A lot of people have been asking about Dewalt’s 10″ table saw with roller stand – DWE7491RS – and whether it will be on sale for Black Friday 2019. Thanks to a reader’s tip (thank you DC!), we see that this awesome table saw is on sale right now for $499.
This popular (and personally recommended) jobsite table saw is regularly priced at $599. Right now it’s $499, which is $100 savings.

Amazon is offering this price directly, but with a 1-2 month shipping ETA, and a 3rd party seller has it for the same $499 price and free shipping.
Looking at my our post archive, this Dewalt table saw was a Black Friday deal back in 2017, when it went on sale for $499. I don’t recall it being on sale since then, and can’t find any more recent Black Friday or holiday tool deal posts.
How do I put this simply? This is a kick-ass saw and $499 is a kick-ass price.

With a lot of Black Friday and holiday season table saw specials, it can be asked “but is this a good product?” With this Dewalt table saw, the answer is undoubtedly “YES.”

I have a 7491 already, but just ordered another one to replace my 7480, which has smaller table and does not support dado blade.
I placed my order via Rakuten. The seller is factory authorized outlet. I got $40 off by using code HOME15, and another $50 in points to be used in the future. So in the end a great table saw for $410! Sweet.

This is what pops up on Amazon: “This item requires special handling and cannot be shipped to your selected location,” but it’s $499 at our local Lowes. HD doesn’t carry this, not sure why.
Gary
HD carries the saw, but they’re showing the price as $529 + standard delivery (or free pick-up at the store).

Hey Stuart, is it worth it to get the extended warranty as well? it costs an extra $90 for 4 years. Thanks
Steve Goodman
No. You’ll only changed brushes if you use it non-stop. (Assumes that it’s not thrown around. Etc). I still have my 744. All these Dewalt saws last and last.

If you actually purchase it from Amazon directly, you’ll see a $15 discount applied when you check out (because of the shipping delay?), which brings the price down to $385. If you have an Amazon Prime credit card, I believe you’ll also get a 5% amazon credit, which would be $19.25, bringing your final cost to under $366 if you’re willing to wait for it to ship directly from Amazon.
KG
Was $499 for me when I just tried adding to checkout, not $399 – 15 as Mopar stated. I had just bought the dwe7480 with stand for $350 so I would have been packing that back up to return if I could further extend my rip capacity and add dado support for another $16 net

Sorry, that’s what I get for doing math early in the AM, lol. Somewhere along the line I lost $100.
The $15 discount does still apply for me, dunno, maybe some sorta targeted promo?
Without it (and with the correct price) the cash back for using an Amazon Prime credit card is actually, $24.95.
I’m in the same boat as you though, I just bought the 7480. Haven’t even taken it out of the box yet, because it’s sitting at my other house 2 states away.
Stuart
Maybe you have a $15 courtesy credit from somewhere? I don’t see any added discount on my side either.

Fantastic. I’ve been waiting for this to hit $499 and checking Toolguyd daily. You guys delivered the news and are on top of things. What a great site you are maintaining. Keep up the great work! I will get it from Lowe’s in case there are any issues easier to return.
Stuart
Thanks!
I’ve got another two weeks or so of hyper deal-spotting vigilance.
Clay
This is a great deal.
Lowes had it for $399 last fall and I had a 20% off coupon and that makes the best deal I ever scored.

Keep an eye on the 7490X if the rolling stand isn’t a must. It usually starts around $500, so here’s hoping for some more dewalt incentives.
Big Richard
The 7490 also has 4″ less ripping capacity, just another thing to keep in mind.
Brian
Ordered just now via your link and will go to the store to pick it up. Thank you to everyone for your help! Especially this site and hopefully using your link does a little bit to help the site.
Stuart
Thanks, I appreciate it!
The main goal is to provide tool information readers need or want, which this time of year means sorting out the deals from the money-wasters.

Thanks Stuart, bought mine as well but may have to return it if we’re furloughed again.

I’ve been monitoring the 7491RS for a few days and just missed out on a $450.30 price that popped up yesterday (11/28) for a few hours from MaxTool….got distracted and it was gone by the time I tried to enter the order. Seems everyone (Amazon/HD/Lowes/Acme/CPO…etc.) has it at $499 today. Don’t HAVE to have it now…so going to roll the dice and see if Lowe’s or other comes through with better Cyber Monday offer… 😉
