Let’s kick off the holiday season with an energetic giveaway! This week we are giving away a prize package featuring some of the best power solutions that DeWALT has to offer.
This kit will be an instant upgrade for DeWALT 20V Max* cordless power tool users, and there’s still some great functionality for newcomers to the powerful and versatile platform.
A big THANK YOU to DeWALT for being a ToolGuyd sponsor, and for providing the products for this giveaway.

The Prize (Part1): DeWALT PowerStack 5Ah Battery

Compared to the cylindrical cell 5Ah battery (DCB205), the DeWALT 20V Max* pouch cell PowerStack 5Ah battery delivers 50% more power, can deliver 50% more work per charge in demanding applications, and has 2X the lifespan with respect to charge cycles.
Simply put, I consider this to be an INSTANT UPGRADE.
The Prize (Part 2): DeWALT ToughSystem Charging Tool Box

The DeWALT ToughSystem 2.0 charger box features an integrated fan-cooled dual port battery charger that can recharge your DeWALT 20V Max* or FlexVolt batteries, plus USB Type A and C charging ports.
Part of the ToughSystem 2.0 storage system, the charger can auto-connect with other ToughSystem 2.0 modules. It’s also dust and water resistant with an IP55 rating and has a large storage space that can fit up to 12 DeWALT 20V Max* or FlexVolt batteries (depending on battery size).
The Prize (Part 3): DeWALT USB-C Two-Way Charger

The DeWALT DCB094K charger and USB-C adapter kit is a two-way charger. You can use this to recharge your DeWALT 20V Max* cordless power tool batteries, or use it to turn any DeWALT 20V Max* or FlexVolt battery into a portable battery bank.
It comes with the slide-on adapter, a 65W wall charger, and a USB-C power cord rated to 100W.

I would love to see a right angle die grinder tool like the Milwaukee M12 2485-20 — but doesn’t need to be 12v, 20v would be great too.
Dan
That is a tool I’d buy tomorrow if it were available.
R Rhoads
I would like to see a full size, self contained battery operated pipe threading machine. That I could chuck in my groover. and could setup and take everywhere easily.
TexMex210
Another great addition for plumbing line would new a ProPress tool!
Carmine Crisci
They just came out with a new compact pro press tool. Id like to see Dewalt continue to take steps in the right direction in the plumbing & hvac department. I’m overrun by red on sites. Im not the only one in my shop rocking the full schpeel.
Albert Yerkes
Like to see a pair of glasses with lights.
Bobby
Cedar tree sheers. 1 or 2 inch diameter cut. Cuts close to the ground. Without bending over. High speed for small trees low for larger.
Michael Allen Cooke III
I work in the shipyard and from time to time a adjustable cordless portaband saw would be a great help.
MikeR
I would like to see this also
Neil
I’d like to see a garage door opener.
Devon Mosgrove
A garage door opener would actually be awesome! Need a new one anyway
Tyson Kirk
I would also like to see a garage door opener!
David Munroe
I’d like to see a bug zapper!
Nicholas
I think they should expand to Maybe small kiosks and or stores..They are by far the best products..keep up the good work
Erik G
A finger sander angle grinder attachment or small detail sander would be great. Also I want to mount my chargers on the wall and charge at the same time
Dan s
A plastic heavy duty gang box. Like size of a normal gang box. With spots to fasten it down
Jaime
I’d like to see Dewalt floor jack .
Anthony Snyder
Yes a right and die grinder and a sander/buffer like the MAC tools has. Also wall storage options that are tool specific for outdoor tools.
Bigger impacts 3/4″ drive. 1″ drive.
Portable workstations similar to the Kreg style with dog holes and t-tracks that can attach to tough system boxes
Oswin
Would like to see more new tools ofthe atomic lineup.
Trevor
i would like to see some Dewalt PAT testers, Multimeters all with dewalt cases,
A dewalt heated gilet using a Xr battery in the pocket would be great!
A portable windshield heater for cars iced up or a small portable fan heater to put on the dash to prevent car getting cold and frozen up inside like my van does.
just gently hearing the inside may make all the difference between an accident and written off vehicle or a safe day at work
A powered paint brush and roller spinner is needed in my job as a decorator/ handyman.
Dewalt power bank car starter with usb phone charger.
I’m sure I can come up with lots more ideas in all trades.
This is just the start!
Cameron Lawrence
Simple to make idea but there are none in stores: A hard or soft case to fit grinding and cutting wheels would be great. When bought in packs, any brand, you open one but now have 4 other loose ones subject to breaking before use. I don’t know why we don’t see them on the market already.
Shannon
I’d like to see expanded Tough System 2.0 options, better storage rack and tool holders for shop.
Jan Ott
I love to see a system where you can plug into the wall for your battery tools like they have with the 120 volt battery saw
Michael F
I’d like to see Dewalt come out with some non-yellow shop storage products. Their new line looked really interesting, but what if I just don’t want that much yellow in my shop?
Oh, and if I win I’ll be giving the package to my father-in-law to go with his ToughSystem 2.0 setup. He already has a few PowerStack batteries and Dewalt tools.
Allen Lightsey
I would like to see a drill chuck with a stainless grip ring so it doesnt rust.
Chris
I’d like to see Dewalt expand their selection of modular tool storage increasing compatibility within existing systems and offering small modifications (as seen in the recent toughsystem releases). There should be no reason that Dewalt customers should have to have bit holders 3d printed for often exorbitant amounts, as an example.
csundar
I second this. Have a ton of TSTACK storage that would love better integration with the toughsystem products. As is there is a platform now to add but only really works when talking about roller storage. I don’t use it in a roller setting. Second option would be a storage ‘rack’ system for the TSTACK. Finally recently saw a battery storage for M18 that would look good in yellow.
Juvencio meraz
Think more accessories for the 2.0 system will be a good addition, have most of the modules, really wish it could be much more than just storage
BardenC
Totally agree with expanding the storage box options. Some others are coming out with much more versatile boxes/pieces to let you truly customize your setup.
Dale
I love my toughsystem2. 0, but would love to see some attachments to hold levels and squares securely and lockable to the outside of the boxes that are easy on, easy off like the rest of the system.
And yes any way in hell to get away from yellow…… Seriously the only yellow ANYTHING I own is DeWalt. I hate the color yellow…. I’ve painted my DeWalt tools blue 🔵💙. It’s the only downside of DeWalt….. Yuck lol
Jarrod E
I would to see them come out with a wall mounted powertool storage/organizer.
Lawrence
Great idea, would love to see it come out.
Monica Hampleman Stewart
That would help a lot with storage
Remster77
I second that.
Would love to see a move line up for a garage stearate system with shelves, cabinets and such
Turin
Yup… This.
And maybe a battery storage tray that can mount in the truck so they were not bouncing all over
Plaidicus
Agreed on the wall mounted storage.
I’d also like a short 6 or 8 inch chain saw with a “knife” style layout. They are amazing for pruning.
Nestor Estrada Leon
I’d like to maybe see Dewalt make a battery powered coffee maker like Makita has. Maybe a battery powered palm nailer like Craftsman had the Hammerhead and maybe a solar charging station / kit for Dewalt batteries. I think that would be some cool tools
SOL
I want to see a demo screwdriver just like Milwaukee discontinued 48-22-2860. A good duct knife like Midwest but with better handle.
Rdolan
They do have them already. I have a set they hold up great to being abused.
Kevin
I would like it if they made more small craft things like glue guns, hot foam cutters, etc. The market is pretty much just Ryobi for those things right now.
Zach Palmero
For sure right angle impact wrench. DeWalt has only now started to catch up with plumbing tools.
Better pump pliers, I love DeWalt but their pump pliers is pretty bad. Something more like Wilde or knipex would be liked.
More demolition screwdriver sizes.
An expansion tool that can handle over 1″.
Love DeWalt, but those are some.
Matt
Love to continue seeing half size box solutions. I’ve seen some more like this charging case which I really like. Also saw the led light with half crate and I like these and would welcome more like it.
Charles
I agree a Dremel type tool, but more reliable would be great.
Krzysztof
Also – ‘hobby’ tools wood be quite nice to have more flexibility with same battery system.
Chris R
An inverter/charger that can run on 1 battery at reduced capacity, or up to all 4/8 for full power, and charge the batteries as quickly as the wall outlet will allow. Maybe even with Bluetooth app control to set limits.
Will
Backpack large battery packs to charge to swap out garden ope tools on
Lance Alston
I would like to see Dewalt truck tool box.
Dan Matlick
I’d like to see more DeWalt outdoor power equipment. With higher voltages say 60v. Chain saws, lawn mowers, battery back up converters, snow blowers etc. along the lines of greenworks and ego, but better and with DeWalt quality
Tyler S
I would like to see corded DC adapter for power tools for continuous use.
Varoadking
Great idea…I agree… 👍
Joe Lav
We use toughsystem in all our locksmith vans. It’s a great product!
Walter Hawk
I would like to see Dewalt do more promotions on its 20 Volt cordless batteries ? 🔋
Kevin c
A 120v to 20 volt dc and to go up to 60v would be great
Joe Brackenrich
I would love to see dewalt come out with some more hand tools I feel like they have the power tool section pretty well.covered.
Michael Smith
Better battery life 2 years most of the time it gets costly
Ray
What a cool prize package. Thanks for doing this, Stuart. And thanks to DeWALT!
I have some TSTAK but more ToughSystem 2.0. It annoys me that I need an adapter plate to connect the two. I’d like to standardize on ToughSystem 2.0, and would like to see the following in either half or full 2.0 sizes:
– Power station that fits even large FlexVolt batteries
– Jobsite radio to replace the stillborn version
– Half- and full-size coolers, including water cooler
– Fans (kinda like the new LED lights)
– Stool with casters
– Workbench kinda like Festool Mobile Workstation
– Gurney option like the upcoming ToughBuilt StackTech
– Ideally these would be sized to fit in truck bed under tonneau cover (I have 19″ of clearance)
Thanks for listening!
Jager
Waiting for a big 1″ drive impact
Hoping it’s in next summers releases.
Chris I
That is absolutely massive. 2000ft-lb in your hand? Do you build bridges in your free time?!?
Tommy kassab
I would like to see an inverter that works off a dewalt battery.
anthony smith
Yes a small one like Milwaukee has
Christopher J Lysy
Multiple color lights
James
I would like to see a smaller 12v or 20v radio with Bluetooth. My big ones are great as well as the small Bluetooth ones. I like the radio function for small work spaces and my ATV. My kids love the radio and can’t pack around mine that actually has the radio option.
Frank
Cheaper batteries
Tag
Id like to see more Telco tools.
Jared
I’m not eligible, but still want Dewalt to know I would like a single battery 120v power source. The Powerstation is cool, but massive and very expensive. I want a light duty option.
Ashley Randig
More outdoor power tools in a higher voltage. Chain saw, pole saw, sheers etc etc…
Rodney
I would like to see a power station that gives clean power that can safely power electronics.
I was very disappointed that the current model is modified sine wave. Need to be able to power laptops and sensitive electronics on the job site or a CPAP machine when camping.
Rog
I have a bunch of ToughSystem boxes and containers and would love a (nearly) all black line up of Dewalt tools to put in them. I think the McLaren line they have in Europe is cool, same as Makita’s subcompact line.
TODD
Would like to see angle die grinder,3/8″ impact with more ft/lbs and 3/4,1 impacts with atleast 2500 ft lbs….I own & use dewalt cordless tools dally. In my opinion they are best on the market hands down….the new 1/2″ impact is a beast with a powerstack battery!
Aaron
I know you guys are going heavy on the 20v but it’d be nice to see newer corded products too. would love a new corded belt sander
David Silva
I would love to see DeWalt to partner with Ego and create new products for lawn care.
Jay
Battery powered glue gun,
Dowel Joiner (DeWalt’s biscuit joiner is great and should use similar tech)…or have an option ready for when Festool’s patents finally wear out!!
Jorhay
I’d like to see more electrical or plumbing focused tools.
bg100
And at different price points. I’m engaged enough in each of the trades, but I don’t need the premium version of each of these tools/kits, because I don’t use each of them every day.
I need something between the Ryobi price and the DeWalt price, and I’d pay a smaller premium to stay in the ecosystem.
Jun Moore
I’m left-handed. A grip to attach to handle would be good. Like circular saw to be on left side, handle on the right.
Danny Long
Absolutely, more plumbing tools to compete with Milwaukee.
David
I’d love to see a nice racking system for compartment/small parts boxes/cases that is expandable and sturdy. A wall of nice parts boxes would be lovely!
Ryan
I’d like to see more attachments for the toughsystem 2.0
gregs
I would like a multi-purpose pole saw with interchangeable heads, like a pruner and chain saw. All the better if it can also be used as a short tool for close-in work.
Matt
I’d love to see a right angle die grinder, they’re a must for automotive and precise welding/machining prep.
More tstak products are also always welcome
Chris Ficken
I’d love to see a ¼” Atomic 20v ratchet, or right angle impact. Needs to be small enough to fit under dash boards and other tight places.
Nick K
This is an awesome giveaway. A full size cooler (20L) with wheels would be awesome.
I totally get that Dewalt is a professional level line of tools, but they are missing out on other DIY tools that non-professional would buy because we already have their battery system.
Mike+G
I was going to say the DC adapter but the multi-purpose pole saw would be awesome
Matthew R
I’d like to see an upgraded version of the finish nail guns. Maybe one that doesn’t ramp up.
Nick R.
I would like to see organization inserts for the ToughSystem boxes. Maybe an accessory mount for it also.
Matt B
I would like to see them build out the 12V line with more trade specific tools. In my case automotive (90 degree small impact, etc.) but they also lag Milwaukee in electrical and plumbing a bit.
Some consumer type tools in 12v could be useful too. Enough regular folk buy yellow for hobbyist tools to have a market. Thinking glue guns, soldering irons, etc.
Tom B
I agree with all of this
Joe+L
I agree. I think they are focused too much on general prosumers and should have some more products targeted at specific trades.
Lance L
Battery powered glue gun.
Greg
I would like to see an adapter for the pro shallow and deep parts case so they will connect with other Dewalt products. Also a cart that is adjustable that would hold a stack of the pro cases. I have like 30 of them and i am looking to build a cart but a prefab would be great.
Bill C
I’m a simple guy, with simple needs. Update the DCB102 dual charger with an added spot to charge an 8V battery and I’ll be a happy guy too.
jason gloekler
Continued expansion of the 12v line. 1/4” impact would be awesome. Max tools has it, now make it yellow.
