt line.
David Brock
cordless impact.
Rocco
The cordless track saw (DCS520) would be nice. Can’t tell you how may times this would have saved me frustration handing full sheets. I’ll add the 60v cordless grinder (DCG418) on the wishlist as well.
Hank
A cordless recip saw with pruning blade would be great for the fruit trees, and an angle grinder would save me from having to run long extension cords, or drag things to the shop. With property, it’s not hard to get out of range of the extension cords!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Alan
That’s what I’m doing anyway. Recip first and saws in general. The cord is huge problem, even a safety problem.
Tucker
For me the Flexvolt cordless hammer drill and the 20v chainsaw are both interesting.
Kokies
DCL043, they never seem to be discounted or combo-ed and I cannot justify spending $80 for a flashlight.
TC24
I’d buy a sliding miter saw (DWS779 if I can find a decent deal) or the DCS578b otherwise. A die grinder would be my second tool. Finally, I’d choose a DCC020IB if I can find one in stock. Thanks!
Rman
I would buy extra batteries Flexvolt 9ah for table saw and blower. These tools really eat up batteries quickly and replacement is costly. Can always use the tripod light as my eyes get older a necessity.
Koko The Talking Ape
I would get
– The plunge base for the DeWalt router I got, which would make it more versatile and maybe safer.
– That 6 gal. cordless wet/dry vac, because my current dust collection setup (i.e., nothing) isn’t cutting it.
– Lastly, that 8 1/4″ jobsite table saw. A table saw would make me an actual woodworker.
(I don’t know if that adds up to $500. Depends on how long the sales last.)
Thanks, Stuart!
Steve H
Up next on my DeWalt list is the flexvolt advantage hammer drill DCD999B, the new usb-c charger (Dewalt DCB094 USB), and some powerstack batteries.
Side note, I really wish DeWalt would make a hydraulic impact driver. If the ever do I will buy it the day it comes out.
Geoffrey G
I would buy a DW735 Planer as it’s something I have always wanted but could never justify purchasing since I am always “needing” other tools.
Jim Felt
Dewalt was my favorite NiCad era brand by far. Once they fell a little behind (in my perception) in the early 2000’s I donated everything to Habitat for Humanity except their bigger corded tools.
Because of Toolguyd I’ve watched them regain their position in my mind and this would be a swell opportunity to try out a number of their latest 12V tools or maybe better yet put this towards the latest Dewalt contractor table saw and stand Model DWE7491RS.
Thank you ToolGuyd!
MoogleMan3
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d use the gift card towards a 735x planer. I’ve wanted one for years now.
Rich P
I have been slowly sprucing up my 116 year old house. One of the big nits that I have to pick at is all of the mismatched and/or poorly done trim and moulding. I would like to pick up a miter saw and stand to do all of that work.
Christian F
I’d love to pick up the sliding miter saw (DWS779) and possibly the new 3/8 ratchet it comes out!
Megan Phelps
I would definitely purchase a new sander. I have been working on a ton of projects and would love an efficient way to finish them up.
James H
If still on sale I would use the shopping spree to buy 20-Volt MAX Cordless Combo Kit (7-Tool) with ToughSystem Case, (1) 20-Volt 4.0Ah Battery & (2) 20-Volt 2.0Ah Batteries. This would allow me to replace most of my current power tools that I have purchase over many years from multiple manufacturers to power tools from one manufacturer that use the same batteries and chargers.
Allan
I would put that card towards a DWS780 double bevel miter saw and a stand. Thanks for the chance to get a refresh! Happy New Year!
Chris P
Hi Stuart, after the comment by Big Richard about the new DeWalt premium compact drills (DCD 805 replacing DCD 796) I tried to find info and found this!
https://dewalt.delegateconnect.co/
Assume this event is happening very soon?
Chris P
And this
Aaron s
This is the first time I’ve seen a video show up in a comment. Is this a new feature? Does it require anything fancy to work?
Chris P
No idea how this happened! I copied the YouTube URL and pasted into my comment as plain text. After starting a new line it automatically turned into a blue hyperlink but there was no image. Video preview appeared after posting.
Jim Felt
“Oh Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz” or at least a brand new Dewalt.
Now we’re officially entering the brave new world of aim-able tool mounted LED lights! Finally something new and useful.
One. Two. Three: Milwaukee or who’ll be next?
Ryan W
Table saw and 20v oscillating multi-tool. Time for new flooring in second bedroom.
TimL
I would like to continue to “cut the cord” and get a flexvolt table saw and flexvolt non sliding miter saw to use at the cabin. I would also get the new cordless ratchet and some portable lighting for under car work. I would get the new power stack batts and the framing nailer just for fun. The 5-1 looks cool but 12v would be new. I would get a nice stand set up for the miter saw too.
josh
i would buy a dewalt auto dimming welding helmet because the welding helmet i have has a very small view window and hits my nose without a respirator. i would definitely look into one of those new cordless ratchets and battery that came out a month or so ago
Adam
I would buy the DeWalt 20v Brad nailer to finish some trim work around my house and their 20v caulk gun that I’ve had my eye on for a long time.
GregS
I would start with new atomic drill and impact driver to complement my other dewalt tools and retire my existing drill and driver that aren’t up to the same quality.
Stuart Y
Just picked up a Dewalt cordless random orbital sander and 6-1/2 circular saw at Lowe’s with this year’s specials to add to my collection.
Would probably get a reciprocating saw or jigsaw. Although that new 3/8 ratchet
Stuart, love your site…keep up the great work!
Chris
Oh boy. I don’t need any more tools (yes I absolutely do!)
Maybe a portable bandsaw and a stand for it. Or maybe extra TS2.0 boxes. A 12ah flexvolt battery would be cool for my OPE power head.
Good luck to everyone else entering!
mosh
Thanks !
I would get heated jacket my m12 sweater bought now on sale (thanks for the heads up) worthless…
new impact DCF850
new angle grinder
DCF899 Hopefully give out a update
James Vis
I would purchase a cordless circular saw with batteries as I have been looking for a good cordless circular saw for awhile now.
If there was enough left over, I would get another a nice oscillating saw or one of their higher end impact drivers.
Matt B
Decisions decisions on what to buy. I too like the 12V 5in1 – it’s more than just for around the house with the multi heads. Would pair nicely with the new 12V ratchet (finally! I almost bought a red one) preferably the extended reach if torque is on par with the regular 3/8. The 20V max inflator has been on the wish list for awhile. If anything was left over an extra battery and/or bit set would be awesome.
Could also sub out a multi-tool or reciprocating saw for the 12V drill, and the cordless hood light would get a lot of use. No such thing as too many tools, right? Haha
Chris
I’d get the miter saw I’ve been wanting and maybe a stand too
Julian Tracy
I’d buy the multi head installer set to replace the multi-flawed Milwaukee m12 version as well as the cordless hood light and maybe one of the new ratchets.
Minnesota Chris
Always wanting to get more Dewalt tools. I’m in need of an SDS drill, drywall sander and some accessories. Thanks for the opportunity
Ed
My brother in law is a builder in Alaska with homes there as well as in FL and the Caribbean and has been telling me for the past couple years to move from my Porter Cable 18V system to Dewalt 20V. His recommendation, which I trust, is to get the 20V Hammer Drill/Driver model DCD9981 and the 1/2 inch mid range impact driver DCF894M1. I have some large backyard projects in 2022 which will go much better with these two tools.
Callum
I’d like to try some of their new compact tools.
Jeff
Would love to update my Delta Miter Saw 36-355L with a Dewalt DWS780 Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw
Aaron s
I’d buy either a portable or contractor style table saw and put any remaining into toughsystem. Love the rack and pinion fence on the saw at work. If I was buying for work I’d probably get a cordless miter saw.
Tyler Heestand
I would use it towards the 10” dewalt table saw or a set of tough system boxes to compare to my 6,500$ of Packout!!
Shawn
I’d get the barrel to jigsaw and the 12v installation driver.
Jon
I have been excited to pick up additional cordless impact tools, particularly excited about the new ratchet.
Dennis H
I would invest in the new instalation driver and impact wrench. I have heard good things from both thru coworkers
Bobby
I would get a brushless hammer drill, the motor on my craftsman drill just started going out. I’ve had some bad luck with drills lately, killing 1 drill per year the past few years, including a milwaukee m12 fuel drill.
Also a circular saw, I only have a corded model and I’m getting tired of using extension cords.
Greg
I would buy a 20 volt combo.. Mine are very experienced and could use an upgrade. My old tools will make work easier in the garage because I wont have to run to the work truck for power tools.
Will L
I would definitely be looking at a Dewalt sander and router if I won!
Nick Vascello
As a Facility Maintenance tech my Toughsystem 2.0 boxes and 12 volt tools are an essential part of my day.
Dewalts Xtreme tools have been killing it lately so I’d love to continue to invest in the line and keep building my Toughsystem set-up.
Roger

-ToughSystem Drawers 3.0; including better aligned slides and drawers that don’t sag. Single, Double and Triple drawer unit (What happen to the 2.0?)

