Home Depot has a 2-for-1 deal on an excellent Dewalt 25ft compact magnetic tape measure.
As part of their Black Friday deals, or presumably as long as supplies last, you can buy this 2-pack of tape measures for just $19.88.
Annoyingly, I recently bought one for $18, as it’s a new release and I wanted to assess its quality. 2 for $20 is a lot better than 1 for $18.

The magnetic hook is removable.
This is essentially an updated version of the Dewalt Atomic series 25ft tape measure, but with new branding – or Atomic unbranding – and the removable hook.
Standout is 10ft, “max reach” is 13ft.
I think this is one of the best tape measure deals of the 2025 holiday season.

I was just in HD and bought this two pack. Now if I could just get it open I might have chance to see if like them. 🙃

How does this compare to the Stanley FatMax 25-ft magnetic? I still have a drawer full of older 25′ and 35′. But having that magnet when measuring against a steel cabinet or framing would be nice.

For me the finger break and the overall ergos if the DeWalt are why the 16′ I have has been my first choice for a while now. Only issue I have is the belt clip coming loose about every other day it seems with heavy use.

I tried a fastcap a few years ago and have used nothing but since. I have 4 different types and sizes and all of them cost less, are superior quality in every way and have outlasted any tape measure I’ve come across including my favorite fat max that didn’t have a strong enough magnet to be of any real use.

I’ve had them all, at one time or another. None last over a year. Getting upwards of $30 is ridiculous . Maybe, maybe if they lasted longer. Until then, $12-$15 is gonna get ya to the next job just fine.

Why pay $12 to $15 each when these deals give you a pricier tape at 2 for $20?