Corey Ryan
Lets get a Dewalt Positive Placement Nailer!
Orangehammerguy
For all my fellow framers out there I’m sure you can agree that we need 60v batteries that can be in the rain. We have two batteries that won’t charge anymore after being used in the rain.
Austin
I’d like to see them expand their 12v line, I like the platform but the options are limited to the most basic tools (would love a 12v palm nailer). Full trade specific 12v/20v tool lines/sets would be nice offered with kit boxes or tough system connectable boxes for wood/metal framing, electrical, plumbing, mech. ect. An actual capable (suction) tough system connectable vacuum (not like the ~$450 dust collector). 10″ flexvolt table saw everyone’s been asking for years, a flexvolt fullsize 16 gallon shopvac and 10-1/4″ flexvolt circular saw. Just to name a few lol.
Mark
Hello, excited for the giveaway, i am big Dewalt user with lots of tools and Toughsystem boxes. I know a few other brands have them, but i would love to see Dewalt come out with a 20V battery adapter that provides standard 120 VAC output like Milwaukee and Ryobi offer. It would be nice to have more then just USB output but full 110VAC to power other small items with a battery.
Ryan Saxton
I would like to see Dewalt come out with more specialized storage options such as racks for pliers or holsters for drivers sort of similar to what you’d see on a workshops French cleat wall, but portable.
Eric
A nice compact brad nailer – if there’s a way to shrink a cordless nailer to get closer in “head size” to an air nailer, that would be a big improvement.
Robert
A cordless nail gun that can handle multiple nails sizes. Perhaps a modular system, where there is a core section, such as power section and controls. And then the section that has to be size specific that can be swapped in and out from the core section, that you could buy for different nail sizes. Absolutely hate having to have so many different nail guns for different nail sizes. Wasteful and not ecologically sound.
MattW.
I’d like them to include or bring back thoes little bit holders that came with the 18v tools. I would like to see an update to thoes bit holders or hanging clips that makes them stand out to milwaukee which already actively trys. Fyi I know there’s a million amazon specials or 3d printed options but I’d like oem choice without going to a authorized repair shop to buy them. They could team up with noholster or do something special like that to set them apart.
Kingsley
You can buy official dewalt bitholders that fit dewalt tools. N131745 is the part number. They don’t sell them in Europe for some strange reason (like we don’t need to use bits here or something). I’ve imported them from the USA via ebay, but I’ve got them from China too via Aliexpress.
Alex
I would like to see a further expansion of the Tstak line in North America. The European market has gotten some nice upgrades and I still feel the Tstak line is a great sweet spot in terms of size and pricing for many people.
Matthew S
I’d like to see some higher quality/lumen lights that work with both the 12 and 20V platforms
Ross
I’ve been considering buying the cordless 7 1/4″ miter saw for a while now. We have multiple 10″ and 12″ miter saws, which are a necessity on some jobs, but it also gets old carrying them around. Frankly I don’t really need a cordless miter saw, so I’d really be more interested in a corded or dual power version.
Phillip
I would like to see Dewalt come out with a sliding miter saw solution with forward rails or something similar to the Delta/Rigid saw that allows a full 12″ sliding miter saw to be mounted much closer to the wall behind the saw.
Their sliding saws are the best! They just take up a lot of room in a skinny shop.
Kevin
I’d like Dewalt to come out with better recessed drill bits. Those things are way too flimsy. I’d also like to see full size table saw rather than portable.
Zack
I’d love to see a cordless siding nailer, or a V2 cordless roofing nailer that can accept longer nails that work for Hadie Board siding. I need to redo my roof and siding next year, and would love to be able to do it with one tool instead of needing two
bg100
Me too! Cordless siding nailer, good suggestion!
Eugene C
I’d like to see DeWalt come out with another high end walk behind mower that uses Flexvolt batteries exclusively as well as other outdoor equipment that utilizes flexvolt since the 40v platform is dead now.
Kingsley
I’ve got loads of ideas… but here are a few..
I’d like to see Dewalt bring out a 12v lantern style torch with a hook on. A mini version of the DCL050.
A 12v powerstack battery would be very cool.
A compact 12v version of the DCB094K USB-C power source would be very nice.
A decent Flexvolt cyclonic vacuum with really good suction. I’ve got the dust extractor, DCV586… but it’s not very good, if you use a bag. Not using a bag means you have to buy new filters regularly.
A 12v based dewalt inspection drone/quadcopter would rock!
A 12v motorised torque wrench would be amazing for automotive.
A motorised remote control laser level that can also follow a target (so you can use it for building a wall plumb without lines)… I don’t know if anyone makes such a product.
A 12″ flexvolt concrete cutter.
A slightly bigger bladed 20V or 12V version of the DCS571. The current size doesn’t quite cut through 2×4… which is annoying. It’s probably 2mm off.
Flexvolt jump-starter.
David N.
I really need Dewalt to come out with a 20V Nibbler!
I’d buy one in a heart beat, my drill add-on one is a pain in tight spaces.
Milwaukee has it, where ya at Dewalt?!
Rob H
I’d still like to see someone come out with an electric jack for roadside use. I think this would be a HUGELY popular product. It could have a small wired or wireless remote to allow for safe jacking of a vehicle without being under it running the jack arm up and down manually.
Gator W
I agree, and a off road jack would be a great asset to us off road enthusiasts.
And how about a solar battery charging station again for us off road people Way back in the woods.
Dave
I would love to see a Toughsystem lower rolling case with pull out drawers. My current deep rolling case often gets under-utilized because I don’t like having to unstack everything to get into it.
Also an updated 120v power station (compatible with toughsystem 2.0 and pure sinewave)
Chris I
I would really like a 24ah battery in the 2ah form factor.
Come back to this in 10yr and we’ll see if I was right.
Kingsley
240ah@60V the same size as the 12v 2ah please!
douglas kwan
i would like to see inventory cabinets like vidmar but not built so heavy. kind of like a lighter tool box withe 3-4 inch deep draws. 30-36 in wide
Hammerstump
Let’s see some more adapters for ToughSystem! A flat worktop, a caster base, spacer layers that incorporate tool hangers or pouches… I’m constantly transporting tools between home and the cabin and have really come to depend on all my ToughSystem cases.
Oh, and how about a new ToughSystem radio? Third time’s the charm 😀
Francisco
Corded adapters. Hopefully an upgraded miter saw version.
raath
Would love them to make a quality heated jacket. Pretty much all their offerings are subpar. And I refuse to buy one until they do!
Mike
Some many ideas. Improved 12v line, more focus on wood working tools, fix the flexvolt ac adapter issue.
Ryan
I’d love to see dewalt (or anyone for that matter) create some kind of vertical arrangement boxes where instead of tubs stacked on each other, there was a tall box with a vertical hinged door that opens the “cabinet” and the tools are racked out for display and easy grabbing. I could image it easily converting from wall hung to wheeled totes. On site they would be opened up with a kick stand behind and tools used and easily put back. I hate digging into a box to pull out tools from under neath each other getting beat up or triggers getting hit. Or having a slew of tool boxes all over the place and in my way. I see this arrangement giving much easier rapid access when doing a job and easier to assess what is missing / returned before leaving the job. These could lay down flat if there was no way of proving up on work site. This comes from the mind of a high school woodshop teacher and quasi fine woodworker hobbyist that does a bit of light construction and remodeling on the side……
Mikakey
I would like to see a battery powered flare tool like navac has.
Brian
I’ve got a decent assortment of pro-organizers and tough-system cases. My dream additions would be #1 magnetic silicone parts trays that are sized to replace the bins in the organizers. #2 additions to the 8v line, I have the screwdriver; hot-glue-gun, power stapler, Dremel type tool are all viable 8v craft tools. #3 accessory side rails that mount in the carrier bracket pockets on the side of the tough system boxes.
Roger
-Products should be only brushless motors. Stop producing brushed products.
-Brushless updated 7-1/4″ miter saw, and lighter frame.
-BL 10″ miter in either 20v or 60v.
-BL shopvac with supposed longer runtime. 2x20v or double slot.
-BL vac version that’s Toughsystem compatible. Self cleaning system not required, keeping cost lower.
-Dividers for small bit cases. As a way to reuse sm. toughcases for screws and small parts. Existing item, but only seen in medium toughcase as a separate purchase. Many already have a slew of empty sm. toughcases.
-X12 tower light
-The X12 line is still small, but not priced as attractive as the 20V. Expansion is well needed.
-Updated 60V recip saw with longer stroke.
-Updated 18G brad nailer, fixing (removing) flywheel recoil. The recoil is a bane in the nailer line.
-Updated BL 20v tire inflator.
-Fix the oil leak in 20V pole saw.
-There is still potential for the toughsystem garage rack system. Build around the connectability of the boxes. Options for the double 1×1 rails.
Dave
More hex shank drill bits
Brad fisher
20v 110 inverter. Portable multicharger
Brian Lamb
More toughstack accessories. Toughbuilt spread comes to mind. Need to go all in. Expanded 12v line would be nice to compete with milwaukee M12
Koawaft
Combo tool, drill and skill saw
Kit with hammer drill and multi tool.
Kevin
I would like them to make small craft things like glue guns and hot foam cutters, etc. It seems like Ryobi is the only brand that does this.
Justinguy15
I would love to see a Dewalt Rotary tool
Mark F
I’d like to see more workbench style options, and more options for hanging tools on the outside of their boxes
Patrick S
This will sound crazy….but a drill driver with a 3/8 anvil instead of a Jacobs chuck, so that I can use socket bits but still have a low torque chuck setting
Derek Rausch
What about putting a 1/4 hex to 3/8 adapter in your current drill and use that ? I’ve done that more than once.
Jesse
I’d like to see them replace more pneumatic tools with the 20v line, such as air hammers and right angle die grinders.
Al
As always, thanks for the oppurtunity! Not sure why but i feel a lot of upgrades loose good features. 2 examples: the compact recip saw and the fan. I would like to see The compact recip saw come upgraded with the new one being as small, improved anti vibration and 4 way blade direction. rafter hook a plus. the fan, why no 1/4 thread and loos of hybrid option on the new guy? I love my circular saw, my fav impact and driver is yellow. Just ordered the barrel grip, looking forward. For storage, please beat milwaukee to having the bottom unit have a drawer or a cabinet. something that doesnt require unstacking. even a vaccum thats the base would be better!
Keep up the innovation and quality!
thank you!
Jesse L.
I would like to see a tool box that has internal tied downs to be able to secure just a tool or two depends on what you need to take for the job.
RD
Expand the DeWalt 8v lineup.
John T
I’d like to see high CRI lighting products. Also, a good bench top jointer to pair with the excellent 735 planer.
jon
I am rather hoping for a 120v (2 x flexvolt) mower.
I would also like to see more form factors for the tough system organizers. Packout offers a lot more variations an fitted tool sets.
Big Richard
Not 2x FlexVolt, but they do have two FlexVolt mowers coming out this winter/spring. A push (DCMWP600) and self propelled (DCMWSP650).
Kevin
I’d are with the rotary tool comment. My Dremel is one of the few corded power tools I regularly use, and probably the only handheld one.
I’d also love to see a powered punch down tool for Ethernet.
Kevin
Please make a power pruner smaller and lighter than the Dcpr320 power “lobber” to keep it closer in size and weight to a hand clippers for lighter branches. This could be useful for older people with arthritic hands to cut down on fatigue from repetitive hand cuts like work in vineyards, nurserys, and gardens.
Also make it so when you stop pulling the trigger the blade stops. When you let go, the blade opens. This would be more intuitive, and safer for the user. The only power pruner that I know of that is like this is made by “zenport industries” and it is expensive ($300+) and looks cheap like no-name offshore tool. The zenport tool is only 14.4 volts (4s1p), but is strong enough to cut through high tensile steel wire and the battery lasts 400 or more cuts. 12v could be sufficient, or smaller 1p packs in a 20v tool. Must have Replaceable blades
Thank you for your consideration
I was going to share a few more ideas but after a brief search, dewalt already makes those tools.
Saulac
Dewalt, please expands to mobile supply storage solutions. Modern construction requires much more than just lumber and nails. And commonly used hardware/fasteners/connectors… are not cheap…but there are few option for storage for them…the current mobile storage solutions that all brands offering right now are too expensive and small. There should be something cheaper and bigger. Along the line of stackable plastic totes. Yes , they are out there… but make unique and put your name on it.
Joel Wiebner
I’d like to see DeWalt make a bottle opener!
Tony
I’d love to see a replacement for the ToughSystem radio and a corded/cordless ToughSystem vacuum.
Mike921
I’d like to see an open shelf type module for Tstak or TS, something you could shove an extension cord into.
Tim Edwards
Power Station 2.0- Surprise me with amazing functionality for the DIY @ home!
Kyler
I would love to see some more tough system hardware organization. One of their tree drawer units with boxes in the drawers would be awesome.
Matthew Schulz
I would like Dewalt to come out with more 120v flexvolt tools. I like that they can be plugged in for everyday use but have the possibility to be portable when needed.
Dave (not here)
Awesome giveaway, thanks Stuart!
As far as what I’d like to see in the future:
– Tough System – either a bottom rolling drawer box or a dolly that doesn’t require a Tstak adapter
– More OPE – something similar to the quik-lok style power unit that can power a weed whacker, pole saw, etc.
– Plumbing solutions like a cordless drain snake
DeWalt makes some great tools, but it seems like Milwaukee has such a broader range that in a field like mine (general property maintenance) I have to exist in the red system so my yellow coworkers can borrow stuff from me to go to a drain clearing or tree trimming job…
Brandon
More ToughSystem 2.0 accessories would be great. Just browsing around Printables and such there are some pretty neat ideas that could be improved upon (whether currently compatible with ToughSystem or competitors).
Rick Casner
Would love to see Dewalt come out with a tools designed for auto mechanics. They are fantastic with DIY/trade tools.
dcoleman88
Expanded 12V tool selection
Alex
I’d like to see a few higher end hand tool offerings, possibly borrowed from other Black&Decker brands. Availability being the biggest concern.
Rick Casner
Yard equipment so I can use all the same battery ecosystem.
TDino
DCB1800B but with FULL sine wave output.
At least 1 100w USB-C in/out.
Brad
I would like to see them create some cabinets/toolboxes with adjustable feet instead of casters, or at least make a kit you could swap.
jec6613
A battery powered glue gun or soldering iron. I’m not picky about 12V VS 20V, just something to cut some more cords.