-Tstak to TS adapter
-20V BL plate jointer update
-20V BL basic vac 2.0 (Maybe TS rack mountable)
-20V 7-1/4″ mitersaw Brushless update (Lighter frame with 2/3-mode lighting)
-Flexvolt Powerstack
Erik f
I need a new impact wrench. I do alot of work on my family’s cars and would like new compact one for engine work.
Bob King
Really need a table saw! Would grab the 10″ 15A corded unit with a rolling stand – DWE7491.
SNett
I’m in need of their 102” track saw track, and could use a portable stand for my Dewalt miter saw. If there’s money left over I’d put it towards a cordless impact wrench.
matthew Snyder
I would be looking at a nice DeWalt radio and/or lawnmower. A new lawnmower would reduce hassle with my yard, and I don’t have a speaker which is good for yard or garage projects. I would have said their spot light but I just purchased one with Christmas money.
Adam
I’ve been wanting to get a planer or tablesaw for a while now, and this would go a long way towards that. Thanks for the great giveaway, as always.
Sean
I love 12v tools so I would definitely love to get some Dewalt 12v drills. The 18v stubby impact driver also looks amazing!
Tom W
I need a small store able table saw, and it would be the Dewalt DWE7485. I have a lack of storage space, and your review indicated portability as one of it’s assets.
Matt the Hoople
I need a powerful cordless drill. Figuring the 996/998/999 series hammer drill (any of them would do. Maybe the latter to get the full power benefit if I get a 60v battery some day.
Things I don’t need but want…Maybe an upgrade to the 10” portable table saw or even put it toward the Dewalt planer. Possibly a sliding compound miter saw as my current one doesn’t slide.
Laurence Vooys
I’d buy some of the 60v yard tools, specifically the edger and whacker. I might also replace my older 20v drill and driver that got me into black and yellow a few years ago as my first power tools.
Brandon B
Oh man…I’ve been dying for an XPS miter saw (even a basic one!) for years. My Ridgid is definitely on its last leg. I could just about pick up a 8 1/4 jobsite saw in the same trip, too!
Jeff
I would buy a couple sets of DeWalt Atomic drill/drivers and accessories. 2 young college aged daughters in different cities always needing to borrow one thing or another – I love their drive to do their own work, I but I miss my own stuff! Love everything DeWalt that I’ve bought..they will too!
Sam S.
The Model #DWE7491RS tablesaw would be great to go along with the Model# DWS715 miter saw I already have. Remodeling the sunporch on my house is the next project.
Ben B
Over Black Friday I got the XR compact drill and oscillating tool, flexvolt advantage grinder and compressor, and the atomic impact wrench, all for restoring a vintage RV (and hopefully moving into it next year!) I would get a flexvolt battery starter kit to boost the tools I have, plus the 20V compact vacuum, and then maybe something fun like a ratcheting wrench set!
Ross D
I would buy the DeWalt 12v version of the 12v Bosch click drill/driver with the removable heads along with the 12v of the circular saw. With the left over funds, definitely pick up the 18v router, planer, and sander to complete out my portable wood working needs.
Joe
Probably the mechanic’s tools (ratchet would be timesaver) or the sander if we’re limiting things to battery powered, otherwise I’d for sure grab one of the DWE7491RS with stand. Been wanting one of those but don’t have the scratch.
Trying to keep it to things I don’t already have. Most personal stuff is Bosch but have experience using some DeWalt at work and they do nicely there.
Steven Ingrassia
A 16g cordless nailer to match my brad nailer. I have found it to be such a convenience I’d love to have another for larger projects.
dandLyons
I am working on a boat restoration project. So far I have purchased a number of Flexvolt tools. I have the miter saw, compressor, and the dust collector in TStak case. I also have the circular saw which works amazingly well.
I would like to add a sander, router, & drill.
Amish Mike
I would purchase a Dewalt 20v max brushless leaf blower, and the 12 inch benchtop planer
Fyrfytr998
Honestly, I would use it to finally switch into an upper tier brand. Financial circumstances have always had me staying in mid tier brands. I’d love to just start over again from scratch with the newest Impact and Hammer drill offerings
anthony smith
Flexvolt chainsaw and led light
Dave
I need some high capacity 12 or 15ah flexvolt batteries because the 60v leaf mover really blows through batteries.
JOhan V
I will be buying the new rachet, and hold out for any new dewalt tools and batteries like the water, grease proof.
Mark sutliff
I would add to my 12v max collection. I just started with the 5 in 1 and am sold. Sorry to my loved worx tools. I guess I may be bi-tool curious.
Ben G
PEX Expander for me. I have an older home; a couple people in the neighborhood have had slab leaks. I’d like to replace it on my schedule, not at the whim of corrosion and time.
Eric
I’d either get the track saw or upgrade my secondhand delta planer
Mpmjr
I would go for the sliding miter saw. I have an older craftsman right now and would love the ease and the upgrade in capability the twelve inch slider would give. I just upgraded my wood working tools from neon green to dewalt and have loved the quality so far.
L
I’d put the gift card towards the DWS799 12″ compound miter saw, a stand, and maybe a blade or two if there’s any room left in the budget.
Matt S
I’ve got a number of items on my wishlist – barrel grip jigsaw for use with the coping foot for a bunch of trim I have to do, probably a couple more flexvolt batteries, and I’d like to give the new mechanics ratchets a try so I can have one less reason to keep the big compressor around.
Jerry
Could always use more power tools. Not sure yet what id get, but it would be easy to come up with $500 worth.
Spencer Wurm
I would buy the new 850 impact And a circular saw. Thanks for the chance to win.
John
I would probably get a sliding chopsaw, or maybe their contractor table saw.
DrDoug
Time to replace my old 14.4V Dewalt drivers!
Sean Lorenzen
Smaller Mechanics portable tool kit to stow in my offroad and overland vehicle. Small cordless air compressor for the same purpose
Derek
Wow, super generous of you and Dewalt.
Being as I just added more 20v batteries and unfortunately an impact wrench (dang cars) I would probably add the multi-tool for our big flooring project and the 12v installer driver + a drill for my woodworking. Or maybe just blow it all on the 735x planer and sell mine for the above tools.
Perhaps I should make a new doghouse so I have somewhere to sleep.
Alex
Batteries never hurt, but I’m definitely looking at some attachments for my new weedwacker. Maybe even that new 60v hedge trimmer or 20″ chainsaw. Their new standalone 20v edger is also intriguing. Would love to win!
Josh Pittman
I would use it to buy a Craftsman 20v 6A battery or two & a sander. Probably a compound slide miter saw 12”. Because I am starting my own construction business and have tools just need more always as we all knw. I have the 20v impact, drill, sawsall, & vib tool just need more batteries and more tools.
DRT42
Surprised to read another poster mention Dewalt welding helmets. I need a new one! Would definitely check out Dewalt.
Marlene Steinberg
Sliding miter saw (DWS779) to replace my regular mitre saw that “walked away”. from my garage.
Rich G
Would be the 20V MAX* XR® 15 GA CORDLESS ANGLED FINISH NAILER for me, looking to go battery with my nailers.
Thomas Gibson
I would get a few power drills for my uncle and my father.
Lisa P.
I would buy an air compressor, not sure which one, as they have a number to choose from. The air compressor would be used for tire inflation and to power tools. I would also like the DXGP210 27 CC 2-CYCLE 10 IN. GAS POLE SAW WITH ATTACHMENT CAPABILITY. There is a lot of brush and overgrown trees that need to be trimmed around the yard, so this would be really useful. I was surprised they offered a gas powered one, since everything is trending to battery powered.
Joel
I would buy a Dewalt sliding compound miter saw. I have several Dewalt cordless tools, including a circular saw. However, the power miter saw would be faster and more accurate for cutting trim.
Joshua K.
Anything to further my tool collection for my ever expanding woodworking hobby. The top of my list would be a DWS735, followed by the 20v trim router, and any 12v tool. I love my 12v hex screwdriver and would like more of that line.
Kevin
I’d put it towards the 120v flexvolt 12″ miter saw, would be great to replace my old radial arm saw (also a DeWalt, funnily enough)
Rich
Most of my existing cordless tools are dated and this would be a great opportunity to retool and get into the Dewalt battery platform.
annette campbell
I would buy a new drill! I find myself needing one almost once a week! This would be awesome!
EC
I would buy an oscillating multi-saw. It would make my next project of replacing molding easier. I would also get a new reciprocating saw upgrade.
Gordon
I think the Atomic tools with a powerstack battery might be the best bang for pound on the market. But I’d probably buy a track saw. It’s just too useful to ignore.
Victor Echeverria
I’m comming off an auto accident where I lost several tools and now that I’m recovering I would get a combo kit to get me started
Scott F
Honestly… I feel I am too far invested into the Milwaukee platform to think about this from a cordless perspective. A 12″ dual bevel sliding miter might be nice though… Remainder would probably buy a blade or a small tool gift to my father who is in the DeWalt ecosystem.
Jason
Any of the brushless tools since I use everyday for work. Dewalt battery tools are all I use.
Ryan F
I’d love to get my hands on the atomic 3/8″ impact, dcf923. Maybe pair it with a powerstack battery when they are released.
Andrew W
I need more 60v tools… probably add the recip saw and grinder to my circ saw (which I love). Well I don’t need… but I kinda do? Also want some of the 12v tools- installation driver mostly. Still not sold on the size of the 20v ratchet, but if it’s on a gift card maybe one of those instead.
Leo B.
I’d put the money towards a planer! If not that, then whatever my friend who runs DeWalt wants. I appreciate the opportunity to win, and I’m looking forward to the review on that modular drill!
angela heerde
I would like the Dewalt DCL043 flashlight. Its expensive but, nice and useful, I would love to have this item.
David Huerta
My father always had a collection of tools that he used for work and personal purposes and I never really thought anything of it until after I moved out. Now I am a college student who doesn’t have the means to purchase tools even though I really want to since I now want to make things.
I’ve recently picked up wood working as a hobby mostly for at home projects (tv stand, bed frame, etc) but I would really like to improve my skills to do more projects and gift my friends and family things that i can say i made (like a cutting board, coat rack, hanging bench, coffee table etc. ) I only have a drill, impact and circular saw. I would like to get a router, orbital sander, multi tool and possibly a miter saw.
Dana
I too would invest in the DeWALT XTREME 12V Max fastening tools
Herb Britt
I would purchase a new flexvolt SDS Max drill for driving ground rods during breaker panel installs.
MarkC
I am interested in the 12v new ratchets and stubby impact wrench. Ergonomics and weight are my reasons for 12v tools.
Stacey Jones
I’d get the 120v dual bevel compound miter saw because I’m getting into hobby woodworking.
Lynyrd
Thanks for the Giveaway – what better way to start a new year.
I’d have to use the opportunity to apply it towards the 15 Amp Corded 13 in. Heavy-Duty 2-Speed Thickness Planer with (3) Knives, In Feed Table and Out Feed Table (DW735X). If not that, I’d use it for a woodworking combo kit such as 20-Volt MAX Cordless Combo Kit (6-Tool) (DCK694P2).
AllenN
I would purchase a table saw and a belt sander. Building some new furniture for the baby room.
Todd N
I would purchase the compact impact driver, the cordless sander, 20v stapler, maybe the 16g 20v nailer. I travel with my tools for work and having the compact items allows me to bring more of what I need to build exhibits.
Joe S
Would love to upgrade my Porter cable 20v max tools… They have served me well but I have been looking to upgrade when the time was right!
Thanks for all you do at ToolGuyd! Happy new year!
A-A-Ron
I’d definitely go for a planer, to compliment my router, scroll saw, etc. I’ve been looking forward to building up my woodworking skills. Thank you and Happy New Year Stu!
Evan Dickerson
I own quite a bit of dewalt tools, 3 impact drivers, 1/2 impact, hammer drill, grease gun, 4000 psi pressure washer, 4″ corded grinder, 12v impact driver, electric wire staple gun, oscillating tool, drywall cutout tool, lots of drill bit and driver bit packs. I’m probably forgetting some of the power tools.I think my next purchase is going to be a laser level, speaker, flood light
DML
I want to pick up one of those Atomic impact drivers and I also want to get a 20V 1/2 impact wrench for high-torque applications.
HiggiML
For myself, the next items on my list are 20V router, FlexVolt compound miter saw & table saw. Since I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, I’d probably get a few impact drivers for some folks so they could finally stop borrowing mine 🙂
Yik Wing Shum
I would like to add the nails guns or the caulk gun to my DeWalt collection.
Joe L
If I were to win it would go towards Dewalt outdoor power equipment.
Mike Ceranski
I am in the market for a mitre saw, but I also have some harbor freight tools that I am looking to replace like my oscillating saw, angle grinder and jigsaw. When I started woodworking a couple years ago I bought some starter tools and I have slowly been upgrading.
Michelle H.
My husband wants a drill set, so that it what I would get.
Steve Cecil
Would definitely be shopping for garage storage. I think Dewalt has had a pretty good track record of consistency and high quality. We have just moved and I had to get rid of all of my large tools and storage options. Would love to do it right with DeWalt.
John Blair
I would buy my brother-in-law the Oscillating tool he has been borrowing from me. My daughter would get a sander to go along with the Impact Driver, Drill/Driver and Jig Saw I already have for her. Anything left would go to random hand tools like socket sets, bit sets etc. The only Dewalt cordless tool I don’t have that I can imagine using is the cordless router. Best wishes to whoever wins.
Iron-iceberg
I have been wanting the cordless table saw for a long time. I really need an early portable saw for trim work. I just haven’t had the scratch to pick one up.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Sam
Dewalt DCR028B bluetooth radio. A portable radio that uses power tool batteries – pretty great stuff. Also, a green cross line laser (DW088LG) because after trying a $30 entry level Bosch I’m a huge fan of lasers now.
BRENT B
I would like to buy their router
Gino V
I would get a reciprocating saw to aid in future demo and a miter saw
Samantha Jones
A basic drill set. I thought we had one, but we tried to hang some things recently and realized we definitely don’t.
Lyle
I have all but 2 of the tools you showed in that picture, I probably shouldn’t be entering the contest. I’m a big fan of the Dewalt 12v line, so I might look into picking up the missing pieces. Seriously, I basically buy every Dewalt tool that I think I can use, but I’m really looking forward to seeing the new battery technology. I’ve standardized on the small 2.0Ah batteries for my drills and impactors, 5.0Ah batteries for basically everything else, and 6.0Ah Flexvolt batteries for the Flexvolt tools. I’d really like to standardize on the new batteries once they are available across the various tool ranges. The only battery they have out now would be a really good replacement for the 2.0Ah, and while it looks like it provides similar power to the 5.0Ah, it won’t have the same run time. I think the 5.0Ah equivalent is going to be quite expensive to replace for me since I have like 8 or 9 of them now.
Evan
I’d definitely buy the DWE7491RS 10 inch table saw or the DW735x planer. I’ve build plenty of projects from framing lumber but I’d like to get into some nicer planed and jointed projects!
Peter Machado
I would get dewalts cordless router and orbital sander. The router and sander that i have now are on it’s way out (old & can barely keep up).
Andrew L
I would buy a DW735 Planer — but wait for a sale first!
Lily Kwan
I would get the DEWALT DXGN14000 for backup power during blackouts.
kelly tupick
I would spend it on a cordless drill as it’s something i need and use all the time.
Javier Urtubia
I am looking to learn how to timber frame and would love to get a DW735. I think a thickness planer would be very useful to me. I’m also a big DeWalt fan. I just picked the DCF850 impact driver and it’s really awesome! I could also use a new hammer drill. Oh and the batter power dust collector. I really want one of those.
Luscious
A router and a table saw are at the top of my upcoming purchases list. Experimenting in wood working would go to the next level!
heather noble
I need a saw and sander to finish my deck
Popgun42
I work in my shop every day, retired. At my age smaller, lighter tool like Dewalt 12 volt extreme would be my choice. I have 18 volt but 12 would be great.
GAC
Jonesing for a 1/2 inch impact. Tired of draging an air hose arround.
Bryan B
I do woodworking so I would get the a sander and drill, for sure.
Jeremy G
I would buy some of the new Power Stack batteries. I’m getting ready to start a big remodel project and need some extra energy storage options.
John T
Nail guns
Jason. W
i’d look for a lower end miter saw.
Thomas K Wells
I would buy the finish nail guns and complete the 20v set I already have
AlexK
I just used the dewalt small sliding miter saw for the first time during a kitchen cabinet install. All the cabinets were in a trailer and I had to cut 1×4”s to screw into the tops to attach molding to. That little saw was spot on accurate, and the battery lasted all day. It was raining that day and to not need an extension cord was great. I’d get that saw, and if anything was left over, I’d get the random orbital sander. The router is real nice too.
E
I always wanted cordless DW circular saw, and any DW cordless power tool kits.
AW
My brother in law was showing off his dewalt mechanics tool set, and also the orbital sander, both would have a place in my garage!
Mason
Id be going with a cordless planer, the small toekick saw, the big sawzall, and a quick charger
Linda Gilbert
My husband loves DeWalt tools, so I would give him the gift card. It would put a big smile on his face and it would make my day. Thank you!
EL
I would start with the DeWalt max blower since I am totally lacking one, and could really use it.
Adam Aakre
I would definitely buy the dewalt impact wrench. Dcf899. That would be more convenient than pulling an air hose around the farm for the air impact. I would also buy a grease gun 579 to make greasing easier.
Anita Corrow
I would get the 20-Volt Max Cordless Combo Kit. It has everything I would need for use around the home. The drill/driver is very much needed as I do not have one and of course I always seem to need it for various stuff in the home. The impact driver would be beneficial for use on my vehicles along with the wet/dry vac. The combo kit would be the perfect fit for my needs
Dave the brave
I would get the dewalt cordless table saw
Tim Hendrix
I would buy a few more desalt tools like the portable circular saw to complete my basic tool set. Thank you.
cafo
The compact impact driver with the powerstack
Mick
Oh, I could definitely use a sliding mitre saw and add some 12v to my shop. My old Delta mitre is on its last leg.
Clay
First thing I would get is a Dewalt stand for my upgraded DWS779 to replace the underwhelming Harbor Freight stand I have been using.
I would also love to try out the Powerstack batteries and I would definitely grab one of the new cut-off tools.
Michelle Johnson
I would get the cordless table saw.
Roger Nusbaum
I would get a compound miter saw. The guard broke on my old (cheap) saw and you can’t order a replacement guard for it. Home Depot is my closest store.
Jim Stewart
I would buy as many dewalt cordless tools as I can. I am getting started in woodworking and that would help me to get started.
conor
I’d use it for a DW735. Thanks for the generosity!
John S.
I own a lot of dewalt now so I would use this to get the new 12v stuff. I’d also like to try that new ratchet they’re rolling out.
Rob
I would spend it on a planer for my growing woodshop. Thank you for organizing this!
Anthony
I need a drill and pole saw.
Garelyn Williams
DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Drill/Driver, Compact
Kassie Foss
I would buy a miter saw to add to my collection so I could finish up some remodeling of the basement and trim!
Kathy Persons
My son had a miter saw on his Christmas list That would be the first thing
Matt B
The 5in1 drill would go nicely with the new 12v ratchet extended reach. 20v portable inflator has been on the list awhile. Add an extra battery or a bit kit if there’s anything left over.
The underhood work light, a reciprocating saw, multi-tool, or 2gal wet/dry vac also make the list as options!
Norse
I think I would use the gift card for a flexvolt blower and chainsaw. Or a radio. Or a concrete drill. There are just too many good options!
Eric Culver
I would buy a cordless drill
T. Weiland
I think I would get a new mitre saw since my current one is on its last leg!
Sherri Sawvell
I would purchase a portable table saw to use for trim work and power miter saw. Thank you
Dan
DEWALT Thickness Planer, Two Speed, 13-Inch (DW735)
I’m a full time mech engineer and the rest of my time is dad/home repair/DIY. I enjoy buying tools, but the thickness planer is too expensive for the few times a year I’d use it.
I would not complain if one appeared on my doorstep.
pat lambert
With all this extra time at home and some new compact tools I could tyackle a lot of projects on my to do list!
Brien
Oh man, so many tools! The first tool would have to be the 60V flex volt worm style saw. I have a garage project coming up and I think using this saw would be easier on me than my trusty 6-1/2 circular saw. $250
Next would be the new 20V edger that Dewalt just announced that would be released this spring. I have been waiting for them to put one of those together for a long time. $150
Last, I have had my eye on the Dewalt gravity fed HVLP sprayer for a while now. I want to spray the cabinets I build with laquer using this gun. $100
Or I would blow it all on the 20” chainsaw they will be releasing this spring!
Marilyn Wons
A cordless drill would help with making holes in boards for my furniture projects. A cord is so cumbersome, plus I need to be near an outlet. Cordless would make me smile while working.
Scott K
Wow- this is a really generous giveaway! I would love to cut the cord on my random orbit sander and I would get a lot of use out of the modular driver. The DWE7485 is also near the top of my list. I’d use these for a mix of home improvement jobs as well as woodworking projects. Maybe I would skip the sander and upgrade a bunch of my drilling/driving/cutting accessories…good luck to all.
Jim S.
I’d definitely grab their Atomic series 3-speed impact driver.
Cheryl Shields
I would get the Brushless Cordless 2-Tool Combo Kit because it would help me to finish some work around the house.
Staci Thompson
I am a single mom and will be moving to a new home soon, so if I were to win I would buy an assortment of tools that every household needs. I would buy a cordless screwdriver, flashlights, a sander, and an oscillating tool.
James Stringham
I would buy the Dewalt 20-Volt MAX Cordless Combo Kit (7-Tool) with ToughSystem Case to replace the Dewalt 18-Volt Combo Kit (4-Tool) I purchased in 1998. The tools are still going strong, but batteries are becoming harder to find (and the batteries I have don’t last very long.
Reijo
A miter saw is the next thing on my list to add to my garage workshop, would love to get the DeWalt one.
Marco
I have everything I need. I would buy 2-3 cordless tool kits and donate it to trade students that are poor and don’t have anything to start.
Emery Gray
I’ve got a pretty good tool setup, but I’d but a new impact driver.
Will
Flexvolt chainsaw and/or blower to maintain lots of trees on property.
Josh Maple
I really need a chainsaw and trimmer.
LynneMarie
This is one of the items I’d use it for because I’m a single woman who buys a lot of put together furniture and trying to do it by hand is getting harder now that I’m in my late 50’s and developing arthritis in my hands and fingers.https://www.amazon.com/Dewalt-DCD771C2-Cordless-Lithium-Ion-Compact/dp/B00ET5VMTU/
Nichol T
I would buy a jigsaw
mattd
I have started getting into wood working over the last year and would LOVE a planer. Dewalt is pretty much the standard for workshop planers so I would definitely grab one of those.
CountyCork
Next year as soon as the ground thaws I will be adding a perimeter fence to the homestead. The one dewalt 20v tool that would really come in handy for a project like this is a 12″ or 10 inch miter, preferably a 12″. A new deck is in order also so that would be my next big project. The cordless aspect would be great for the perimeter fence for sure. Happy New Year Stuart and Toolguyd readers!
Greg
The cordless tracksaw kit and PEX expander.
Raymond Langer
I am fixing the inside of my living room that needs to be updated with new flooring and expaning my living room. One tool i would buy is the 3-speed oscillating multi-tool, since it is so versitile. ANother tool is a reciprocating saws all that will come in handy for demolition.
Tracy
The sander and 3-speed oscillating multi-tool. I don’t have either of these.
David
Could really use the dewalt table saw.
Jerrick
I’d get a 10″ compact table saw or one the new 20v compact impact wrenches. Wait a minute, I’d also really like a 15 gauge cordless nailer for some renovation projects I am helping my mother-in-law with.
Happy New Year to all!
monique s
It would be a set of cordless tools as I am looking to do more DIY projects and woodworking
Tatiana J
I would purchase the Dewalt 20v cordless toolset. It would definitely come in handy for a lot of backyard projects I would like to work on.
Randolph R
I am getting ready to retire from the military and looking to start a handyman business. Need a few more tools in my collection, so if I win I’d get a Dewalt miter saw and stand, extra blades and a Dewalt sander. I also enjoying woodworking so these will come in handy for both business and hobby.
MikeC
FIrst thanks to Stuart for the as always superb holiday season deal coverage; has fueled my tool addiction for many years…. 😉
For the shopping spree, my next Dewalt target items are:
(1) 20v green laser level, 3×360
(2) Corded router for router table (to complement existing 20v cordless trim router)
(3) 735x planer
(4) Quad fast charger
(5) More 9ah Flexvolt batteries
Good luck to all!
christineL
I really need basic tools like a hammer different screw drivers a light weight drill different wrenches and pliers nail gun also would be most useful
Tim Jackson
I would love to replace several devices that have been on the verge of failure for some time.
Chris Kaufman
I’d probably see what tools I need for my next project. I have a cordless driver/drill and impact wrench. The sander looks nice. Maybe a cordless saw.
Andrew
Table saw, don’t have one yet, but could use one
Sandy Cain
The first thing I’d go for would be the DeWALT Atomic 20V Max cordless drill/driver kit. Its just my brother and me, now, and his disability prevents him from using any sort of power tool. I’ve relied on DeWalt for years, and know they they always meet my expectations – and go beyond! I’m a woman who’s in charge now of updating our home, and DeWalt hand tools are perfect – even for my smaller hands.
Craig A
I’d order one of the impact drivers and one of the full size drill/drivers since I don’t have any of those on a different platform.
Susan L Biddle
I’d put it towards the DeWALT 20V MAX 10 Tool Combo Kit!
Chris A.
The 20V Max DCS356C1 oscillating multi-tool kit
Candace Bond
I would let my husband pick what he needs, but I need a new sander for my projects
Joe K
I would buy the impact drill
Corey Moore
I’d pick up the new atomic impact driver and wrenches, or replace my XR deepcut portaband. I had to un-pinch the rear blade travel area after it went under the truck during a rollover, and while it’s still working admirably over a year later, I feel like the wheel tracking is off and doesn’t seem to respond to adjustments lol
Jack Palmer
I would like to buy the sawsall and sander thanks
Aaron La'Gere
I’d get the combo kit and pay the difference I think.
Eric B
My top item would be the 735x Planer. I’ve been in the market for one for quite a while, but is just a bit outside of my price range for the time being.
Brian
I think I would order the oscillating saw and a couple of extra batteries – about to start some sheetrock work in a few weeks and I think that would be useful…
Laura B Yeates
The cordless chainsaw is pretty sweet
Steve Heinlein
I need a new drill
Prkl8r
I am torn between a new circular saw and designating my corded one to a sled with an edge guide or a nice hammer drill.
Sam

Aura Reynolds
I would get the Dewalt cordless combo kit!
Larry Fullhart, II
20V MAX* 550 psi Cordless Power Cleaner Kit.
Adam B
I’ve been on a Dewalt buying binge lately too and have most of the basics. That being said, I’d like to eventually add the sliding miter saw, the 60v 7-1/4″ circular saw, the DCLE34030GB laser level, the 18ga narrow crown stapler, and possibly one or two of the 60v pieces of yard equipment (and batteries).
G Greene
I’d start with the new underhood light, as I spend a lot of time under hoods.
Davene a Bennett
I WOULD BUY THE 20V Max DCF840C2 impact drive SO MY HUSBAND CAN FIX OUR CAR WITH EASE!!!
April
I would buy a new cordless impact because I really need a new one!
Charles
I would get the Dewalt cordless table saw.
Trever Meenen
I would start off with a large tool set and also get me some wireless power tools to help me around the house.
Sean
I’d like to get the 20v band saw, new drill, and track saw. I think the band saw would be very useful for metal work and the track saw is a tool I’ve wanted for a very long time.
Janet Ford
I would start with new battery operated drills. Mine need replaced from 10+ years of use.
Clarence Hitchings
I would buy all flexvolt tools. I love the power and durability.
jonahk
Definitely the new 1/2″ impact, the 3/8′ ratchet, and as many of the new powerstack batteries as I can carry!
Hollie Jahnke
I would buy a cordless drill for all of our remodeling projects we have planned around the house.
Travis Girten
I would get the 20v angle grinder for the tile project I am about to do. The sander for the doors I need to prep for paint. The 60v chainsaw due to living in a heavily wooded area. If I had any left over, I might pick up a 20v jig saw. The list goes on and on.