Also a proper replacement to the 40V backpack blower, preferably in flexvolt.
When you have a decent amount of property, you want the weight on your back and the runtime of the second pack.
What I’d do if I won? Well, powerstack batteries are always nice, but mostly the TS charging station would just help consolidate battery storage a ton, and the USB-C is great when I’m away from home.
aaron+s
The items in the giveaway are exactly the sort of things that I used to wish they would come out with!
Bucket boss style inserts for hand tools in the taller tough system and t-stack boxes
Toughsystem:
More ways to attach things to the outside or inside of the boxes in the stack. More ways in which they’re not just “dumb boxes”. Mount for tough case on sides of boxes.
T-stack:
More workshop options:
smaller rolling base that doesn’t stick out so much from the sides of the stack of drawers
Bring over The tough case caddy from Europe
Again give me ways to mount tough case or other styles of holsters on the sides. Drawer units in particular are often used in a semi-permanent setup and would benefit from acknowledging this. Right now I have a stack of drawers on a wheel base that I use for bike tools and have rigged pegboard to the side
Garret
Awesome giveaway.
I’d love to a dewalt earth auger comparable to the RYOBI 40v.
Additionally a way to roll your tstak or tough system straight out of a truck bed similar to what it looks like toughbuilt is doing with their transported.
Freddy
I’d like to see Dewalt come up with a modular storage system that can Easly be loaded up in a truck like a paramedic bed folding as you push it in back of the truck bed.
Josh T
I would LOVE it if Stanley Black & Decker (DeWalt’s parent company) would bring back the Pro Series Deep 10 Compartment Organizer (model #014710R) that was discontinued. Even in a market dominated by heavy-duty modular toolboxes designed for job site use in rough environments, those Stanley deep organizers filled an important need for affordable, space efficient in-workshop storage. They were priced fairly, high quality, and were the perfect size for organizing/storing a wide variety of parts. Harbor Freight makes a copy of this organizer, but the quality is inferior compared to the original Stanley model. I miss being able to buy the Stanley organizers for around $16 each. They now sell for $30+ each (new “old stock”) on eBay which is too expensive to keep buying.
As far as tools go, I think DeWalt should release a 1/2″ cordless (20V) router.
Ezzy
I’d love to see a portable microwave like Makita came out with.
Travis Richardson
I would love to see some more organizers. Different varieties and variations.
Jason
Need a Metal Nibbler in the linup
Omegadex
Battery Powered Jack and tire inflated together would be amazing
f0xx
I’d like to see a 20v nibbler, a hydraulic (quiet) impact driver, more toughsystem2.0 (especially a shop/van rack system) cord adapter (battery tools on mains power) and 120v inverter (maybe a compact single battery version and a larger multiple battery version).
David Friend
I’d like DeWalt to make some better finish guns that are more compact and dependable driving nails.
Joe
Updated power station that utilizes flexvolt batteries, pure sine wave, and solar rechargeable
Jnleu
Like Makita, cooler, coffee and microwave
Sam Greenfield
I’d love to see DeWALT tools (like the table saw) that license the Sawstop safety features.
Evan
I think they should make a line of black tools with yellow accents, they’d look sweet!
A tstak compatible light/charging station would be killer too.
Milwaukee makes this wobble-capable impact extension, I’ve never seen one like that from dewalt. Makes it easy to get on screws/nuts/bolts when you don’t have the clearance directly above the head.
Brian A Jahrling
I would like to see some good gas powered equipment like chainsaw ect. Not enough good choices
Chris
I’ve already emailed DeWalt about maybe a cordless soldering iron. I have a aftermarket one that works on DeWalt batteries and it’s very useful. A cordless long barrel hammer would also be useful if they could make it like Chicago pneumatics “the big nasty”.
Dan
I’d like to see an improved oil reservoir cap on their battery chain saw.
One that doesn’t leak….
JD
Outdoor tools that take a pair of 20V batteries? The blower and string trimmer just seem to chew through my 5ah batteries.
Shawn Michael Sprecher
I personally would love to see the xtreme 12v line expanded more, a t50 staple gun would be a great addition!
Philip+Proctor
I’d like to see a Tough System dolly, a 4 drawer unit, and a 2 drawer unit with a big drawer and a small drawer.
Luke
I would like to see some smaller sized tools run off the 20v batteries. It would help standardize batteries and could be done utilizing something similar to the two way charger included in the prize. A cord could run from the 20v battery to the smaller tool (glue gun, Dremel tool, etc). This would still allow for portability but also reduce tool weight in the end users hand.
Juan alvarez
Rolling work bench like Milwaukee . Needs dedicated battery charger and dedicated tool storage drawer made for Dewalt tools
Ted!
I find myself constantly using two drills for various diy projects because changing back and forth between a drill bit and a screw bit is a pain.
Yeah, I can use the more expensive drill bits with hex shanks and a quick change chuck, but that doesn’t seem as fun as designing a multi-headed drill….so there ya go.
Also, other commenters have great ideas, so +1 to like all of those.
Charlie_D
I’d like to see storage products with a yellow (or any other light color actually) interior so items are not lost in the deep, dark, black well of an interior. Yellow would match their general color scheme and would work well. No idea what this might cost to produce.
MoogleMan3
Come on Dewalt, we need a full size, dual temp hot glue gun. Don’t let ryobi corner that market!
And a good 12v brushless jigsaw. The new milwaukee kicks ass.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Kokies
20V Power inverter for batteries .
Ray U.
Would love to see Dewalt come out with more outdoor prpduct types to compete with Ryobi’s broader selection but poorer overall quality.
Also, more of the nailers converted over to the 20V max system (such as siding the nailer or sheathing stapler)
Chaz F
I’d love to see an LED stand light to light up a job for work in the dark or a low light area in a building with no power.
Sam
I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on the new 12″ flexvolt miter saw, I would have already if they made it in 10″. Same with the cordless 7¼” miter saw if it was a dual bevel, the old hitachi I use is a single bevel and I can’t bring myself to spending that kind of money on these if they’re gonna be in any way limited with something simple like that. Coiled siding/ framing nailer is big up there for me as well. All my nailers are pneumatic, wasn’t a fan of seeing how the current 20v ones have that wind up but if they can figure out a way around that I’ll be switching everything over to those as well.
Alex
Back pack blower, 60v with multiple battery bays would be a great addition l.
Terry
I would like a brushless rotary tool, like a dremel. Prefer 20v.
Jason H
I would like a 12 inch non sliding cordless miter saw with shadow long and good dust collection
bg100
I really need a cordless 18ga stapler! There are brad nailers that are staple combos, but those are air tools; I’ve seen none in the 20v line. I use a ton of 1/4″ crown staples in my tiny homes, and that’s my last “tethered” tool.
How about a 60v (2x60v?) stand up air compressor? I know the battery drain would be steep, but for those times when I’m remote and need a bunch of air, I hate packing and firing up the generator for a couple hours, and I’m deep enough in batteries to accomodate the heavy drain.
Great giveaway ideas, I’d be happy with any of them!
Jonatan Gonzalez
I would like to see better kits available. The best one in my opinion put now, 11/2023, is the one Lowe’s is offering, I think it’s all XR tools, and it’s 7 of em for 600$. Can’t beat that.
Also, it seems DeWalt doesn’t like straying from the norm too much, and I’d like to see someDIY tools cardboard cutters out there, soldering guns, glue guns, and, on the premium side, a cooler(INTRODUCING THE V120 18 HOUR COOLER!), a coffee maker, microwave.
In terms of storage, I’d like dividers available to separate my tools from my blades inside the XL tough system tool box.
Casey
I would like to see a power brush/patio cleaner, a cordless stick vacuum, and also a cordless soldering iron. All great tools that I would love to be able to have made by DeWalt instead of others.
Griffin
Hope DeWalt releases a 60v mower!
Steve H
I would really like a compact 20v screwdriver. Similar to the 12v model: DCF601F2.
Delfino
I would like Dewalt to release more USB tools, like glue gun, small fan, soldering pen
Mike D.
Would love to see a new line of tools that are interchangeable between battery and corded.
Ryan
I would like to see custom foam inserts with preset DeWalt cut outs. Like the DeWalt tool kits to fit into the tough system draw boxes. A lot of us contractors want to be more organized but need help getting there.
Ronald Youmans
I’d like to see a cooler option for the 2.0 system.
Al
Battery-powered glue gun. Seriously considering getting Ryobi…but I’d have a different battery system.
So, I keep waiting for the technological equivalent of a coffee coaster. No need for multi-speed, variable clutch, software-activated tech.
20V version of the 5-in-1 assembly driver. I bought a tiny 20V drill and a right-angle attachment…and it’s disappointing. At least…give us a 20V-to-12V adapter so we can stick with the same batteries.
Mosh
I would like to see 20v expanded trade specific tools.. (Electrical)
4v expanded system (pocket impact driver)
Luke Welte
I would like to see DeWalt come out with a new ToughSystem 2.0 radio.
LukeA
I’d love to see some DeWalt upgrades to the track saw. Adding anti-tip safety, some 90° add ons for the track and other upgrades would be appreciated!
Mark J
I’d like to see a less expensive variant of the PEX tools. The crimper, and even the expander for PEX A, is quite out of a DIY guy’s price range. Just picked up a Ryobi crimper, it’s the only non-Dewalt cordless tool I own, but I just couldn’t justify four-figures for the DeWalt equivalent.
Lenadas
Like to see a tough system four wheel cart system of some sort. Have more boxes than I can stack on the dolly system.
Kevin R H.
I’d like to see a cordless low profile powered car jack.
Mohammad B Nasir
I would like to see Dewalt come out with a battery powered palm nailer.
Tughom
I would like to see Dewalt make a cordless pipe snake.
Steve F
An affordable small parts storage system for a workshop that has the ability to become mobile by drawer/stack/etc.
John
I am new to the Dewalt eco system and I am kind of interested in what would probably be considered accessories.
Heated clothing that competes with Milwaukee for instance
Dane
I’ve been dedicated to DeWalt for the last 8 years and have yet to be disappointed in the slightest. I’m really looking forward to their home application products. I haven’t had the opportunity to test the new toughstack series though
Bryan
I would really like to see Dewalt continue to expand on their power stack series. These batteries are awesome! I have the smallest powerstack battery and you really see a difference when using them in power hungry tools. I can only imagine what a 5Ah powerstack battery would be like!
PatrickD
I’d love to see a mounting plate for tough system boxes, it seems strange to me that they have not released one. I want to be able to snap a stack of boxes onto the floor of my trailer.
Scott K
What an awesome giveaway! I’d love to have another DeWalt battery, especially one of the new PowerStacks. I’m currently sharing one battery between a few tools (less than ideal).
I’d love to see an expansion of their hand tools. I love the drivers that I own and would expect future offerings to be of equally high quality and ergonomics.
Gus
I’d like to see Dewalt make their tool cases and chargers with the ability to quickly and easily mount above your workbench or pegboard wall then remove them even easier to toss in your truck, toolbar, toolbox, etc.
Richard Miller
An expanded reach, upgrade system for the miter saw stand.
Nick Storrs
I would love to see a charger/inverter ‘generator’ that clicks into the tstak or tough system. It would also be great to see a worktop like some of the other systems or even one that spanned 2 stacks of drawers.
Michael C Porter
12V equivalents of most of their tools to the 20v. They have started that but lagged for years. I love the 12V screwdriver and would have stacked out my 12V if they had it. By time they released the recip, hammer drill, and circular saws my batteries were dying and I ended up in their larger 20V tools. It’s neglected and fills a niche.
Josh DuVall
I’d love to see more varied storage and shelving options so I can organize and clean up my mess of a garage/shop. Perhaps some more options for the rail storage system.
Rob Lindsay
I’d like to see larger batteries for the popular entry level combo kits people buy. At least one larger battery should be included.
Rick Bender
more HVAC and electrical specific tools.
Joseph Tampien
I’d like to see more accessories for the tough system.
Timothy P. Evans
Automotive jack. Heavy duty. Battery operated. Remote control, or at least wired.
John N
I’d like to see a 20v, multi-battery adapter, similar to the charging box, where the batteries can be charged, but also switched to act as a power station, with an inverter and AC plugs. Essentially creating a power bank for emergency situations.
NoahL
I’d like to see dewalt make a rolling drawer or cabinet TSTAK/tough system bottom of stack box! So there’s no need to take boxes off the top to access bottom box. Either that, or make a collapsible dolly (TSTAK has a non collapsing version of this) that you can put any box on the bottom you choose. Also, make tstak 2.0 available in the USA! We want ip65 rated TSTAK boxes too!
Garret Hunter
Just to check, you know Craftsman VersaStak is basically tstack 2.0 right?
Rich
More ope
Mch16748
I would like a smaller power station
Nathan
I would live a power stack battery generator. Give Ecoflow a rub for their money.
Javier Villegas
I would like to see Dewalt cater more to HVAC techs and installers. A compact 12V pipe cutter would be a good start.
T Biggs
In Canada, so not eligible for the giveaway, unfortunately…but on top of the many other great suggestions I’d like to see a hydraulic impulse impact driver.
Larger cordless router
Expanded 12v lineup
Richard Dunlap
I would love to see DeWalt reissue a 10″ sliding miter saw. I’m also not a fan of cordless miter saws – there is generally power in houses by the time finish trim is being installed, as well as in shops and other places this type of tool should be used.
Robert J Canedo
One commenter said the Yellow is a bit much. What about a new line like black series or something.
Ozni Lewis
Ozni Lewis
I would like to dewalt with a compact size battery threader.
Alex
12V or Atomic Automotive stuff would be great, compact ratchets, right angle impacts. It could attract a lot of people from Milwaukee, which is only choice right now
james costa
I would like to see a 10,000 lumen work light dual powered.
Denco
Perfect prize for the guy like me, who has a whole lot of DeWalt 20v tools, but only 2 batteries. Thanks
Kevin Davis
Band files, both 1/2 and 3/8 versions. 1/4 square drive impact (12 or 20volt), 1 inch impact, right angle impact, a brushless right angle drill, a die grinder, hot glue gun, and a soldering station.
For storage it would be nice if the came out with a mechanics tool cart
Geoffrey Gohs
I Love Dewalt tools would love to see more tough stack accessories or even a create your own combo tool sets. I perfer dewalt over all other brands. Their durability and long lasting batteries have done very well for me where as I have watched other brands fail. I was very impressed with the heated jacket I bought a five years back and is still working and in good shape considering what it’s been thru. Thanks for the opportunity and and look forward to what dewalt will come up with next
Kevin
I would like to see a system that allows people to charge their tools without having to remove the batteries. So maybe a wireless charging system. This would be interesting or something that would help with ergonomics of the tools that are used.