TRAVIER S
First thing would be a new miter saw or planer.
Bill Strobel
I would spend the gift card on some of DeWalt’s new Atomic 20V mechanics tools like the DCF922B and the DeWalt cordless ratchets. Both are out of my price range right now.
Lloyd Olk
We have a workshop in the apartment complex where I live. Would love to donate some DeWalt tools for the handymen(women) residents to use in the shop!
Reese Connor Brinkley
Ooh I’d like to get myself a power washer or some general tools
Andy Ringsmuth

One of the cordless circular saws, a cordless grinder, or maybe skip all that and go for a nice table saw.
Keifer

Ann Fantom
If I won, I would buy my husband the DeWALT 20 MAX* XR Brushless High Torque 1/2″ Impact Wrench
Tom P
I’m stuck in the Craftsman Nextec ecosystem, having been abandoned by Sears. I am moving towards Dewalt though since it seems to have the best combination of carpentry tools and outdoor power equipment for me.
I would use the gift card on the 20v chainsaw kit and probably grab an atomic drill for cabinetry builds. I already sprung for the new atomic impact and some other tools over the holidays, so I think that would round out my set well. If I had any money left over I would get some powerstack batteries.
Geoff Cole
I need a table saw and a new oscillating tool.
D. Owen
I would buy the impact driver as I just recently started my Dewalt collection.
James Ouzts
I am trying real hard not buy that 5 in 1 dill/driver because I don’t have a specific use for it right at this very moment but it tough because I’ve had plenty of times in the past where it would have done a job better than anything else I had. That and having a good table saw are where a gift card would go.
Paul B
Could use the Dewalt 20V Max cordless Drill
Robert Boudreau
I would buy the atomic 20v 1/2 impact wrench.I only have an air impact now and would like to get a cordless impact for tire rotations and car maintenance.
Joe
Missed out on the DCD999 hammer drill combo kit with the impact driver during black Friday. Would be awesome to get that.
robert j andersch
I would go to either Home Depot or Lowes and decide at that time which items to purchase. My son is an HVAC tech and could always use replacement tools (he has many Dewalt tools) and my son in law is always adding to his array of Dewalt tools as well. As for myself I would definitely replace my drill.
Mark sutliff
Oops, don’t click the email updates link. Haha
Stuart

Liz N.
I’d get the 20-Volt MAX Cordless Combo Kit (7-Tool) with ToughSystem Case, (1) 20-Volt 4.0Ah Battery & (2) 20-Volt 2.0Ah Batteries because it would be a great starter kit for my new home garage and will keep me busy in the workshop!
Albert
Thanks for the chance! I’d buy a 20V reciprocating saw ( one handed or full size…or both with $500!) I have a plug in one that I really like but every time I use it I wish it was battery powered.

Tom Bellamy
20V Max DCF840C2 impact driver
Michelle Garrity
I would buy their cordless drill with bits. I always have to borrow my neighbor’s!
Lawson
Cordless oscillator would be the first choice for me. I would also have need for a smaller vacuum too. My corded vac is just too large for some jobs. Also, a compact impact driver as I found out just how convenient it would be recently compared to the one I own. A quarter sheet sander would also be helpful. As a bonus, I would have to seriously consider a cordless compound miter saw, my corded model is just too large to move into and out of some jobs. Especially those with stairs involved.
Saulac
I need a drive to stay with Dewalt, honestly. And staying with Dewalt is something that I really want to do. Started with the 18v system long long time ago. Transitioned to the 20v system because I appreciated the fact that Dewalt is the only manufacturer that made the 18v-20v adapter. Greatly expanded on the 20v system. But lately, I found myself buying M12 more and more. This would be a chance for me to explore, and hopefully reasons to stay with Dewalt via the 12v line and Atomic line. I also appreciate that Dewalt is the only manufacturer (?) that make some tools that work with both 12v and 20v battery. I think Dewalt is the only manufacturer that has the interface that would allow a tool work with all 3 battery lines 12/20/60. Even something simple as a work light would be benefit from this. Paired with 12v batteries to be compact and light, paired with a 60v batteries to stay on for weeks. I would start with the 12V mechanic tools, the impacts and wrenches, and some outdoor 60v.
Mike Warren
I need a new Drill…my Dewalt is 25 years old
Eric
I’d buy a new impact wrench to replace my underpowered junker I have now.
Steve Capell
I would purchase DEWALT 60V MAX Circular Saw. My circular saw has seen better days.
BeckD
First, I would buy the brushless, cordless 20 inch 5.0AH Chain Saw Kit. We have a lot of storms, and a lot of trees come down during them. And I would get the Brushless Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver with Integrated Bluetooth. I can never find my current drill when I need it. Waste too much time looking.
Graham
I would purchase DCF883M2, DCF887P1 and DCF911B (all impact drivers for sockets) If there was money left over I would buy some of the impact sockets they sell.
Thanks
Dave Johnson
I would upgrade some of my older dewalt tools. I would get a combination of some new 20V power tools along with some hand tools like hammer, crowbar etc. Pickup a couple of extra batteries and a shop light.