David Duarte
I’d like to see a 20 volt tire inflator
Travis
Have that too. Don’t you people ever look at the website
Aaron
They need a 60v top handle chainsaw! Makita has one. Milwaukee has one. I’d like to be able to use my 60v flexvolt battery but they only have a pruning saw that’s 20v. Booooo.
Travis
The 12” is a top handle. Put a flexvolt battery in it and vwaula
Big Richard
They have a 60v top handle saw, the DCCS674 – https://www.acmetools.com/dewalt-60v-max-top-handle-chainsaw-bare-tool-dccs674b/885911908818.html
BW Johnson
Pistol grip mini circular saw (4.5 inch)
Ken
Would love to see a tough system vacuum.
Justin
I would like to see a workbench mount to compliment the drawer boxes. (E.g you mount a workbench to the top of two stacks.
Larry Arnette
I would like to see dewalt come out with cordless warming and cooling products. A way to warm up food on the job site. A way to keep food and drinks cold throughout the day .
Tony
DeWalt jump pack for the car utilizing the removable batteries would be cool.
Travis
They have that too
Steve
Solder fume extractor.
DrewS
A tough system 2.0 dolly with conduit bender holders would be great. And more tough system van storage options like what tough built is coming out with.
Saul C
i would like to see a next gen version of their 8 1/4 inch Flexvolt Tablesaw. Their current version is pretty old and i think they could really outperform the competition with the 60v
Steve
Would love to see more storage options.
Roman J, Sabatini
24-28 inch Brushless Battery Powered Chainsaw…
Bryan fabros.
I would like to see dewalt put some kind of storage organizer for power or hand tools that can be attached to a rubbermaid cart or come up with their own cart.
Tucker
Garage storage system add-ons. I have their shelves and a couple drawers but it’s hard to find extra shelves or drawers. Maybe some more types of each?
Benjamin Kleese
I think if DeWalt could expand on their Tough system line up with tough system accessories like cord holders, level holders. And places to mount batteries and chargers on the inside of their Tough system containers would be awesome.
Andrew
Bring back the power station! I’ve got a ton of batteries and I’d love for them to be useful to power AC devices during an outage.
Travis
It’s never gone away
Justin Hale
Would love to see a cordless coffee maker that uses k-cups
Brent matis
Brushless dremel type tool or tire inflator
Mike N
I would like to see them continue on some of their outdoor offerings small trimmers etc (or other lawn/landscaping use). Really adds the usefulness of having extra batteries around.
Dale56
I’d like to see a 20v scroll saw.
Pat M
I would like to see shelving for the dewalt small parts trays. Also more automotive and fabrication tools both from Dewalt and Milwaukee.
Robert Doyle
Would like to see an updated model to the cordless 23ga pin nailer that would accept 2″ pin nails.
Champs
Honestly, I just want to a rolling base that’s functional without unstacking everything on top.
So long as you’ve got wheels why not a ten gallon compressor? Split the tanks 2/8 and you’ve got something for jobs of a few different sizes.
Jeremy Fletcher
I would like to see a 60v (single flexvolt) ac inverter with some real power output for a table saw or a air compressor as a backup supply
STEVE
They need to make a backpack vacuum, preferably with the capability to use line voltage and battery. If they don’t make one soon I am going to buy the red one and paint it yellow.
Zach C
DeWalt needs more competitive nailers. The flywheel setups are out of date and cumbersome. Several brands have adopted nitrogen systems, and I’ve bought into reds platform for an efficient nailer, though I’m yellow at heart.
Eric
I’d like to see a 60v jobsite Microwave.
Matthew Shearing
I would like a DeWalt cow tail trimmer. It would save a ton of time. Dairy farms all over would use it
Aniston
DEWALT Mini jump start booster, battery bank.
Joellikestools
It would be cool to see a cordless carton stapler or a glue gun.
Dale56
I’d like to see a 2 battery 60v vacuum.
JW
I would like to see more storage options for smaller components.
Kurtis Lloyd
I’d really like to see a pure sine wave power station with enough juice to power a 120v/240v
Welder with 20 amps or so.
I like the idea of running off 120v but supplemented by the batteries so as to not trip a breaker.
Mark
I would like Dewalt to sell a left side 20v 7 1/4 in circular saw.
Doug Molnari
A nail gun that shoots a nail faster and doesn’t need to ramp up
Rudy Staab
I would like to see Dewalt Come out with and electric kombi with attachments.
Craig
Would love to see glue gun and soldering tools. Also more left handed options for tools where it matters.
Daniel
I love all my Dewalt Tools and love the TSTAK collection just wish they would have a wall mounting system like there is for Tough system.
I also would like to see 2Stage snow blower.
Thanks
ChrisB
I would really love to see dewalt have a base box for tough system with drawers, or even a fold down acess bin. Biggest draw back to the tough system is having to unstack the boxes. I just bought 2 of the drawer systems and I only want more.
Gabe
I really like there cantilever toolboxes, but love if they made them more heavy duty or even metal
Tom P
I would love to see DeWalt come out with a 20v tire inflator. I love the idea of this battery box!
Damien
I would like to see Dewalt come out with a tool line( hand & power) dedicated for electricians
Tom
I would like to see dewalt come out with a bevel gear 10 in miter saw. I want to get my hands on the 12 in, but for light weight and portability, I would love to see a sinilar 10 in size.
I would also like to see the 7-1/4 in miter saw upgraded to a bevel gear to enable a dual bevel cut. I use the 7-1/4 most often but the lack of a dual bevel hurts my efficiency.
I would also like to see them upgrade all finish nailers to a similar setup as the pin nailer. Atomic version 18 ga nailer?!?!
Lucas W
I would love a chainsaw attachment for the 60V power head!
Pete M
DEWALT bring the tool specific precut kaizen foam insert for the tstak line to the US. Currently they are available in Europe.
Also make available replacement bins for the shallow tstak boxes. There is no reason to have available bins for the deep storage boxes but not the shallow boxes.
TylerJ
12v Hot Glue Gun
12v Soldering Iron
12v/20v clamp fan (4-5″ like the green one)
J_Lopez_12
I am hopeful that Dewalt will create a plug-in power adapter for the 12v and 20v systems. I can think of at least three situations this may come in handy;
1. When unable to or forgot to recharge the batteries the night before.
2. Run out of battery and there is still work to be done.
3. When working in the shop and cordless is not necessary and therefore can cut down on the wear and tear of the batteries and chargers.
Maybe not feasible or completely practical, but can nevertheless wish for it.
MikeJ
It would be cool to have a USB screwdriver that has a head that you can adjust to different angles for small projects around the house, and have it come in a sweet holster that also has a pouch to hold a couple screws.
If it could wirelessly charge while in the holster, double bonus.
Will Cooley
Would love to see a compact dust blower similar to Makita’s!
R.F.
Coil nailer with a wider range of nail capacity. Ring shank or smooth. ¾” to 3″
Isaiah Alley
I’d like DeWalt to have dust collection systems that actually attach to other DeWalt products. I’m tired of a dozen different adapters that don’t even fit right. A DeWalt dust vac should fit a DeWalt tool.
Chaz
I would like to see combo kits
that matter
Liam Waters
Compete with Toughbuilt on rolling toolbox drawers and the handcart/truck. And a utility cart that integrates with the rolling toolbox drawers.
Greg
Hey Dewalt! How about a cordless post hole digger?
Seth Rowell
I would like to see more cordless vacuum options.
I’m thinking smaller portable vac, but with a bigger filter and more power (2 batteries like the lawnmower?). It could be hooked up to a dust deputy for sawdust collection and convenient for jobsite cleanup.
Marty
The Toughsystem charging box is a great idea! I’d love to see more purpose built boxes like that and the LED jobsite light box.
Something like a box with a small air compressor, a small vacuum, or a box made for storing a specific tool, like a roto hammer with plenty of space for bits and the vac attachment.
David
I agree with the comment for a flexvolt scroll saw. How about a Sweeper brush/ paddle attachments for the flexvolt trimmer?
jake
I would like to see DeWALT come out with a pure sine wave power station (competitor to carry-on) and a wheeled bottom single deep drawer toughstack box.
Robert
An open end electric ratchet wrench would be cool. Or an electric ice chest with a compressor to keep stuff frozen or very cold.
Jake Stinebaugh
I would like to see more of household focused tools based on the 8v battery. I love my 20v tools for the bigger jobs, but the small compact footprint of my 8v gyroscopic screwdriver makes it a go-to for a lot of simple around the house jobs.
Corey Voichoskie
I would love to see DeWalt come out with more work clothing.
John R
I would like to see a new tough system radio
Scott Douglas
A dedicated pvc cutter and copper tubing cutter would be nice. The attachments for the impacts are kind if cheesy…
Also…PLEASE FIND A WAY TO CONSOLIDATE THE COMPACT PRESS TOOL AND JAWS INTO ONE BOX….no one wants to carry more boxes than necessary…M12 press can do it, Dewalt can find a way…
J.C. Arceneaux
Right angle grinder
More 20v automotive tools
Start building out the 12v lineup
Nishanthini K Aniston Kumar
Dewalt flash light rechargeable.
Graham
Pretty please use the black drill chuck with the lock from the DCD998 on more drills!
Jesse
Id really like to see more plumbing related tools like a more compact version of a pro press i just purchased the two new pipe cutters which are amazing !
Brandon
A dewalt dremel style tool would be cool to see
Matt
I would really like to see a cordless glue gun. I finally gave up hope and bought Ryobi’s offering, but would prefer something from DeWalt. I mostly solder at my bench, so it’s not as high up my list but a cordless soldering iron would be handy too
Stephen
I would love to see a corded/cordless option for either a compressor or table saw. I have the flex volt mitter saw with the available corded adapter and it definitely comes in handy. Having both options is a game changer!!
Eugenio Juarbe
I’d like to see a ToughSystem wheeled box that has drawers instead of what is currently available. That way we wouldn’t have to remove everything to get to the bottom box.
Michael D. Holtzapfel
I would like to see some cool things for my son that run on 12 or 20 volt DeWalt batteries. I like the black and yellow we are Steelers fans.
Ervey
I would like to see dewalt make a dewalt 60v auger, 60v hand winch for pulling heavy objects 60v jack and 60v coffee maker. Also dewalt should make snow shovels. Propane blowtorch. 20 v meta hand break for bending metal.
Tyler Cain
I’d like to see Dewalt actually provide some continuity with a singular storage system with the toughstack, like milwaukee has done with the packout system. Having multiple systems that don’t work with each other without buying the adapter is a bit wonky.
Jeremy
I would love a more affordable rivet nut tool similar to the new Metabo so I don’t need an air tool
Rex
Is like to see a Dewalt open tool bag and backpack that lock onto the Toughsystem boxes!
Thomas
I would love to see dewalt make battery powered palm nailer. Other than that I can’t think of anything I would use dewalt doesn’t make already
Michael Fernandez
I drove to see a rotary tool, detail sander, a dust collector for my small wood shop
PJ
They make so many great tools I have like 10 pieces from the 20v max product line but I would love to see a pocket hole jig from DeWalt that would be awesome.
Patrick Delaney
I would like to see the flexvolt line expand. I’m waiting on the hedge trimmer, I have some old narly hedges that the 18v trimmer can’t handle and need to cut by hand. I would like to see a battery vacuum that had proper suction power, the ones I’ve tried are more dust buster then shop vac.
Dan R
A lantern. I’d use it for camping or working under cabinet.
Jared
I’d love if DeWalt made a battery powered fan and more options for battery powered lights and flashlights.
Braeden Sahlman
I would like to see a coffee maker compatible with the touch system
Sean H
I would like to see DeWalt come out with modular storage solutions that could be mounted on a workshop wall or on a bench (holsters or a rack for drills and drivers, along with small parts like bits).
Additionally, storage on the Tough System 2.0 that can include peripherals, similar to the magnetic strips of the Klein storage system, as well as vertical storage for levels would be ideal.
As for tools, a miter saw with a retracting axial as opposed to the sliding rails would help decrease the space needed beyond the saw when in use.
CapnC
I’d love better garage tool storage options!
AC
I’d like a hydraulic impact driver and a right-angle die grinder, preferably at 20v. It would be great if Dewalt also put variable-speed wheels on their 20v angle grinders, it would make those tools way more versatile.
I have lots of Dewalt tools (my main 20v platform) and enjoy using them.
Thanks for working with SB&D on this giveaway and for putting up quality content every day.
Raven Whitney
I would love to see some new stackable tool boxes and all power tools in general.!! I absolutely love DeWalt power tools.!!
Dusty
I’d like to see more modularity in the ToughSystem 2.0. Give us some 1/4” mounting bosses so contractors and diy-ers can provide their own flexibility. As always, a drawer system should be able to be set on the bottom of a stack with wheels.
Craftsman forever
I would like to see a portable water pump with hose hook ups. Need a long portable ceiling work light to hang to have point downward. Maybe have a long cord to replace battery on floor.
Spencer Wurm
I would like to see more fan options like a misting one would we be perfect for my uses.
Bill sahlman
I would like to see a heater for food when you’re on remote work sites
TZ
Would like to see additions to the small ToughCase+ boxes, and more ways to integrate and connect them to TStak and ToughSystem as well.
ToughCase+ has a lot more potential than Just the Small and Medium box. At the very least the large box (available in other countries) should be purchasable as a stand alone product in the USA.
BattlefieldWill
I’d like to see a battery powered dremel style tool like Ryobi has.
Tom M
I’d like to see DeWALT come out with a cordless siding nailer based on their cordless roofing nailer.
Ted Lesch
Dewalt flexvolt micorwave, like Makitas new one!
Gib0429
I think DeWalt does a great job with their variety, however I would like to see a smaller form factor for those if it’s that are DYI-ers. I only need to charge 3 batteries when I’m helping family.
Anthony
Let’s see a 60v blower vac combo
R0UNDTREE
I’d like to see tool specific molded inserts for the tough stack system. It would be cool to slide an impact driver into a holder that would prevent it from being jostled around.
Maybe they could be included with the new tool instead of selling it with the stack system. I think that would bring more attention to the tough stack system
James
Plumbing focused tools.
James
Plumbing focused tools. They lost me when I had to expand from Bosch – it was close but Milwaukee simply had more trade focused power tools, and why would I buy into a system that had “almost” as much range? I don’t care about brand loyalty; I care about quality and efficiency.