Dennis Murphy
I would purchase an upgrade to a DeWALT 20v kit .

RK
Got my eyes on the sliding miter saw DWS779 or the DCF923 impact wrench. I like the speed control in their new impact wrenches. Hog ring only for me!
itsgalf
I have quite a few 20V tools. I could use:
12V Screwdriver
12V Impact
12V Multi-Head Driver
Maybe try out a FlexVolt tool
If Dewalt comes out with something like the M12 Hatchet that would be great too.
Penny Knowlton
I need to start a multipurpose tool box to use for home repairs and upkeep. I definitely need a screwdriver, drill and vise. I need something lightweight but powerful and Dewalt tools will be perfect.
Michael Jean
I would buy a orbital sander and caulking gun plus batteries.

Don’t use a sander to get rid of it. Use a garden sprayer filled with water and a 14” drywall knife. Put adhesive carpet protecter on the floor, and drape the walls with plastic, to contain the mess. It’s not as tough as people make it sound.
Scott Davis
I could use a new pair of double cuts for work. I don’t use them enough to justify buying them. I would use the remaining amount towards a new table saw.
Darlene Comeaux
I need to get a cordless impact drill to use if and when I get a flat.
Matt F
I just got the DCF850B Atomic Impact Driver, DCF921B 1/2″ Atomic Impact Wrench, and DCH172B Compact SDS.
I would buy the 5 in 1 12v driver, maybe the atomic 3/8″ atomic impact, and dust collection for the compact SDS (I use a suction based adapter for on a hepa vac but it is cumbersome). I would like to buy a quiet 12v impact driver, but that doesn’t exist yet.
Will
I’d put it towards a dewalt generator.
Toua Yang
This is great!! I would purchase a sliding miter saw and possibly a stand to go with it. I have a small handyman construction business so that would add to the one miter saw I have already. Extra batteries are always great too.
Jayne Lyall
I would buy Xtreme 12V Max Drill & Impact Combo Kit because I don’t have a drill.
sandra burns

KYRA GORSKI

Dave the tool
I am pretty well covered in Dewalts 20v lineup however their new ratchets have sparked interest with me. Also wouldn’t mind trying some of the 60v flex volt tools.
Steven
The 20 v chainsaw looks interesting to me.
Johnny K
Definitely the sander, which will be my first Dewalt battery tool.
Joe R.
Honestly, for my kids who I started out on yellow & black branded items. I’m a Makita guy and I don’t have a workshop or a garage large enough for any new battery formats.
I sincerely hope that somebody who really needs it wins and thanks Stuart for your generosity.
James Graham
I would get a new cordless drill and a circular saw. Then I don’t have to worry when my son wants to borrow mine.
Colin W
My little remodeling company is growing and we’re hiring a new guy. New guy would look great with a new set of yellow tools, but let’s be honest, I’ll keep them and he’ll get the old ones.
Alyssa McAdams
Im a single woman and i dont have a basic drill. I would love to have one and learn how to use it so i dont have to keep putting up curtains with a screwdriver!
Michelle G
I’d probably purchase a nice power tool set. Nice to have a variety of tools handy for when you need them … drill, driver, sander, circle saw. Other than that a new Miter Saw or Table Saw would be nice.
Charles D White
I would buy an edger, a line trimmer, a hedge trimmer, a blower, a cordless drill set.
Jacqueline
I would start with the 5-in-1 drill, then see what other tools I can upgrade. I’ve only been able to afford walmart tools and their cordless batteries don’t last very long at all.
Paul
I’ve had Dewalt drill/drivers that I used at work and at home. Currently I use Milwaulkee at work and Makita at home. It would be nice to try the Dewalt again and see how Dewalt performs.
Carol Clark
DeWalt premium compact drills I’d buy that I need a new drill
OldDominionDIYer
I would love their 1/4 sheet sander, it’s got corners! (DCW200D1 20V MAX XR Cordless 1/4 sheet variable speed sander kit) and while I’m at it I would definitely jump on a cordless miter saw like the DWS779, 12 IN. Double-bevel sliding compound miter saw. I would probably spring for the Compact Miter Saw Stand
DWX724 to give my new miter saw a home and that would set me up just great! I can use the cordless miter saw for some upcoming projects where it would be way more convenient to have the saw nearby and the 1/4 sheet sander well because it has corners!
Melissa Mazzur
I would buy the 9in DeWalt drywall sander for lots of upcoming projects
jo

Stacy M
I need a new hand sander and a new drill.
Megan Elizabeth
I’d by a witless drill kit to be able to do most of the stuff around the house on my own that needs to be hung or secured.
Marty Jenkins
I think I’d go a little crazy and buy myself the DeWalt 20v Max 7 tool lithium ion cordless combo kit. I’ve been hired on the newest job to gut and remodel a mobile home and boy, it’s a job and a half! Imagine how much easier this quality tool kit would make the job! Phew! It’s a remodelers dream!
Katie Rose
My husband would be most interested in my buying 1/2″ electric impact gun. So, probably that first thing. Then the 3/8″ to go with it is next on his list.
Katie Rose
oops! as for why, because he’d find it useful while working on cars.
Jim Jardine
For sure the 5-in-1 multi-tool, the ability to tighten a fastener in tight spaces/along a panel is something I am looking for.
parmens
I would use it for a 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 1/4 Sheet Variable Speed Sander, as sanding furniture is the project work I find myself most often doing these days

Gene Pitrowski
I would love to rep!ace my 18 v trim and brad nailer that I use trimming many of my jobs.
Etienne
I would either go with the DWE7491RS table saw or DW735 planer. The latter after my spouse thought adding bleach to dehumidifier tank in my pseudo shop was a good idea. Still trying to get all the rust off my otherwise awesome older Ridgid planer….
A W
I have a DeWalt Table Saw and Compound Miter Saw, and I have most of my other needs met with Cordless Milwaukee, or with Bosch / Makita corded tools. So it would probably be a Planer or a Track Saw. Of the two, I have a guide that works with my current corded saw as a makeshift track saw, but a full size planer is almost impossible to replicate, so I think the 735x planer would be what I would buy.
TJ Young
I’d get the cordless coil roofing nailer. Have a big siding to do and with some of the adapters I’ve seen for it it would make the job a lot easier.
S Riches
i could use a cordless reciprocating saw.
Betsy
So many wonderful choices. The automatic Caulk gun would be so useful!
Amanda Pitts

Abigail Gibson
I would buy a DW735 Planer as it’s something I have always wanted but could never justify purchasing
Eric B.
So many things. I could use the 20v heat gun right now to try and thaw out my gutters. Our house only has rain water harvesting for water. Automatic caulking gun, switch to Dewalt string trimmer, blower, chainsaw to get those on same battery platform as my other tools. Really want the flex volt mitre saw to come back out.
Chrystal D
I’d get a Miter saw because it would help me make some REALLY cool crafts!
Theresa F
I have a bunch of old hand me down tools that no one else wanted. I would love to buy some new basic tools and label them with my name. Among them would be a power drill too.
Sara Zielinski
I would buy a cordless drill because I do not have one yet, and some batteries to go with it.
Paul Gonzales
Would buy a big combo kit!
Tim Cheever
I would get a LOT of use out of the Dewalt contractor table saw and stand (DWE7491RS)
Jonah G
Probably the 20V drill/driver kit and a stand for my DW735. That and extra batteries.
Alan Budman
I’d buy the Sliding miter saw. I just bought a house and it would be a great help.
Angelica
Wow, this is such an awesome give! I would buy the 3-speed oscillating multi-tool if I win! Our old 12V Bosch won’t hold a charge anymore and the batteries don’t exist, all of my tools could use an upgrade but my multi-tool is the one the desperately needs replaced!
Tim

For my husband’s birthday in January, would buy a cordless drill set
Stewart
I need the shop vac and one of the compact tables saws for the new house I’m moving to.
MattW.
Running Ryobi nailers now due to them being half the price. It would be nice to have only one battery charger and a framing nailer. I need to replace the ryobi 18g and get a dewalt framing nailer to complete the list of useful tools. Its silly to have another platform for just 1 tool in the van.
Laura C.
It would have to be either 12 IN. DOUBLE-BEVEL SLIDING COMPOUND MITER SAW or 8-1/4 IN. COMPACT JOBSITE TABLE SAW
Pavlo
Bought a new house couple months ago. Really need a table saw, and a router table, and a heat gun! And more 🙂

Phil
I’d probably either go a miter saw stand and some corded tools or a track saw kit.
Pete
I am 90% DeWalt and 50% on the 20V XR. It’s time for a new table saw. The old Ryobi is about to bite the dust and only good for ripping 2x4s. I close my eyes and see a brand new DeWalt table saw with the gift card Stewart will send me.
Shari Klyn
Well my ex-husband took all the tools when he left so the first thing that I am needing most is a ladder. That’s what I would buy first.
Frank Engelhardt
I would replace my aging and inferior tools from a competing brand with Dewalt’s 5-in-1 modular drill/driver a new sander and more.
Paul Grant

Derek
Oh man, I need that sander specifically… I have the corded one right now, and wore out the hook and latch on it. Have a lot of projects to get to…
JeanD
I really need a new router, but a 20V Hammer Drill/Driver (DCD9981) and the 1/2 inch mid range impact driver sound awfully good. Of course, batteries are always on the list. Oui, such hard decisions.
Joatman
I would by a sliding miter saw DWS779 and the 20v vac to clean my mess.
John
I would spend it on a DWS713. I have some wood working projects around the house planned for 2022, and I really like the form factor of smaller saws. From everything I’ve read (here and elsewhere), Dewalt seems to be the cream of the crop when it comes to miter saws.
I would also buy a bunch of extra DWHT33028 9″ Magnetic Tape measures. I use my current one around the house all the time and my toddler loves it. This would ensure I have backups when he eventually breaks it!