Kevin c
I suggest a base for dewalt tough system 2.0, like milwaukee has to screw into the floor of your truck or on a cart and lock your box into it.
Also a battery operated transfer pump for plumbing/ hvac purposes.
I also would like it if there was a 120v ac adapter so you can plug in when near an outlet and batteries die(life saver).
JACOB R JOHNSON
I would love to see a redesign of the 12v battery platform, maybe a power stack system but designed like Milwaukee’s. I love my Dewalt. But the slender incorporation of the round battery is nice on the rackets and small drivers.
Mac
I’ve seen it stated here already, but I’d like to see the power supply/delivery category expand. More options to the powerstation and a corded 120v-to-battery-plate adapter
LukeS
I would like to see an inverter that accepts 2 or more DeWalt batteries and outputs 120v AC
Just Joan
I would like DeWalt to provide a black or yellow toolbox (not pink) of light weight tools for women. Like a starter toolbox for a new homeowner that allows the female buyer the option to mix and match the DeWalt tools in her new DeWalt toolbox for one package price.
Luthfur rahman
Would love to see a dewalt combo pack of tools for electrician
Anthony Stefanacci
I would love to see a power station inside of a toughsystem box that holds 4 batteries to charge and make power.
Matt S
I want to see a bottom tough system 2.0 with wheels that is a drawer unit not a top load box.
Teri Brenengen
i’m a woman and I have all DeWalt tools for my gardening and work around the house love to see something just a little lighter for smaller hands
Krisi
I would like to see more hand tools from DeWalt. Also a backpack for organizing and carrying tools on the go so your hands can be free to carry other things like a ladder or something.
Matthew
Would love to see them come out with a deeper single Tstak drawer and a deep single drawer toughsystem. Thank you for the opportunity from toolguyd and Dewalt!
itsgalf
I would like Dewalt to get some nicer power tools for plumbers. Also maybe some nicer quality hand tools – although I get other Stanley B&D brands do most of the hand tools. But I am a fan of most of my Dewalt tools.
Robert King
Wheeled base box with a tip down front door so i don’t need to unstack. Don’t need a drawer. Maybe add a way to attach bins to inside of tip down door.
Walter Louis
Job box alarm, soldering station, power jack, upgraded-stronger vacuum. Thanks for the giveaway!
Walter Louis
While struggling with battery charger today- please add realistic mounting tabs ( top accessible) so one may wall mount instead of the blind back align screw slots. One handed battery attachment and dis-attachment would be ideal without having to hold the charger in place. Look at the hacks people have published on youtube to accomplish this including taking the charger apart.
Joel Baxter
I need dewalt to bring back the DCB119. I can’t understand why it was discontinued.
AP
I’d love to see DeWalt get into detailing tools more. DeWalt branded storage for DA polishers, rotary tools, buffing pads, etc. Be nice to see some quality detailing brushes and an air foamer too.
Peter C
Id like to see a dewalt 20v battery soldering station / fume extractor. I have a diy one but itd be the one thing I use regularly that isnt dewalt lol
TexMan
Allen bits for drill drivers
TEX
More bluetooth radio options, that include AM/FM bluetooth, aux, and also would allow for plugging into charge a couple batteries at a time, but also could be ran just for radio off of 20v battery.
Matt
I would love to see Dewalt come out with like, a holiday promotional kit of kid sized functional power tools. My kid is always want to play with all my Dewalt stuff when I’m doing stuff around the house lol.
Jessica V
A tool box that’s its customized for your particular car, or overland truck
Jeremy R
I would love to see a sliding miter saw like the Bosch that can be setup close to the wall.
Romil P
I would love a traditional style pocket knife with changeable blades. I swear I’ve seen brands have them at Lowes or Home Depot, but I can no longer find any that aren’t hunting knives.
I also have been in the market for a smallish tool pouch/holster that I can strap to my thigh for when I’m doing small on call work.
Sean B
I have all dewalt for my “serious” shop tools, but find myself buying into the ryobi system for smaller, cheaper things like high pressure tire inflators, phone charging adaptors and dremmel style rotary stuff. While I don’t think I’ll ever move away from the dewalt ecosystem for our larger stuff. If we move into mobile repair, I’d feel a lot better if I didn’t have to fiddle with so many chargers. I get that sort of thing isn’t typical of dewalt’s target customer, so I’m never disappointed, but there’s definitely some missing yellow in my setup.
Kris
An adapter to turn the battery operated tools to corded would make for the ultimate tool set.
Bronson
Im stuck. I want to find the best a most modular option. Dewalt has been my goto. A fullly modular tool chest would be awesome. Something I could build on versus buying a 700 tool chest that doesn’t fit all of my tools correctly
bg100
More stuff came to mind, so I’m commenting again here 😉
The 60v recip saw really needs the 4 way chuck. It’s the most expensive recip, and it’s missing a huge feature. I’d like the 4way on the Atomic recip too.
How about a premium two port fast charger? My wife stole TWO of my yellow chargers for her giant 10ah mower batteries, otherwise they take all day to charge.
The power station should be a fast charger too.
A corded version of the tripod light.
Cordless backpack dust collector. Would pair nicely with the drywall sander.
Expanded static lighting options. I have the 12v corded workshop rack lights in my trailer. I’d like a set of exterior lights that run on the same motion sense system to light the jobsite.
Cordless jack system. Jacking floors during remodels is a bummer, and my portopower jacks are hard to maneuver in basements. I bet 60v batteries could run a hydraulic remote jack.
Inspection camera needs a refresh.
Mopar4wd
I would like to see more Tstak options. Another T stask charger or some wall hangers.
Bear Republic
I’d like to see DeWalt cone it with a great detail oscillating sander. Something in the 2 1/2″ range. A “red” competitor has one
Paul m
I’d like to see better dewalt garage tool storage and workbench option
littlehuey94
Dewalt is durable & midline cost from dependable power tools
Pete
I would like to see hard cases with the combo’s instead of bags.
James Eppich
Id like a solar panel that can charge just 1 battery or maybe even connect to something like a version 2 of the 4 port fast charger or power station.
Doug
Rechargeable screw driver with major bits in the handle.
Rechargeable 3/8″ right angle ratchet.
Rechargeable dremmel.
Cody W
I’d like to see hay/grain moisture testing equipment added to the Dewalt battery product line.
Daniel Bosman
Hello I would love to see Dewalt come out with a flexvolt back pack leaf blower. I have the DCBL772 blower and it works great but I think a 2 battery setup in a backpack blower would be awesome. Also a bigger 20v or 60 volt shop vac would be nice.
Andrew
I would love to see DeWalt come out with an oscillating drum sander.
ben
A battery operated rotary tool.
Dan H
I’d love to see 2 things. I’d love to see a Dewalt Jointer, and also a version of the tools, clamps, etc that have a “blackout” option. More or most of the tool is black with hints of yellow. Maybe pick a lineup like XR and make that lineup like that.
Layton Hood
A quarter inch ratchet comparable to others would be an amazing addition to the box.
As well as just more tough system accessories.
Adam Bratcher
Definitely a 1/4 inch ratchet I’ve been wanting one for a long time it would eliminate the last of my air tools
J
Electric riding lawn mower/garden tractor. Ego and Ryobi have them, green works soon too. But I don’t want to get into another battery system.
Something that can pull carts around, that I could put a little trailer or platform on the back and drag my tools out into the field.
Nathan Daniels
I don’t know if it’s even possible, but I’d love to see a cooler that is powered by the 20v or 60v lineup!
Lori
I’d love to see a hydraulic driver like M12 Fuel Surge.
Setterboy
A homeowner level lawnmower, battery powered of course.
Bob
Would like to see some sort of carry case for multiple hand tools.
Tomas Chavez
I would like to see DeWalt come out with more technology-based tools maybe even using AI, to help in the planning stages of a project.
Robert
Thomas,
Dewalt used to have an app program called “Dewalt Mobile Pro”. Sort of an enhanced calculator for construction. I have it on this iPad. But Dewalt discontinued it on 15 Oct 2020. No reason given. It still works on my iPad, though may not with future IOS upgrades.
Aaron
20v rotary tool
Tim OHearn
Like others have said, I’d love to see a hot glue gun. I’d also like a more traditional cordless indoor house vacuum like the Ryobi one.
Keylan
Id love more options for drop in trays and drawer organizers for the toughsystem. Or a toughsystem base with a handle that goes down enough to fit under my bed cover.
Jesse Vela
I would love to have a modular box specifically to organize my DeWalt drywall knives by sizes.
Steve R.
How about a coffee maker? Would pair perfectly on those cold mornings with a dewalt drill or impact ready to go onsite.
Ben Thompson
I would like DEWALT to make a box that accepts a chop saw and has wings that fold out for material support. Even with the ability to log on to a box would make for an easier transport with wheeled boxes
SM
Here are a few tools I would love to buy:
– cordless rotary tool with accessories
– cordless staple gun
– SAE and metric impact socket ins ToughSystem packs or in precut foam trays
Andy
I’d love for Dewalt to finally release a 10” cordless miter saw like they’ve had in Europe for years. Also a revamped 7 1/4” miter saw that is dual bevel.
Joseph Adams
7-1/4 brushless double bevel sliding miter saw,
right angle impact, 1/2” cordless router, flexvolt sawzall with rafter hook, battery palm nailer.
DeVante Daniels
I’m like for DeWalt to come out with a Hardhat and headlamp combination to compete with Klein and Milwaukee.
Trevor McDougal
Battery powered glue gun
Kris
I would like to see some kind of cordless Bar Be Que grill which would use my flex volt batteries to fry up some lunch.
Michael
It would be great if you could make a water pump for us off grid campers.
David H
I’d like to see portable lights get some attention. Plugged and battery operated in the same unit but not just a flash light or their tripod. Square LED work light comes to mind.
Dan
I’d really love to see dewalt make a 20 or 60v bottle jack. I feel like it’s doable and I love anything that makes working easier while not making me drag cords all over.
I do some roadside work and it’d be great to have a jack that can lift a vehicle with the press of a button while on the road.
Greg Hawkins
I would like to see a multi light work light similar to the 20v tripod light.
Ej acosta
What about a 12V/20V flexvolt?
Dalton McBride
I’d love to see DeWALT build something possibly solar panel. Not all job sites and places of work have the easiest accessibility to an outlet. If there was some type of way for me to still get power. Even something that be could ran thru the car system to help engage in something more convenient for those who don’t always have the easy access they’d like!
Matt Miller
A chainable extension cord that attaches to batteries and matching A/C adapter.
Cal West
I would second the comments about:
-Tough System 2.0 flat worktop attachment
– Lower profile ToughSystem2.0 rolling box and/or rolling multi-shelf unit
And I would add that I would really like a slimmer profile small screw/parts organizer for Tough System 2.0. The current one is very deep which is great for certain things, but not so much for screws/nails/fasteners in reasonable amounts. Adding slim cases would also allow people to maximize space during transportation.
Shawn Y
STORAGE: A small/half-sized version of the DWST08260 Toughsystem rack mount so I can slide in and out my heavy boxes at waist level. Include a set of folding arm brackets (a la DWST08212) and offer other rack moutable accessories (i.e. a tabletop). Many two-car garages could use these to keep boxes off the floor and easily accessible.
TOOLS: More innovative and truly useful tools for the 8V line. I’m thinking tools like the B&D laser self levelers/stud detectors and not the motorized measuring tape. B&D can keep that exclusive.
River1
An adapter so you can plug a tool and use it without worrying about battery life
Larry Davis
I would like to see a low profile battery powered (possibly hybrid electric / hydraulic) floor jack.
Joe
A task light like DCL077B, except IP 67 rated so it can be used in rainy weather. I find myself working in dark rainy weather a lot. I also like to tie task lights to the radar bridge of my boat at night to light the deck at night and they work well. Just can’t use them when it rains.
Kavi
Dad’s got a lead acid battery out by the garden powering the electric fence. Sure would be neat if he could swap a 6AH battery out every few days instead of lugging that 40lb behemoth to the garage.
Ty B
I would like to see a dewalt e-bike that used multiple 20v batteries or 60v batteries.
Jeff Belina
How about a blow dryer for my wife. 🙂
CallMeYaz
I would like to see a 20volt battery powered variable DC power supply with standard cables/connectors for powering small devices.
Adam
Their existing 20v pruners on an extension.
James Faulkner
I would like to see a larger variety of hand tools as well as some smaller cordless tools, such as in the Ryobi line.
RSconstruction
I’d like to see 7¼ DCS57(0,1,2,3) circular saw being RIGHT handed.
I’d buy a bunch for my crew.
Anthony
60v 10 1/4 circular saw!!
Will
I’d like another rolling solution for the Tough System. I’ve used the Tstak for the last 10 years. Want to upgrade but I like the rolling system they have for it.
Seth C
Long time listener, first time caller here.
Untapped market right now for Dewalt to drop a 20v Cordless Siding Gun with an attachment for a Vinyl Siding Nose adapter. We are all already using the aftermarket vinyl siding 3d printed tips for the 20v Dewalt roofing gun. Imagine Dewalt selling “The only gun you’ll need no matter the siding” as a kit with the adapter for vinyl siding and maybe a guide nose piece to help line up where to nail on LP or Fiber Cement.
To add along with that, NOBODY has a cordless cap nailer or cap stapler. I refuse to hand bang cap nails after using my stinger cap nailer and my bostitch cap stapler, but lugging the compressor and hose is annoying. Just take the discontinued Dewalt Cap Stapler and modify it to be slimmer like the Cable Stapler with a reload just like the stinger. Let it shoot 1”-2” staples or nails. That would be a stupid popular gun and the stingers are already going for $350 new so I know Dewalt would have zero issue selling a cordless upgraded version for $200-$350
Also 20v nibblers
So 20v Siding nailer (with vinyl siding adapter)
20v Cap nailer or cap stapler
20v nibblers
Potts5590
I’m sure some of these have already been said however DeWalt needs to get on par with Milwaukee in terms of the metal working game. 20v die grinder that’s not ridiculously large in straight and angle head such as the m12 version by the red team.
DeWalt released their band file yet I haven’t seen it as of this posting only the press release and so far that looks promising and a step in a good direction.
I would like to see DeWalt bring a desktop mill and lathe to market or even better a more portable option. either way it would need to be rigid enough to hold a respectable tolerance yet also its not a real knee mill or lathe just something that could be used in the field for making parts on site for repairs and what not.
I would like to see more focus on the outdoors power solutions such as a real deal inverter generator that uses the flex volt system along with more forestry tools or at least some more support for the chainsaws and a water pump would be cool.
Choochirawks
More tools for carpet installers !
Greg Braddam
More small parts storage options. Side attachment points with a small ladder option.
Jim
I would love to see a blower that really gets the air moving. I have the leaf blower, but my dad’s Milwaukee literally blows it away!
John D
Hot glue and heat gun combo
Jaime Barbosa
How about an all around tool set that comes in a tough system case. Pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, multibit driver, adjustable wrench and whatever else fits. Would be a go to box and a starter kit.
Matt Bosselait
A tough system rolling box that’s tonneau cover compatible without disassembly
Whiskey Creek
I would love to see Dewalt come out with. Track Saw like the Festool HKC 55. This would be great for those off angle cross cuts.
I would buy that tomorrow.
A Dewalt Domino would be neat too.
justin
If we’re talking organization products, I’d love to see some compatibility with slatwalls and rail systems.
Mike
I would like to see a better price point on Dewalt 20 V battery systems. I think that there bare tools are over priced for not, including a battery they should be more in line with corded tools and also include the battery
Charles V
I would love to see nail guns that are ready to fire with no delay. I love the current DeWalt models, but also like the responsiveness of some of the other battery powered nail guns out there.
Devlin
Right angle impact driver with a slim profile
Taylor Shaw
Would like to see more non power tools such as DIY home tool set.
John
Toughsystem 4 wheel dolly.
Chuck
Right angle impact.
Jae Shin
DeWalt,
Perhaps you would consider a line of 12v tools much like Milwaukee’s FUEL line up? Much like everyone else here, I live in one Ecosystem (yours), but I find Milwaukee’s 12 FUEL system to be pretty versatile and light with tons of usable power.
Adam W.
I know a few have said it, but a right angle impact. Klein has a pass through design primarily for linemen, but a smaller version would be really handy. I’m an electrician so we get into some tight spaces sometimes and it would be nice to have a better option than a right angle attachment. WHICH, currently takes up both hands to operate.
Peter
I would love to see a multi-option drill available in 20v/flexvolt similar to the 12v model.
Sloan Ball
Making the powerstack batteries standard would be great.
Andy
I like the form factor of rear handled saws and think it would be pretty cool if they could make a 20v 6 1/2” version of the 7 1/4” dcs577.
DMadden
I’d like to see a flush cut or toe kick like saw for the 20v system.
Jason
I would like to see a Dewalt truck bed storage system. It’d be perfect for me to have a way to mount the ToughSystem to my truck and also be able to configure the layout with each of the modules.
D-Day
I would like to see a “Buckethead” style 5-gal shop vacuum that’s powered by either DeWalt’s 20v or or FlexVolt batteries platforms
Dave S.
I’d like to see a standard right-angle drill released for the 20v Max line. I know they have the right angle adapter and the right angle stud drill, but I don’t want to need to maneuver an attachment (like the adapter) nor require use of quick change bits (like the stud drill). Just a standard right angle drill with a regular keyless chuck – that is all.
Robert
Dave, is this what you mean?
https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-20-Volt-Max-3-8-in-Right-Angle-Cordless-Drill/3977521
It’s one of the reasons I bought into the Dewalt 20V system. It was the only one of those that I could find at the time I needed it.
JAMES WILLIAMS
I would like to see an inverter charger utilizing three 20v batteries
Nicholas Gibson
I am a Dewalt guy, however I have noticed Milwaukee always having more items in their 18 and 12v selection. I would like to see Dewalt step it up a bit and try to compete with the different number of new tools. Inspection cameras, 12v caulk guns, etc. Also it would be cool if Dewalt actually made more 8v lithium gadgets other then the 1 mini screwdriver I’ve seen. I mean they have 8v batteries and chargers. Or at least make a more competitive 12v line.
Ryan Wag
An Atomic cordless brad nailer. Shrink those bad boys down as much as possible.
Steven
It would be nice to have Bluetooth added as a feature to monitor time on specific jobs to better approach an accurate bid.
Nick
I would like to see a DeWalt 110V power top off and a new Flexvolt generator/power station
Graham hobbs
Small hot glue gun or caulking gun with Led lights at the end.
Justice
I’d love to see more timber and log home tools, even though they are specialty tools! Curved base planer (like Marita 1002), 10″ timber saw, 16 5/16″ saw…
Chris
How about some innovative wood joinery tools? I know the domino is still under patent but something along these lines would be cool.
Roy R.
Id love to have a yellow bench vise marked with Dewalt. And assorted hand tools, wrenches, pliers etc.
RdrCam
I’d like to see some sort of a battery powered heater
Chuck
I’d like to see a protected power source. These batteries would be great in projects, but they don’t have a BMS. There are some DIY solutions, but it would nice to have something from DeWalt. Maybe add an ATC fuse in there.
Shawn F
I’d like to see more hybrid tools, meaning tools that work off of batteries or an extension cord, like some of Ryobi’s tools. Or an adapter that slotted in like a battery but had a plug for an extension cord
Norse
I would like to see a full size router in the Flexvolt line. Make it compete in the 3+ horsepower class. How about a Flexvolt backpack blower that competes in the 80cc class?
James
I would love to see a cordless siding nailer that can accept longer nails that work for Hadie Board siding.
JoseG
Small chainsaw, smaller than a pole saw. I have a lot of low hanging stubborn branches, bought a cheapy one on Amazon that uses the dwalt battery .. I’m on my 3rd one.
Gregory Smith
A new designed weed eater head. It shouldn’t be this time consuming to add new line
Joshua M Zimmerman
I’d like to see more combinations with the auto mechanic in mind. Im a DeWalt user and would hate to have to start using an overpriced( Snap on or Mac etc). To suit my needs. I never see deals or offers on the ⅜ or ¼” ratchets. Just a suggestion.
Chris Mormile
I would really like to see a 2.0 version of the gyro Screwdriver. I have one and like the way it works. But it has some issues. It would be nice to be able to turn the gyro function off and use a trigger to run it.
kevin
i would like to see them expand the 12v line a bit.
Zack meller
I’d love a hydraulic impact like ridgid used to make and milwaukee makes. 12v or 20v. Or both would be awesome
Patrick Insley
I would like to see dewalt improve upon their handheld power washer to increase the durability of the hose connection.
Kevin Wickett
Mobile battery bank with solar recharge capabilities. Projects being built off the grid. This would be very helpful
Rob Ziemba
Always interested in more HVAC specific tools. I’d be interested in a power flaring tool for refrigerant connections. NAVAC makes one, but I don’t want to have a van full of 6 different proprietary batteries and chargers for different tool manufacturers.
Clayton Embry
Really happy with most all of Dewalts equipment, especially the power stack batteries. .
I would like to see a heavier. tougher tool that’ll last longer , such as Milwaukee. Maybe Introduce a, line with stronger hardware and the casings
Calvin
Truck bed organizers would be nice.
Jordan
Right angle impact. Better interoperability with old storage boxes and bit holders and newer cases. Corded adapter like Metabo (why doesn’t every brand do this!)
Jerry
Personally, I would love if Dewalt could bring out some concrete tools. A rebar tie gun, concrete vibrator in 20 or 60 V, and maybe a coordless rebar cutter. I would love to add those to my arsenal.
John Hollingsworth
Maybe redo the tough stack system to “stack up” to the rest? Or what about a hot glue gun? Would be excited to upgrade my charging game!
john hofer
I’d like to see mere dewalt flashlight options
Oscar N
Make a battery like Ryobi with the magnet on the top of it so I can place some screws. It would make like easier.
Joel Danielson
I would love to see more innovative drywall framing and cutting tools available from DeWalt… For starters, I would immediately purchase an adjustable framing t square if DeWalt made one.
One Wild Oat
An adapter to go from battery operated to corded operated.
Matt Wilkie
Solar options for battery charging. I do lots of off grid work. Total bummer to run out of batteries.
Ben Line
I would like to see some kind of mobile storage system designed for mechanics. Maybe centered around electric impact tools, sockets, wrench and such.
TomQ
I’d like to see a better selection of impact driver extension screwdriver bits in 4 to 6 inch length – Phillips, torx, square. Maybe a nice 20 to 30 piece set of just extension bits in common sizes.
Brian Sark
I would really like to see dewalt come out with a speed square with the level in the foot
Ben Adams
I would like to see factory made foam inserts for the tough system boxes precut for the power tool lineup.
Sean Pekin
I’d like to see who storage for battery powered nail guns.
Rick Hegberg
I would love to see a solar charging setup for remote locations.
Also convertors for use with old Craftsman, Milwaukee, Makita, Porter-Cable, etc.
Ted Bartoletti
Yes converters for older tools
Jon
May have already seen this comment, but would love a battery eliminator option, to use the tools corded.
Sam
I’d like to. See more outdoor tools from dewalt
Mr. Creek
Toughsystem battery powered cooler, jobsite microwave, toughsystem vacuum that ran on 20v. 5 sided Solar powered toughsystem trickle charger for batteries.
Josh Avery
I would really like to see job oriented insert to go in the tough system 2.0 boxes for better organization. I am what is considered multi craft. So I have multiple boxes with stuff just piled up in them. Like for instance if I’m finishing drywall have an insert to keep my mud knifes from getting bent up and to hold my tools from getting banged around.
Tim Medlin
I would pick up a dewalt circular saw as my other is dying a slow death.
Brandon Schultz
Hoping for a re-design of the batteries to stop 2nd or 3rd parties from creating counterfeit batteries. Like the new Forge batteries from Milwaukee.
Colin
Battery converters! I would be first in line to buy more Dewalt batteries to power tools that are still in great shape, but whose old NiMH or NiCad batteries are worn out. It would be like handing out free razors to us old timers – we’d be buying razor blades until the end of time!
Bonnie
They’ve had those for ages, and still sell them. Or are you looking for the weirder voltages they used to make?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-20V-MAX-Lithium-Ion-Battery-Adapter-for-18V-Tools-DCA1820/206525714
Brian
I would like Dewalt to come out with more versatile wall mounted storage options similar to Milwaukee’s packout wall storage system, rather than the Gladiator-type rail system. Stuart – thanks for the giveaway!
Nic
I would just really like to see more tools be dual 12v/20v voltage
Mopar
I would love to see more cross compatibility between all the different Dewalt storage systems. I use both TSTAK and ToughSystem, plus some of the different smaller storage options. I actually just ordered the adapter plate last week ( https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-toughsystem-tstak-adapter-dwst08017/ ) after wishing I had it when I had to go help a friend 45 minutes away with an emergency bathroom demo and rebuild.
I would also long to see some options for dividers for the cases. One of these days I’ll get around to making something out of aluminum/ masonite/lexan, but if there was a ready made solution I’d buy it.
Nicholas Rucinski
I’d love a tough system stepstool with integrated tool storage. To meny things are just barely out of reach.
Ben
DeWalt needs a stick pump. I know Milwaukee has a 12v one, but I’d prefer a 20v.
Jonathan Dixon
They need a pure sine wave inverter to run house hold appliances during blackouts. I have so many great batteries that could be put to good use.
eddie sky
Powerstack HEPA vac.
And a XXL (tall) 2.0 storage bin to hold their flooring nailer, nails and hammer.
Jeff A.
I’d like to see Dewalt come out with a small compact blower for easy storage in an RV.
Ryan
It would be nice to see more accessories from dewalt that work with power tools, like some cooler cut outs for Sheetrock to work with multi tools or something to help find where to cut on Sheetrock to make exact fits, but just power tool accessories in general.
MicahMc
I would love to see an expansion of landscape power tools since the launch of their snow blower.
Perhaps a tiller, dethatcher, vacuum mulch, etc.
With the new powerstack batteries they could do a battery glue gun and other smaller tools.
Birdseed
Love to see a 60V portable air conditioner
Would also love so see a solar station setup
Terry Powers
I would like to see more 12v xtreme line tools!👍
Bonnie
A direct AC adapted for battery-powered tools would be really nice to see. Also some smaller items like rotary tools and hot glue guns.
John Weaver
Right angle impacting 20V ratchet
A battery cooler for work sites
A 1″ battery impact for removing lugnuts from wheels, like “THE RED COATS” have. I can’t see spending the money for theirs, keeping 2 different batteries and chargers, inside my work truck with limited room. This would eliminate the use of air lines and save a huge chunk of time
Mike
Wow hard to imagine what Dewalt cordless tool I don’t already have, even duplicates of some given two residences far away! Perhaps: (1) more A/C adapters…20v & 60v for when don’t need cordless (such as the large tripod lights, etc.,) seems a waste to use up batteries in this use case., (2) More incremental LED lighting solutions, (3) more variety of ToughSystem 2.0 components and inserts, (4) cordless Dremel-like tool with fixed base/battery unit and flex-shaft to transmit rotational power to head. Will await the new arrivals!
Rich
More ope
Clarence
I’d like to see Dewalt come out with a rolling box with drawers. This would keep you from unstacking your boxes to get to the items in the rolling box.
Artem
I’d like to see new jigsaw I want it to have a laser that will show where the cut will be and so that the blowing works better than it does now.
GlenR
A 100w adapter for the 100w usbc charger that comes with a 65w adapter
pezjono
I would love to see more USB-C storage and power options. Having some sort of DeWalt battery solar charging would be slick!
Jason
I would like a rolling chest that is compatible with the tough system like Milwaukee has. Impovements on batteries and versatility in tools is always a plus if more flexvolt options in tools to maximize 60v battery usage while retaining the option to use 20v batteries in a pinch.
Jayno22
I’d love to see more tool storage options and also a multi function table like Festool’s.
Brandon Pritchard
I would like to see a solar panel on top of that stack box to charge batteries out in the field 🙂
Michael
More 12v tools and maybe a 12v powerstack battery.
Jburr
A small silent battery operated shop vac. I mostly want to use it with my woodworking CNC machine. But imagine the uses… Car, stairs, on a small job. Include a hook up for a drill to suck up drywall or wood chips when drilling a hole to hang something. Take my money.
MichaelT
I’d like to see more two battery/120AC adapter choices, like the 12″ miter saw. Maybe update the contractor saw so it go either way?
C Ferguson
Smaller Brad and finish nailers.
TonyT
OPE: improved FlexVolt string weed hacker. Considering it’s a FlexVolt tool, the current one is disappointing, especially the run time.