Bobbye Pearson
I have been looking at the 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 5 in. Random Orbital Sander & 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 3-Speed Oscillating Multi-Tool . I am trying to craft more and I see the need for both of these when I am working with wood & repaint projects.

barbc824

nancyk

Lynn Oltman
I really need a cordless chainsaw to clean up fallen branches and a bunch of old spirea bushes in the back of my yard.
Lefay Brown
I would buy one of the DEWALT 20-Volt Max Power Tool Combo Kits to replace the tools that I somehow did not get after my divorce.
Andrew C
What’s not on my list?? I could go with the cordless framer, 15ga nailer or roofing nailer. They’re pretty high on my list. I could also go the flexvolt route and get the track saw. So many options and so many toys I want.
Ball_bearing
Happy 2022!

I would buy or put it towards a dual bevel miter saw. Been wanting one for awhile. I have a single bevel but would love to upgrade. And plus my single is not a Dewalt soo…catch my drift? 👍😃
Doug S.
I’d definitely go with the DW735X planer for the woodworking hobby.
Mike
In the past year I bought the XR Impact Driver as my first impact. In the last month, a failed battery on an aging Makita drill led me to get the Dewalt XR drill and XR reciprocating saw on a good deal. I haven’t had them long, but I’m liking them a lot. It may sound a bit outside the tool category, but if I had the money to spend, I’d like to get the cordless self-propelled mower to replace my old gas guzzler.
Chris Jacobs
DCG413 Grinder as I keep encountering tasks that need a grinder.
DCF887D2 Driver since I don’t have a driver.

Jon W
If I won, I’d finish replacing my 18v tools with 20v/flexvolt. Recip saw, and jigsaw. Plus maybe get a 20v roofing nailer and a 9AH Flexvolt battery.
Angela K Mumm

Jared

Sherry Pincus
I’d put it towards a dewalt generator.
Chris Gutierrez
Well….what I really want doesn’t exist yet (snow blower- single stage is fine but honestly some 2x FV tech and 15ah batteries would allow for a big self propelled dual stage)
But in the absence of that some of the new batteries. Oil resistant and power stack.
And maybe a chain saw or attachment for the power head.
Thanks for the effort here!
TJ
Would start with a drill driver kit and then build up from there.

Bill Graves
I would get couple more XR Tools.
janene Grace
First thing would be the portable air compressor. We have one but the handle is broken and is hard to move. I would also look at the battery table saw…. How long would the battery last Would certainly help.
Judy C
I’m retired and would really like to get into woodworking.
Steve
I have to win this to buy the dewalt tracksaw kit. I need that to clean up the oversized edges on the melamine panels I’m going to install in my garage. I love that kit cause it comes with a 102” track in addition to the 52” track.
Patrick Macalalad
Atomic series 3-speed impact driver – Must have.

Sharon Bontz
definitely the miter saw
Garrett
I’m pretty heavily invested into the Ryobi One+ 18V system but not into a (more compact) 12V system, so I’d probably either buy some of the DeWalt 12V compact tools. Alternatively, I might consider a larger tools for the shop like the sliding compound miter saw (my current one, an old Makita, works great but has very limited cutting depth) or some shop organization items.
Blythe
It would be a difficult mental struggle between the flexvolt table saw and track saw. I have a corded table saw but there have been many jobs lately with limited or no outside power. Plus the smaller size would be nice most of the time
Tony Hogan
Honestly no specific tool needed – this would be one “let’s see what scratches an itch” trips to see what I need and honestly didn’t know about

Richard Schott
I would purchase the track saw to make cutting paneling and plywood easier.
Jonathan
Awesome! I will be starting building a floating dock on our frozen lake within a couple weeks so when the lake thaws, it will drop right into place. I could definitely use their battery-powered circular saw to cut the lengths I need outside without dragging out an extension cord. Along with that, another drill and impact driver would be a great help so my wife and I aren’t swapping the DeWalt drill and driver we have back and forth the whole time. I would also love their 4.5 inch battery-powered circular saw for breaking down sheet goods that I buy at the lumberyard so they fit in my car.
Steve
I’d purchase a table saw or track saw, so I could start trying to make furniture. It’s been on my shopping list for some time, but this would make it happen.
paige chandler
I would get a much needed cord less drill and a chain saw
Monte
I want the cordless rachet and accessories.
Ed Rees
I’d go for the reciprocating saw or jigsaw – those are handy but rarely used, so not a basic tool set investment.
Robert T
I would probably get the 5-in-1 modular drill/driver. I’ve never owned one and it would make it easier to tackle some projects around the house.
KEVIN R

Bill G
I’ve been slowly getting my small workshop together and would enjoy a minor upgrade with the 20v sliding miter saw and also the plunge housing for the cordless router.
Dave
I need to replace some drywall in our bathroom. A drywall saw and a sander with dust catcher would be top of my list.
Ed Totleben
I’d update my entire cordless set. I’ve been using the same Dewalt tools for the past 6 years, even replacing the batteries with some after market company which just isn’t cutting it. Always wanted cordless saws which I never got around to purchasing. I even like the flashlights which I’ve made sure were in every set I’ve ever bought. Just refinished my mancave and could have used more cordless tools doing it.
Debra Sluis
Me, I need a good cordless drill- a really good one. I now have to be “the handyman” around here and the drill given to me years ago by the DH- well it’s “a toy” to me. doesn’t have a lot of power, I tell you. when I re-did a closet and some trim in my bathroom, and other things, I was crying in frustration until a son let me borrow a drill of HIS.. OH my gosh. Power! I could stop having to either cry or borrow if I had my own good drill.
Linda S
Would love the 10 Tool Combo Kit!!
Whit

My husband passed unexpectedly last month leaving me with several projects to finish up. I would buy the 20V Max 16 gauge angled finish nailer kit, so I can “retire” the air compressor and hoses. Using a cordless would be so much easier when putting up trim.

Cordless drill because you can not have enough of them
Brian
EASILY the 12” FLEXVOLT Cordless Miter Saw.
Just yesterday, I spent the he whole day on floor cutting trim. I had forgotten my extension cord, and this was my best option. I kept saying, “I need a cordless miter” “I need a cordless miter”. By the end of the day, I started adding various adjectives to that mantra.
While $500 would not pay for it entirely, it would help tremendously !
Michael
I would buy the DEWALT Miter Saw Stand, Heavy Duty (DWX723) so that I can clear the miter saw off my wooden workbench for other tools and projects.
Billy Cole
I would use it to get a new table saw.

Doing HVAC service, the 18v and 20v are to much. I lile to keep a toolbag as light as possible, so I’d probably got with the 12v impact drill/driver. Id buy 20v brushless for the tools I need but don’t use on a daily basis.
Andy
As a new homeowner, I’m shopping for a table saw and the DeWalt DWE7491RS is at the top of my list
John munger
I would like a right-angle drill, because I been frustrated many times drilling holes in tight spots.

12v multi driver kit
ryan Hambleton
I would get the DEWALT Benchtop Planer, Single Speed, 15-Amp, 12-1/2-Inch (DW734) to help me start up a woodworking business. It was a rough year last year and couldn’t afford one. I’ve been wanting to start up a woodworking business for awhile now. It’s something i enjoy doing and want to provide a better future for my kids and myself.
Mike McFalls
I would pick up the DEWALT 12V MAX Line Laser, 3 X 360, Green (DW089LG). I have wanted this for some time but haven’t been able to justify the expense. Having the gift card would alleviate that guilt.
Happy New Year and good luck to all!

Jeane Campbell
I would buy a nice Dewalt combo kit. Drill, impact, saws and some bits. Nothing too heavy. I would use this for doing craft projects.
Alexander
there are so many tools i would love to pickup from the dewalt but the first on my lists are the laser levels and the rotary hammers. my house is fully concrete so whenever there is real work needed, i kill myself with a regular hammer drill. the rotary hammer drills seems to be a different world but are so expensive, its hard to justify. the levels can make any and every job easier. from installing new drawer slides to putting up concrete. thanks for the opportunity and happy holidays!
Michelle Whitwam
We have a lot of trim work to do so a finish nailer would be fantastic
Vivienne Smith

Jon Gaudet
I’m a GC and I’ve been finding younger guys with a background in construction with a will to build their own businesses. Hopefully they learn from me and it’s been going well so far. I’m a firm believer in treating our workers with respect and show them we value them even when they’re skills are still developing. I purchased a dewalt 7 piece kit with tough system 2.0 roller from our newest guy after a month and I’ll never forget the look in his eyes when he got it. I would put this gift card toward another kit for the next employee that comes in with a will to work, learn and not have the means yet to treat themselves to professional grade tools!
So another turn key kit is what I’d buy!
Jim King
I would definitely use the gift card for a Dewalt Xtreme cordless drill and impact driver. I am frequently doing general vehicle maintenance and these products would come in handy.
IronWood
I’d pick up a cordless track saw with a couple of tracks. I’ve wanted one for a long time, but never been quite able to justify the cost. I know once I have one I’ll wonder why I didn’t pick it up years ago!!
Carole Everson

Stephen
DCD708C2 drill kit, DCC2520T1 compressor and a few tstak organizers just for home use
Craig J
I would add either a 996 or 998 hammer drill. But I’ve really enjoyed impacts lately and my 610 screwdriver is due for an upgrade to the 601 and add the 840 or 850 impacts to it. Lots of choices. Maybe a new tool chest would be the way to go.
Elizabeth G
DeWALT Atomic 20V Max cordless drill/driver kit! I love how compact & versatile it looks!