Tough System: I’d like to see more accessories to make best use of the space; the trays are a good start, but if I’m going to modular tool boxes, I’d like the boxes to be well organized, not just the stack of boxes. For example, more choices for removable cups for the organizes for smaller parts.
Maybe DeWalt could run a contest for 3D-printed accessories…
On the good side: I like the TS to Tstak/Pro adapter plate, and the trays that fit in the TS 2.0 tool chests. I love the DW Pro organizer Black Friday pricing 🙂
Kevin M
I’d like to see a better radio system with jobsite capabilities so I can use it around the yard and house.
Anthony Cronin
I would love to see a 20v transfer pump for the plumbing trade
Keith
More organization for standardization of accessory packs. My combo drill rack doesn’t fit the bit mini boxes in a sensible manner
Adam Bancroft
A hot glue gun or a rivnut installer!
Galyn
TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 24 in. Tower Tool Box …add power to the wheels…. allowing assistance with heavy loads to move it around
Koko The Talking Ape
I’d like to see them go into more stationary tools like drill presses and bandsaws. They clearly have the expertise.
One niggling thing: Their old worksite fan allowed corded power as well as cordless. The new version lost the corded option. I’d like it back.
Eric spindler
I’d like to see Dewalt come out with a battery powered pipe threader.
Patrick osborn
I’d love to see some Dewalt filet knifes come out or some automatic tape measures that extend and retrieve by push button. Even a laser tap measure that u can stop as if there was a invisible wall instead of a continuous beam.
Jerry D Jr
I haven’t seen that charger setup, that is awesome!
Eugene
I think a compact chain saw around 6″ would be great addition to homeowner DeWalt tool collection
Brandon
I would love a 20V snow shovel like the Snow Joe cordless snow shovel. The Snow Joe works amazing but I wish I could use my DeWalt 20V batteries instead.
Andrew Peters
Cordless stick transfer pump like Milwaukee
Also the little thing that turns the battery into an outlet not just a usb charger, also like Milwaukee. I’m fully invested In dewalt and love it, it just sucks when you are another brand come out with stuff you want !
Brian Brewster
I would love to see a die grinder (like a heavier duty Dremel
MikeH
I would love to see more Toughsystem tool bags to compliment the boxes. More configurations for varying applications. Also, more lighting options both standalone, headlamp etc.
mattinky11
I was coming here to say exactly this!
Robbie C
I’d love the ability to turn my cordless tools into corded tools via an adapter of some sort.
Nick S.
I’d like to see more 12v tools. I really wanted to expand into the 12v segment with DeWalt, but recently I bought a starter set with Bosch. I really like the size and portability of the Bosch for homeowner tasks, but admittedly their applications are somewhat limited. Some basic 12v powered wrenches, screwdrivers (Gyro would be nice) and even some smaller versions of larger power tools for quick, homeowner use would be really nice.
Danny
Dewalt needs to improve their cordless shop vac to be more competitive.
JB Murray
I would love to see a slimmer press tool design, and more plumbing oriented tools across the board. A fan that also has a misting option would be good.
Derek L Jones
I would like to see a power ratcheting crescent wrench. Either as a set or interchangeable bits.
Jon S
I would love for them to come out with a Flexvolt plug in that could take the place of either a 20v or 60v battery that can be plugged in directly. They already have the 120v for the flexvolt miter saw, let’s see a smaller version.
PurelyMasculine
Full and half sized shallow toughsystem parts boxes. That’s the number one thing tempting me to switch tool box brands.
Ram Lopez
I would like to see DeWalt come out with a 2 or 3 sliding drawer component similar to the one they have now on the toughsystem 2.0 now , but with I 3/8 hole. So it can be on your rolling cart but can lock it up also. Can’t do that now with what they have available at the moment
Andrew Morris
Would love to upgrade all my tools to the tough stack if I could afford it!
Clinton Johnson
I would like to see a battery charger that monitored batteries by percentage from 0 to 100% so we could have a better understanding of exactly how much battery power we have.
Nathan Murdock
I would love to see more tough systems.
Keith Russeau
I would like to see a 6 inch grinder the 4 in is just to small out on the job
Emuscott13
DeWalt battery chargers could use a true high speed charger. The flex volt fast chargers still take almost an hour to charge a 9ah
Andrew bogert
I would like to see a drywall saw like the one that Nikita makes it looks kind of like a jigsaw they’re the only one I’ve ever seen that makes one like it
Kyle Horton
I would love to see DeWalt come out with a small orbital detail sander and a small 12v router. I would love to see an organizer for truck bed side toolbox where I don’t have to remove everything.
David
I’d like to see them come out with a plasma cutter. That or some x-ray spectacles
Otis Thompson
I think this is a great promotion I don’t know of any other company doing anything like this I think this is a personal tribute to us. Your Customer and I wish lots of sales for you guys in the future
Jrs
Would really like to see an expansion on the 60V lineup.
Additionally, how about some more unique tools. About a dethatcher attachment for the 60v trimmer/outdoor multi tool? DeWalt power room attachment. Robot mower to complement new mowing lineup.
Joe Mama
DeWalt NEEDS to make rechargeable high power headlamps and work-lights\flashlights like Milwaukee has been making!
Milwaukee is basically competitor-less in this area.
Fred
I would luke to see inductive charging system.
Nicholas S
DeWalt has some outstanding tools, I mean I don’t think I would be the handyman I am without them
GILBERT GASKA
I would love to see some true home owner tools in the low price range. Not everyone needs a brushless high power drill that sprains your wrist because it has too much torque.
Ronald Carr
I’m a big fan of all Dewalt powers tool but would like to see a powered version of PEX crimper.
comeonkitty
I would appreciate a freestanding power tool holder. I just dont have wall space in my shop to make use of a wall mounted one. Id like it to be able to hold my drill, driver, grinder, portable skill saw and maybe more so that i can easily grab them and put them back immediately.
Erik Arnold
A 3/8 and 1/2 in socket set that will clip into the tough system 2.0
David P
DEWALT 20v max xr coffee maker! Makita has one. Maybe even flexvolt version so it would work better. In that case, flexvolt microwave!!!
Stefan Miele
Stefan here, I would love to see a version 2.0 of the power station (DCB1800 I believe) that offers a pure sine wave for sensitive electronics. I also read the original isn’t compatible with the tough system so compatibility as well.
Sid
I’d like to see a solar charger for the batteries!
Mike
Tool boxes that open from the side. Drawers and/or doors. I keep mine in the back seat of my pick up and it would be nice to be able to access the lower boxes from the side without having to move the upper boxes
Tim
Dewalt RC truck that can use the 20v batteries to drive around with.
Bonus mode, RC Powerwheels type vehicle for the kids to drive or remote control use, since people have been doing dewalt battery conversions for them already. Could run with two 20v batteries and/or Flexvolt it to 60v.
Miles Neglak-Voss
Been jonesing for a dewalt hydraulic impact. Or a brushless 7 1/4 miter saw.
Ryan Smith
I’d like to see dewalt make stilts, hell I’d like dewalt to make any and every kind of tool they can I just want support the brand
Brant Farris
Would love to see a new generation of nailers & 60v at that, Power/USB combination like Milwaukee Top Off, and continuation of Powerstack lines.
Nate Prince
I’d like to see dewalt rechargeable AA AND OR AAA Batteries
Russell Davis
I inch impact would be nice.
Shawn Crews
Battery powered car jack so I can be looking under the car while it’s jacking up.
Kevin Miller
I’d love to see Dewalt revamp their battery operated lights. I feel it’s been a few years since we’ve seen anything new in this department. What about making a 60v version that’s brighter? Or maybe some 12v versions?
Steve-O
I’m sure I am in the minority here, but I would love to see them add to the T-Stak line of storage products. Specifically, bring some of the bags like they have available in the EU to North America.
SOL COOC
I want to see a demo screwdriver just like Milwaukee discontinued 48-22-2860. A good duct knife like Midwest but with better handle.
Matt-O
I’m not sure how wide the use case is, but a generator with integrated battery chargers would have been useful to me this past summer as I was building my home before I had power on-site. Many others in my area are completely off grid and may also benefit from such a generator.
Kevin Wingler
I would like for Dewalt to make a corded adapter than fits into the batter slot, so then a line of tools can be developed to be used as either corded or cordless, so torque or power doesn’t have to be the trade off to buying cordless tools.
Krzysztof
I’d second this. Especially for the Flexvolt line it’s quite usefull.
Cesar menendez
I would like to see DeWalt touch system drawers that have a locking mechanism for security, either an attachment I can buy to install on my drawers or a new set that has a built-in way to securely lock the drawers to protect my tools from theft. Im a electrician and work in construction and unfortunately my tools have been stolen
Luke
More pack outs options. Milwaukee is killing it and I love to see DeWalt bring some serious competition.
Adam L
I carry several Dewalt bags along with my tough system to each job… I would like to see more intergration options for my tough boxes such as inside and outside accessory storage options for batteries, cords, bit cases. I have this T-stak to tough top, but I would like to see additional options
Donald Smith
I was thinking a hobby sized table saw would be something I could use.
Tyler
I think Dewalt has the technology and resourcing to make a competitive large scale battery bank (like an electric generator) that can utilize current market solar panels or in-house solar panels if more feasible. I Love this company and strictly purchase Dewalt tools, and that is something I would love to purchase and review!
Jesse Wiser
Wall mounted storage systems
M
Backpack hepa vacuum and wand attachments
Alexv
I’d like a compact battery sequential charging / storage tower for workshop use
Joshua Hallock
A nice miter saw stop block system with extended wings for more permanent miter saw installations.
Noah Kuzel
12v power stack batteries would be cool.
I don’t know how cool it would be to see a tough system tool set because the DeWalt hand tools are kinda shitty. But maybe allow Mac Tools to sell their hand tools in a tough system setup.
Mikey
For simplicity sakes I think it’s time Dewalt chooses one line and makes that the flagship. No more toughsystem, tstak, tough case etc. settle on one flagship product and go all in.
Vivian
It’s pretty simple but I’d feel like it’d be useful. I think a DeWalt Magnetic Wristband would come in handy. I’ve had many projects where I need different bits, hex keys, or sized screws, and it’s a bit of a pain having to switch what I’m using, especially when I’m up high/in a spot that I can’t easily lay my tools down or fish everything out of my pockets.
Jason Blinstrup
I love all of the Toughstack storage options, I’d love more versatile rack or garage solutions that would work with the boxes, drawers, and bins.
Robbie
I just started buying tools in the past year with any type of real seriousness so I can do things around the house that needs to be done. I can’t really say what products should come out next as I haven’t really seen what’s all out there as it is. I’ve been reading as much as I can and do a lot of research before buying anything and this site has helped me considerably, both with knowledge and well, lightening my wallet a bit with recent posts about deals.
Andrew Lethbridge
I’d love to see more integration with the tstack as well as half box options with either of the modular systems. Love my yellow!
Zachary Yang
I need to see more stuff to compete with packout. Like a rolling base that is a single or double drawer instead of a box. Also modular socket sets and a portable modular vac. Basically everything that packout has, but with more accessories. I will pay for them gladly.
Zachary Yang
I need to see more stuff to compete with packout. Like a rolling base that is a single or double drawer instead of a box. Also modular socket sets and a portable modular vac. Basically everything that packout has, but with more accessories. I will pay for them gladly. We need team red competition.
Michael K.
A magnet roller with LEDs to pick up nails from job sites would be slick. Residential customers hate nails in streets.
Expanding the heating line up would be great. Camo for hunting dual purpose.
Garnet
I think it would be great to get a powered fish tape like the M18 one
Nathan Elrod
DEAR DEWALT, could you please develop a type of flush-cut saw. It is almost invaluable when trimming deck boards or removing old flooring.
20v XR please 🙂
anthony smith
A 20v nibbler would be awesome
jbongo
While I don’t have any DeWALT cordless tools, I do want to say thank you to DeWALT for sponsoring such a great site!
Chris
Great giveaway!
A single battery inverter would be nice
A 2nd gen powerstation would also be good, maybe with 6battery capacity, BT, USB, charge indication, and multiple AC outlets.
Continued expansion of 12v
Continued expansion of OPE
A more clear automotive tool strategy in combination with MAC
Michael Detsch
A work light that can be run off of batteries or plugged in and doubles as a charger like the Milwaukee one
Chris Piche
I’m loving the new compact series and would love to see more come out for this series. Too many tight spaces to work with and need a smaller but powerful enough tool to get the job done.
Kurt Miller Sr
I’d like to see the Flexvolt system get PowerStach technology.
Ryno2base
I’d love to see a 10″ flexvolt miter saw. It would be great to cut down on the weight of the 12″ saw a little.
Ginger Martin
Foam cutter and hot glue gun…
Multi storage on wall ideas
Rockpicker
Yes, I would like to see a Dremel type of tool for fine grinding and cutting.
Mike B
Series of pruning tools for trees/gardens. It seems garden tools othen than for grass are lacking from all major brands.
Robert Mc
More powerful and heavy duty outdoor tools (polesaws, trimmers, and others) that can handle a tougher workload and stress.
Bryant Jimenez
An actual cabinet saw co- branded with saw stop technology
Sasha
Thanks Toolguyd!! You always keep me updated. I’m 72 and a home user. I have a handful of Ryobi tools and I love them. Afrer years of plug in power tools,I started with the package kit years ago that had skill saw, Sawzall, drill, battery and charger in a nice case. They were put to use building my mom a mother-in-law hide-a-way in 1995. I’ve added a new drill, a tire inflator, lights, the evercharge hand vac and some fans.
What I’d like to see Royobi add is a cordless nail puller. Getting ready to remove all the siding on that cottage and repair termite damage. The ole gal ain’t what she used to be. I could use the assist of the puller big time.
I’d also like to see more standing stationary storage ideas. Right now all my tools are in an old bedroom wardrobe on my screen porch. I’ve rigged up the power thru the back but that lets a lot more moisture in than is good. Something that seals tight and allows for adjustable rather than pre-determined spaces inside.
Robert Tsai
More portable battery bank options!
Viswanath MucheliChenchu
I would like to see similar to M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Orbital Detail Sander M12 High Output 2.5 Ah from dewalt
Joseph Ordoyne
I’m surprised they haven’t made a battery operated beer cooler.