James McC
I have plans for 2022, and $500 would go a long way to making them happen.
I started a handyman business a couple of months ago. So far, it is going pretty well, but I am not well-enough established yet to be consistently making money. There’s a definite demand for this kind of service though it is a challenge to get the word out.
I couldn’t work without a chop saw and a table saw so I have already splurged on those. As I am not a contractor setting up for cutting tons of wood for big framing jobs or the like, I decided to go cordless. Despite having a soft spot for Bosch—I use their 12V and 18V drills, and 18V jigsaw and oscillating tool, I bought Dewalt, reckoning on them being cheaper and offering a greater range of possibilities for expansion. I got a 7 1/4” miter saw and an 8 1/4” table saw, both part of Dewalt’s FLEXVOLT series. They are both great, and I couldn’t have run my new business without them. I fitted some mahogany stair rails and the miter cuts were perfect and I have used the table saw for pretty much everything.
So, what would I do with a $500 gift card? I am lucky enough now to have 2 of the Dewalt 6.0-Ah 20V/60V batteries so I don’t need to invest in those. That means I can focus on getting compatible tools. The question then is what do I need the most to support my business.
On my first go-around, here’s what I came up with, all cordless of course: First, DEWALT 20V Max XR Cordless Router, Brushless, Tool Only (DCW600B)—$140 on special on amazon right now; and second, DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX Air Compressor Kit, Cordless, 2.5 Gallon (DCC2560T1 —$319 on Amazon. That’s $459 spent.
Problem, problem! This is not going to work as there’s not enough left to buy the pin nailer (DEWALT Pin Nailer, 23 Gauge, 2-Inch (DWFP2350K), $149 on Amazon. That compressor will be no good without the nailer. So, I sat back for a few minutes and reconsidered. I changed tack just a little and came up with what I think will be better for my needs.
So, I am going to scratch the compressor and just go with a cordless finish nailer. The DEWALT 20V MAX XR Finish Nailer, 16GA (DCN662B) at $340 will do the kind of work that I need to do easily and without having to carry around even a cordless compressor. And, best of all, the costs work out. The cordless router at $140 (if that special lasts) and the cordless finish nailer for $340 bring the total to $480. With these two tools I will be able to handle fit-ups in my workshop and on-site, and I’ll be able to handle that window trim job I have scheduled for next week, just as soon as I get a clear COVID test!
Spencer
Honestly, my wife and i are just starting out and anything would help. But hte most flexible drill it probably first.
Nate

Joyce Tkacs
My husband would love a DEWALT ATOMIC 20-Volt MAX Cordless Brushless 4-1/2 In. Circular Saw. His old corded B&D is worn out and ready for retirement.
He would be thrilled to have a new cordless Dewalt 20 volt cordless unit.
Hubmeister Meisterhubber
I would get their drill combo, the cordless miter saw, and the random orbital sander. I’m a DIYer/honeydoer and mostly spend time hanging stuff and refinishing our starter furniture.
Andrew
I just finished up my garage and am needing to stock up on mechanics tools to work on my grandfathers 29’ Ford. Mostly I’m needing to pick up a compact impact wrench, a ratchet, and a good mechanics tool set of wrenches and sockets
Michael Christofield
I’d get some basic things to start. I could use a new drill. Clamps would be great as well.
JonL
Really interested in some of the flexvolt advantage tools. Up to this point, I have been sticking with normal 20v tools so these would allow me to get started with a few compatible tooks.
KEVIN MARR

cynthia whipple

MFC
I would definitely be interested in the multi head driver, stubby impact wrench and in-line ratchets they just came out with.
James Moyers
I would buy a cordless blower or trimmer edger. My corded blower is a bummer to do leaves and my trimmer is dying so not worth buying a new spool. I could also use a new mower as old one battery is not made anymore.
Tim
I am in property maintenance, so I use a wide variety of tools. One thing I don’t have is an oscillating tool, so I would definitely get one of those. I would also get an impact driver with a clutch. As the roofs need to be replaced we are installing steel roofs because of their durability and insurance savings. Installing them requires over 3000 fasteners, each with a washer. If you over-drive the fastener, it damages the washer and it will leak. If you under-tighten, it will also leak. You have to put them in perfect, and the clutch takes all of the guesswork out after you do a few test screws to see what to set it at.
Sarah Ehrhart
I would get impact drill drivers, cordless, for my son and grandsons. I would also get an impact wrench and a really good hammer.
Tyler G
I definitely would purchase the flexvolt advantage hammer drill. The rest would be spent as the needs arise for certain tools. You really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Renee T
I would buy extra batteries (Flexvolt 9ah) for blower so I can do the entire yard.
Robert Gibson
cordless drill, impact driver, screwdriver, and 5-in-1 modular drill/driver
James Lee
I definitely want a portable bandsaw and a stand for it. Or maybe extra TS2.0 boxes. A 12ah flexvolt battery would be cool for my OPE power head.
Anthony Tulli
I would get a 20v drill, 20 v circular saw, and reciprocating saw.
Samuel Donovan
A job site table saw, and a cordless sander. A couple things I don’t have but need for projects around the house.
Nicholas
I would definitely pick up their new 20v impact, it’d my daily bread and butter. Small size, light, and powerful. Match that with a 2pk of the flex pouch batteries. Pick up a flexvolt advantage drill in some kind of a kit with 5-8ah w/charger. And finish it off with their 20v heat gun.
Nathan
I already own a good selection of 20V max Dewalt tools but I’m sure there is something I don’t have that I would purchase.
Ken Weinstein

Travis Upah
I would buy a cordless circular saw and some lawn care equipment.
Mary R
I’d love to use the gift card for a DeWALT Power Screwdriver and 100pc bit set, MAX Cordless drill, and ShopVac. Unless my husband decides he really needs the DeWALT portable table saw, then we go with that one.
Craig Graydon
The cordless sander would be great to help with some furniture refinish projects my wife has waiting for me. I also have my eye on the combo kit.

Ken K
I would absolutely get a finish nailer and a compound miter saw. Lots of woodwork replacement in my future.
Daniel T.
I would get the latest DeWALT 20-Volt Impact Driver.
Doug N
Nice giveaway. I’d pick the new usb-c 100w charger (when available) and some new finish nailers (15 and 18 gauge). I really like Dewalt’s flywheel design, very reliable and well balanced. I’ve had the 18v xrp models for 15 years but tired of using those batteries.
Dylan R
As somebody who uses and abuses the full line of dewalt tools in my wood/metal work; I want to use the new slimmed down 3/8″ impact at 300ftlb?!?!?! How about that new 7″ flex volt grinder? (Grunts in Tim the tool man Taylor). Seriously powerful tools contained in tiny little frames; it’s phenomenal technology!
MUnkhsaruul
I would buy a whole Dewalt tools drill, impact, etc for worker like a partner. i am tired of borrow to worker every time.
Karen M
I would buy a 4-Tool Cordless Combo Kit and an orbital sander. I made some outdoor Christmas decorations and would like to make more. New DeWalt tools would give me a head start on next year’s decorations.
Katherine Donovan
I would use the gift certificate towards one of their table saws. My friend and I are building a “she – shed” this spring. I can’t wait!!
Antoinette M
We need extra battery packs, so I’d pick DeWALT 20V MAX* Compact 3.0 Ah Battery 2-Pack!
roger williams
I could really use that chainsaw too! Lots of tree work going on at my place
Wayne
I would buy the new 3/8 impact from dewalt, and the cordless ratchet when it comes out lol
Joseph Kielar
I’ve been saving up for the dewalt planer for a few years. Would love to put this toward it.
Heather Weatherspoon
I’d buy myself a set of basic tools: a cordless rechargeable screwdriver set, my own drill, hammer, and taper measure, because my husband can never seem to find any of those things in a timely manner when I need one. I’d also like my own utility knife and a scraper for craft projects.
Becky Kinard
I would purchase a Dewalt Rolling Tool Cabinet to keep all my husband’s tools organized.
Django
i would want the cordless ratchet stuff
Sylvia Svihel
The first thing I would buy is a new saber saw as our Dewalt is getting really old and I would love the the larger battery for longer use time. A circular saw would be next and on down the line until the $500 is gone or I have all of the Dewalt line!
Kimberly Burnett
I would buy a compact drill because it would be super handy around the house.
Mike B
I’ve been replacing some old tools with new ones, which undeniably never ends, but we all know the drill. Currently, I am looking to pick up the cordless jigsaw (DCS334B), cordless router (DCW600B) and a compact table saw (DW745). I’m already invested in the 20-volt MAX XR line, so I’m always happy to add to it.

Nichole F
A DEWALT table saw has been on my wishlist for several years.
Justan Jenkins
I’m not exactl;y what anyone would call a handiman.. in fact i dont even really own many tools, id probably usee the gift card to purchase a multitool package on sale, or possibly a bandsaw/jigsaw to try smaller projects like custom puzzle making.. so many possibilities, that i could finally work on building a tool collection XD
Chase Hinkle
Hoping to buy a home soon and my first purchase will be a table saw!
Will
I mostly have to deal with manual tools and borrowing from friends and family when I need to make a home repair. I would be looking at one of the combo kits, particularly focusing on a drill, impact driver, and oscillating multi-tool.
Joe W.
I’d like to try DeWalt’s string trimmer or leaf blower. The new cordless ratchet also looks interesting.
Richard Hicks
Model #DWE7491RS tablesaw would help out a lot in my carpentry business
[email protected]@
What I could use most would be the cordless circular saw and nailer. The miter would be nice, but I just don’t have the space for it, and the circular saw would just about do the trick.
Susan L
We have 5 acre’s but a small fenced in back yard for our little dog and my summer visiting area. I would really like a New

Richard Lewis
The cordless mower, and the wide throat 20V band saw.
butch Chiochon
I would like to get a mechanics ratchet and a medium duty impact or a heavy duty impoact
Robert May
A couple cordless drills. My Dewalt drill has been dead for several years now and I sure do miss it. I’d probably buy a couple extra batteries too, and a full set of cobalt drill bits. I’d like a dewalt heat gun too, for removing paint, etc.
Javier M.
I would spend it in a new 20v bandsaw that someone recently stole from me, maybe a few 12v xtreme tools as well.
Jon
I’d get the 5-1 modular dill/driver for versatility on those hard to reach or slightly tricky power tool tasks that always seem to occur at least once on a jobsite to hold you back a good chunk of time.
I’d also get the new 12volt ratchets and a palm sander and whatever else I need upon further inspection.
Dan W
I would use the gift card to help purchase the benchtop planer.
Debra Haefner
I would use it to buy some batteries for the ones we already have.

DEWALT 20 Volt MAX 10-Tool Cordless Combo Kit — 2 Batteries, Model# DCK1020D2
This would be the best gift for my husband. Thank you for the contest!
Amy Johnson
The gift card is great! Dewalt DXGN6000 Gasoline Generator looks like it would go towards-we need one badly! Dewalt has never let me down thus far! I know of others who have had one for many years without issues. 8 gallon fuel tank and fuel gauge, idle control and overall price are reasons it sounds like a winner.
lmbouch
I need a good drill mine has seen its last days and a brad nailer!
bigiron
Really could use a table saw and stand. Can’t keep getting by with circular and chop saws.
Kayte CookWatts
We would get a lot of use out of the bigger ToughSeries screwdriver set- we do our own wheelchair repairs so good hand tools are essential.
Joe
A miter saw! I have some finishing work on the deck and this would come in real handy.
Travis
Cordless drills and drivers for building rock climbing walls
James C
I’d go all-in on T-Stack. I recently got some bit organizers and the shallow / deep toolsbox trays. I’m very happy with them. I think T-Stack would work better for my needs than the Packout stuff I’m partially invested in.
Melvin
I want to buy a bandsaw and a drill press but Dewalt doesn’t make them. Need to replenish consumables (drill bits, driver bits, saw blades, utility knife blades, planer blades). Need a torque wrench as well.
shawn katz
My son is 16 and is now helping me to fix, upgrade things around the house. Learning these skills with his own tool swill be awesome

Bryan Green
I would use the gift card to buy the Dewalt 20v heat gun to thaw my frozen pipes. The 20v fan to dry out the leak from these frozen pipes. The 20v lights to light up the mess of these frozen pipes. Who knows maybe a Dewalt stool would be nice to sit and watch this mess while I drink a beer and hide from a certain someone who said “I told you so”.
Pieter
I’d get a circular saw and a reciprocating saw. Just moved into a new place and my tool library isn’t very big… and I have a couple projects around the house I’d like to start.
Adam B
I’d use it for a Dewalt 735 planer! Hardwood has gotten way too expensive and so rough cut is all that’s affordable but you need the right tools to mill it down. This would definitely jumpstart some projects!
JMG
Batteries… Never seem to have enough.
Brian S Kuhlman
I would get a job site radio and some boxes for storing the tools
Alejandro Renteria
Would definitely get into tough system and get into 20v. Currently in ridgid and would like to move up to 20v
Leisa Humble
I’d like a DeWALT heat gun too, for removing paint and 20V Max kit with a new sander, 3-speed oscillating multi-tool for doing crafts. You’d be surprised how much they help with crafting!
Peter G
8-Volt 1/4-in Cordless Screwdriver (1-Battery Included and Charger Included)
DEWALT 20-Volt Brushless Cordless Variable Speed Random Orbital Sander with Dust Management
Item #1100334Model #DCW210B
I would use these for finishing my wooden tables and chairs and outdoor wooden furniture.
Daniel jacobsen
My next purchase will be a under hood work light.
Michelle Henkelman
I would get a tool box so i can try to organize what we have and make sure it all lives in one place
Brandon Bitner
Our sliding miter saw is sounding pretty rough so I’d probably buy a replacement miter saw.
Robert W ZIEMBA
I would buy the flexvolt stud drill kit. I am doing an increasing number of hvac unit/lineset installs on medium-rise apartment and condo units. I increasingly have to drill holes in stacked top plates on divider walls and such to run condensate drop mains or for linesets. I’ve already killed a DCD996 (handle broke off at the trigger) from running a 2.5″ holesaw. I think i drilled 1500 holes? It probably would be good to have the proper tool for the job, and it would be a good way to break into the Flexvolt system.
James Bell
I would buy 2 of each of the tools I purchase as my grandson needs to start developing his toolbox. Probably impact wrench, drill, racket sets, screwdrivers, Torx drivers, nut drivers, angle grinder.
Denise Rodriguez
i know my brother in law and i would find it handy to have some new, sturdy tools for remodeling my house. we could use a good sander, a drill , and a variety of cutting tools.
Ryan Olsen
I’d put it toward a miter saw, definitely. A DWS780 or DWS716XPS maybe. Sold my Hitachi before a move and haven’t replaced it yet.
Todd Burleigh
I would buy a DeWalt portable table saw DWE7491RS with rolling stand. It would fill a needed hole in my tool collection.
dina brown
When I use my dewalt nail gun outs a smile on my face. It works great on so many projects.
Munklepunk
Either a cordless miter saw or storage. That 12v multi head looks sweet as well. Or maybe find a new guy in the trades and pass it along
J.C.
I’d get one those new cordless ratchets and try out one of those new batteries.
David Heath
Will definitely grab the new 5-in-1. Probably the automotive hood light as well. not sure what else I’ll grab after, maybe start delving into the Flexvolt line.
Lauren Hecker
I would love some of the new 12V Max tools! They fit both my and my husband’s hands exquisitely. We are currently working on some homre renovations, and a gift card could definitely help us get some of the tools we need. Thanks for the chance to win!
Kari Coffey
I would use this gift card to purchase all new tools for my hubby. He constantly loses them, misplaces them, or just breaks them. We could use some new DeWalt cordless tools around the house. I would keep a very good eye on them.
Craig T
I’d gratefully use the prize to purchase a router, compressor, brad nailers, and tool storage!
Sabrina
I would leave that up to my boyfriend. His hobby is woodworking (turning bowls, etc.) so whatever tool or accessory he can use to assist him in his craft.
Roberta Thompson
I would get a table saw. I need one really bad.
Mike Cheung
Current favorite dewalt tool is our rotary hammer, as I’m setting up a new work space in a brick building, so it’s been getting a workout.
I’d use the prize to upgrade our aging batteries to power stack / flexvolt packs since we have quite a few dewalt tools already. Or possibly a big boy leaf blower, since we only have the little jobsite blower that we do everything with.
Erica G.
I would purchase the 9in DeWalt drywall sander! I am starting a big refinishing project that requires sanding down sections of our drywall, and this would be a big help!
nh
Which DeWALT tools will improve your work is a good question. All—This would be a gift to my husband if I won. I looked at the power tools and lots to choose one when you got an old house that needs work. Whomever wins will be very lucky to use a DeWalt product.
blk
I’d get the 20V Max XR hammer drill, impact driver, and recip saw. I have a list of projects that would benefit from the greater power compared to my current 12V brushed drill and driver, including some fence repairs.
dani
I would get the 20v max drill so I can finish house projects.
Brenda
I would buy a new combo drill and driver set.
Linda Jennings
A sliding mitre saw – cause I think that is the main thing lacking in my brother-in-law’s tool set Want it for him.
Clayton
I would put it toward a dewalt track saw. Always wanted a track saw but been waiting on Milwaukee since thats the platform I got into. thats not happening anytime soon so it seems. I’d try a yellow one with that kind of good fortune.
Toni Wright
I would FINALLY have Quality tools in my garage!!!! Go Dewalt!
julie ann Rosier
I would buy a cordless drill. I have 3 and all of them crapped out in one day just trying to drill a screw into a deck board. ugg
Gregg
I need a new table saw since mine grew legs a couple weeks ago. Also could use new pact driver.
Shelly Miller
I need a good quality palm sander with an attachment to catch the sawdust
Maureen Stein
I love to refinish old furniture so I would buy the DeWALT 20V Max kit with a new sander, 3-speed oscillating multi-tool, single-speed impact driver, and Atomic series 3-speed impact driver.reen Stein
Rob Spanos
For me I would go for the tracksaw kit. Been looking for an excuse to pick one up for a while now.
Craig Clarkson
I would apply it towards the 20V Max Cordless Drill Combo Kit 10-Tool set so that I will have what I need when I need it….a Cordless Drill is a necessity for a do it yourself type of person
Dan
I would get the cordless framing nailer and tracksaw. The framing nailer will help with an upcoming workshop build and the tracksaw will give a cordless option to go with my corded Festool and existing tracks.
Jenny P
I would definitely buy a chainsaw with some extra batteries. I may even spring for the flexvolt mode
Juxtapose
I’d get their cordless planer! That thing seems tight!
David Munn
Let’s see
One thing I’d want to buy is a Dewalt cordless trim router, I’ve been wanting to do some light woodworking, but haven’t broken down and bought a router to chamfer/round-over some of the uprights and shelving.
Another I’d like to get is a cordless blower for dealing with sawdust and/or metal shavings.
I’d also like to get that new Atomic ultra thin impact driver, it would be great for getting into tighter places either in woodworking or automotive applications.
Maybe the 16ga and 18ga brad and finish nailers for around the house and small projects
The new Dewalt cordless ratchets look interesting, at least for having an at home cordless ratchet.
One of the upsides is the 20v Max battery platform is a battery platform we already have started in this house.
Kent Skinner
I’d be thrilled to get a new DeWALT miter saw for $50-$100.
The DWS780(?) is a great saw, and it’s time for an upgrade.
Leslie Price
I would buy my partner the miter saw he’s been drooling over!
Tansley7
I would use it to upgrade my current 18v set. I have a Jeep CJ7 I’m always tinkering on, the impact driver just doesn’t have the kick I need for some of the older bolts.
SaturnFire
I would spend it on a DEWALT DW735 to build some shelves or a DCM848 polisher to finish an SUV’s body panel…
Randy S
I’d get the 12v recip saw and the 20v OMT. The Flexvolt recip saw is also high on my list.
jenifer
I would love a Dewalt 1/2 inch drive cordless impact gun for automotive roadside assistance calls.
Karen
Since I have no power tools, will start with the basics and see how far the money goes
Tyler
I would use it to get myself into the flex volt line up. Right now I’m using hilti tools through work but have been building up my personal collection with Dewalt tools, hoping to branch out on my own some day. My first Dewalt set was a drill impact combo back in 2012 and have been adding to it ever since. I’m eyeing up the flex volt track saw or circular saw.
Josh H
I would purchase the modular driver and get into the 12v tools. I prefer the feel of them over the M12. I’m in the nonprofit facilities world and used to haul tool bag from truck to building and back to truck. Now I am at a job where most work is in the big city and find myself walking between buildings. Have started shifting from a toolbag to a backpack for day to day maintenance tasks. Anything that reduces weight and still allows for me to finish tasks, I am all for. For personal use would be an Underwood light and cordless ratchet for working on vehicles.
Craig S
I would get the 20V Max Pole Saw and Hedge Trimmer along with a high capacity battery. I recently purchased a couple of acres which are partially wooded. The tree lines are in dire need of trimming nd these tools would be a great help. These would be a great addition to my current DeWalt power tools.
Jason
Since big red still won’t give the people what they want, it might be time to switch colors and go for the DCS520 TrackSaw kit.
William Lovett
I would buy a drill and a extra battery.
Joel Cederholm
Oooo That Atomic series 3-speed impact driver has me drooling!
So perfect for tight areas!!
Bernardo Castro
Would definitely come in handy for the new house
Eric H
I have a few tools and batteries that could use an upgrade. First, I need a replacement for a 6ah flex volt battery that refuses to charge on all 3 dewalt chargers I own! Second, I have a well used green reciprocating saw that could be replaced with a cordless brushless Dewalt reciprocating saw. The increase in power and reduction in vibration transmitted to the operator would be great! Finally, I would use to remaining funds to purchase the brushless cordless compact router. I believe it is the same form factor as the corded model so I would also get the plunge base to go with it. At MSRP, that would use the $500, but I would try to be a savy shopper and look into bundles or kits where a drill/driver would be included plus batteries. If I didn’t already own the Bosch FlexiClick, I would definitely be interested in Dewalt’s installation driver.