John
I’d love to see a 7-1/4” non-sliding cordless miter box. I know a lot of people would rather the slider but I’m just thinking of times when I need to make a lot of cuts on smaller trim. I’m a commercial carpenter and a lot of times I’m parked far away and have to carry a bunch of stuff between high rises. I have specific. Aluminum trim that this would come in handy right now. A lot of times now I just use a bandsaw. The slider is just a little too hard to carry
Disgruntledfabricator
RIGHT ANGLE DIE GRINDER! I own 2 60v grinders, two 1/2 in drills and impacts, 2 1/4 in impacts, 2 3/8 impacts, 6 60v batteries and 8 20 volt batteries…..
AND ONE STUPID RED DIE GRINDER!
I own this dirty little secret because it’s better than any option that dewalt currently offers but I hate it because one of these things is not like the others!
There’s 3 people I work with that have switched to red and taken their black and yellow out because of this one little tool and the options that Milwaukee offers with their pack out. Just saying…
Devin D Spartan
Like everybody, I would like to see the bottom rolling tool box have a large single drawer, unstacking these tool boxes kinda sucks.
Matt
Since your batteries are getting lighter and more efficient what about a pair of illuminated suspenders to light my work area.
Besides that everything I could think of you already make.
Chris Schwarz
I would like to see more 20v sander options
Jon Brown
I would like to see third party tracking integration. Like an add on module that would allow Apple air tags or a Tile locator to be seamlessly integrated into individual power tools and/or the modular storage solutions.
PW
I would like to see more USA made hand tools. And USA assembled power tools.
Milwaukee is re-shoring high-end hand tool manufacturing, while SBD/DeWalt continues to increase their offshoring.
One of the reasons I bought into DeWalt’s 20v system was all the flag waving about USA assembled tools. Since then, they’ve repeatedly replaced their USA assembled tools with Chinese made replacements.
COO is a major factor in my purchase decisions.
Cari R
Love DeWalt tools. Would love to see a 3in battery pipe cutter
Tyson begay
I’d like to see/use a DeWalt
1/2″
3/4″
1″
EMT CONDUIT HAND BENDERS
Daniel V
Dewalt should fix the wobble on their tough system. When a bunch of drawer units are stacked up, the top wobbles a ton. They also should add a multiple drawer base unit and a drawer unit that has 1 deep drawer (as a base unit and/or one that stacks on top of the base unit) to fit in a circular saw or other large tools. That way you don’t have to unpack everything to use the bottom.
Will M
Probably an odd ball, but a decent batter powered soldering iron would be useful.
Andro
I would like more carpentry tools, whatever it is I’ll get it
Nicholas Flint
I would love to see more USA hand tools made. I would also love to see them make updates to the storage system. I’m a Dewalt guy always will be but they need to extend the line to more things. Milwaukee does a much better job in that regard. I would love to see them work on a better dust extraction unit.
Earl B
I’d really love to see more tough stack extension options, and a great drinking tumbler attachment. Also compatibility options to add T-Stack equipment to the Toughstack boxes.
Josh Anderson
I’d love to see an updated 20V or even Flexvolt cordless table saw and more variety on the modular TStack and Toughsystem 2.0 storage systems including service van organization options like mounts and shelving.
Munklepunk
Removable parts drawer boxes that come in the tough system boxes like what Hart and Bosch have. It would be really nice to not have to ustack everything to get some screws.
Gary Gaskill
I’d like to see a cordless wide crown stapler as well as a cordless siding gun. I’ve got air ones but the cordless would be huge. My cordless framing nail gun, roofing gun and finish nailer are awesome and they should expand the line.
Britt
Battery powered clamps! Press the trigger and the clamp closes or spreads.
Philip
I do carpentry and general construction and would love to see a 60v 10 1/4 rear handle saw, and an update to the 7 1/4 rear handle. I love the power, but it’s very heavy. There’s been some new rear handle saws from other brands that are killing it, and I’m tempted to switch😬 Shaving some weight would make it great.
I do alot of basement work and having a light added would make it stellar.
If possible a smoother baseplate, and please don’t have an ejection port. Carpenters everywhere are taping them off or buying 3d printed plugs to cap them off.
15ga, 16ga, 18ga, and Framing Nailer are not even close to the level of the red guns, that I’ve had to switch them all over. If it’s possible to remove the ramp up time and make them lighter than red I’d switch back in a heartbeat.
Simple thing but a big thing, none of your reciprocating saws have a rafter hook. I use them overhead and in trusses all the time and it’s insane that there’s no way to hang it off anything. Not efficient and it’s not safe.
I’ve dropped saws without hooks way too many times. . I bought the red one instead just because of this reason.
I love Dewalt but I’m starting to move to other brands for reasons like these. A few other tools that aren’t necessary but would be awesome to see.
Hydraulic Impact Driver
Siding Nailer
1/2 Full size router
Duster/ Blower/ Inflator (Teal has a great one)
Hot glue gun
New multitool (less vibration)
Right angle die grinder
Updated 7 1/4 Chopsaw
Jeffrey Treynor
Would like to see some type of fold up solar on the go charger or like one you can hook up to the charge box as like a small charge/ maintainer for more remote access to power
John
I wish they had more USB-C fast charging adapters – both for power out and to charge the batteries.
Munklepunk
I have always thought this was a good idea. It may take while to charge a battery from a phone charger but it gives an option. I have a 40w dual port charger, there are also a few 100 – 200w chargers. It would give the ability to charge from the car. I wonder if they don’t do it for durability reasons.
Of course, that would negate an excuse to nap when waiting for the electricians to finally show and turn the power on.
Farmer
portable winch battery operated, lower pricing on toolboxes.
Albert
Love you have a way to always have our mower run at high speed. It leaves too many uncut blades when left on it’s own… I’ve got plenty of batteries…
Chad
I would love to see more storage containers for mounting on walls in garages or shops.
CAM
I would like to see a FLEX VOLT 60V SNOW THROWER
Johnnystah
I would like some type of adapter to plug in my cordless tools and make them corded. The convenience of cordless is great, but sometimes if I’m using something a lot I’d rather just plug it in and not have to keep changing the battery.
Eric
I would love a rotary tool with flex attachment
Tyler F
I would like to see a blade left flex volt circular saw in the sidewinder style. I’m not a huge fan of the worm drive style, and the current 60v sidewinder is a blade right.
Shauna Raper
A floor jack or more tool storage box options
Shauna Raper
Women’s jackets with warming capabilities for winter with all the phone charging and battery charging capabilities
James Pierce
I have been a loyal 20v and 60v user for many years. I recently needed a small rotary tool and right angle grinder. I was hoping to see a 12v from dewalt with no luck. I ordered a red one and got the right angle grinder as well. Hope to see dewalt fill that void in their line up.
Blake
I would like to see dewalt come out with storage bins that you can securely put bits or other items in the top, fully customizable, and then in the bottom a place to stick your tools, battery’s, basically whatever that way is all right there together instead of having everything scattered
Nate
I’d love to see an expansion on the 12v product line. Love the Atomics..but those 12v tools are perfect for home hobbyist.
wschraml
More options for the DEEP Pro Organizers – different cup sizes and dividers.
Ian H.
I would love to see a cordless hot air gun with temperature control so I could do anything from removing components from PCBs to installing vinyl wraps.
Daniel
Would love if Dewalt came with a tough system 2.0 compatible bit set box
Cory Cannon
I would like to see a 2.5 gal wet/dry vac that completes with the Makita xcv11z, 60min runtime off a 18v 5.0ah.
-20v or 60v electric winch.
-Powerstack 12v Extreme batteries.
-20v 16ga sheet metal nibblers than can compete
-20v electric bottle or scissor jack could be bundled with tire inflator
-12v or 20v pex cinch tool
I bought 20v xr brushless drill and drive back in 2013 when they first came out with brushless and I still use the drill today! Want to become a tester
Lupe Aleman
I’d love to see DEWALT make batteries that lock together as a storage method
I think it’d help me from losing them all the time.
Rueben
Cordless mini sawzall
Adam Hooper
I’d love to see a garage door opener with multiple battery charging slots, that would also operate as a battery backup in a power outage and have an AC inverter to power other devices. Add some super bright LEDs and a retractable light, and possibly a Bluetooth speaker and FM radio, with smart home connectivity over wifi. All the basic garage needs in one box.
David Deray
More robust jigs
Eric Sweat
I am anxious to see DeWalt start a truck mounted line of storage boxes that are easy to access and remove for use on the job. Kind of like job box
Jonathan Moreno
I would like to have a finger sander I can use on my cordless some how. Maybe figure out a way to do some kind-of attachment .
Dorbonia Stevens
Dog gear and I have the purrfect models.
Matt Brown
waterproved half inch impact for waterline

I would really like to see a wall panel type of system that can be used to hang tools when not in use or as wall of bins. You will be able to customize it for each individuals use. Replace the old peg board with something new and more durable.
Rob
I would like to see a standard AC plug adapter that the DeWalt battery attaches to allow you to use a 120v device off the DeWalt battery. Great for emergency and power outages.
RobB
I would like to see a standard AC plug adapter that the DeWalt battery attaches to allow you to use a 120v device off the DeWalt battery. Great for emergency and power outages
Doug
A power brush that can clean composite decking please!
Josh Crips
I want dewalt to make a torque wrench similar to Milwaukees torque wrench.
Carl B. Hillman
I’d like to see a battery powered rotary carving / detail grinder similar to the Foredom rotary tool (except battery powered, obviously), i.e. a battery powered motor that drives an encased rotating cable to a handpiece, with the motor control via a foot pedal.
Kennis
I would love to see a benchtop bandsaw and spindle lathe
David F
I would like to see a right angle attachment but with a locking mechanism. I am an electrician and use the right angle to drill holes. Only problem is the drill bit unattaches constantly.
Ron Scoville
I tend to use multiple drills/tools at a time, and the belt hooks don’t hold well when going up and down a ladder, and I end up knocking them off my belt. That’s why I love the Dewalt drill holster, only I’d like to see a left handed version, or a belt attachment that your tool can lock into so it doesn’t slide off so easily.
Andrew Struchen
I’d love to see a large toolbox with built in power supply to charge all of the batteries that I have lying around.
Aaron K Pinne
I would like to see more made in the USA tools
Austin
A 20V nibbler would be great. I’m all dewalt, but I have to use a makita or Milwaukee nibbler if I want cordless. So that would be great.
Jackii
I’d like to see rechargeable batteries for all types of iteams. From AA down to AAA even the 9volt.
Jim E
I work in construction training, teaching it to at-risk youth as a way to build up their soft job skills. We always need more tools and batteries. Would love some more Dewalt.
Scott
With DeWalt’s experience with DC motors, I’d like to see an e-bike motor come out. The batteries are somewhat self-explanatory; only question is whether the $/kwh is relatively competitive with the present market.
Nathan
I would really like to see DeWalt provide more weather resistant tools for trades and first responder use in outdoor conditions. I’m thinking of their chainsaw, rotary and reciprocating saws, and their various lighting options to start. Maybe they could create a battery that when connected to any tool it was water resistant?
Nicholas Quinn
I’d like to see wall mounted tool storage.
Brad
I would like to see more low cost specialty tools for working on newer car engines and transmissions. The tools that a lot of the time are dealer only available or creative tools for making working on cars faster and easier.
Jacob Cothran
I really want to try out the new battery charger box and external charger. I have lots of batteries and being able to use all my batteries for other things than tools would be nice.
Giehl
I would like to see ToughSystem organizers in 1/2 the depth/thickness. Same length and width as the DWST08040 and 08020 but 1/2 the depth/thickness. The full size ones seem like such a waste of space for quantities of smaller nuts/bolts/washers. I bought the adapter plate for the smaller organizers but that limits those boxes to only go on the top of the stack.
Also, dividers for the bins in the 08040/08020 would be great.
Will
Dewalt should release a 3″ mini polisher/sander.
Heck they already have one, the MCM401.
Make it yellow and I’ll buy it.
Automotive and metal fabrication shops both use these, so it hits multiple market segments.
David
I would love to see a great portable power inverter or to where you can use a dewalt battery and plug something into it like for example a tripod light etc this way it would give you great portable options for things. Other thing would be a better storage option So for people that do multiple things or just have many large items, zaw, jig saw, drills, nail guns, sander, router, etc there is a better way of storing it without just tossing it in a big box and having to dig through it to find witch one you need.
Jollyostnick
A 12 v rotor would be nice also some tools for telecom techs
Shawn Brubacher
I would love to see a DeWalt cordless metal nibbler, similar to Milwaukee’s recent offering.
Dustin
Bring it to the office…dewalt keyboard, mouse, filling cabinet…
Matthew
I’d love to see some dual 12/20V tools (such as work lights or power adapters). Since the same charger works for both voltages I sometimes find myself with a mix. If I had a light that could use either battery or would be really convenient.
For storage I want to see more TStak offerings because the bit cases already integrate with them.
Derek Rausch
-Compact right angle die grinder. 20v with the head as compact as an air die grinder if possible. Have the motor in the handle and some sort of bevel gear in the head. Like an angle grinder only as compact as possible.
– 2.5 gal vacuum. With performance that can compete with the m18 packout one. That’s more ergonomic. And has the runtime of the makita.
– Large capacity batteries. The 15ah is large and heavy. And 12ah has had overheating issues. Milwaukee announced that they will be building 8ah and 12ah forge batteries that charge very quickly. It would be nice if dewalt wasn’t playing catch up.
Thanks for your consideration!
Aidan
I would like them to come out with a specific PVC, or copper cutter tool, other than the impact ones, because with the impact ones you have to remove the belt clip. Which I had enjoyed, for when climbing ladders and such, and now when I’m done with the PVC, or copper cutter I’ve got to re-install the clip each time.
Jeffrey R
I’m a woodworker/Cabinet maker do I would live to see some bigger tools for that line of work. Big drum sander or even a CNC.
Andy Johnson
I have a rolling tough chest, which is great because it holds a ton (63 gallons), but it would be great if DeWalt made some tray inserts or fitted boxes to nest inside and provide better organization.
Dermot
I’m waiting on dewalt to bring out their version of the Makita drywall cutout tool. It is the only Makita tool I own along with my 12 or so dewalt 20v max tools.
Eric S.
20v nibblers, some kind of holders(wall mount and TS 2.0 mount) for DeWalt box levels,
TEKO ENG
A DeWalt rapid charger that can work out of a truck cigarette lighter will be great!!!
Rafael Ramirez
I would like to see a 3 inch dual action polisher that is battery operated.
Randall Martinez
I would like to see a upgrade to the 20v max power washer and if Dewalt doesn’t have one a Dewalt tough system Ice Chest with a drain plug or just a good sized Ice Chest with a drain plug please. Thank You for all you amazing products!!
Joe
I would like to see a 110 inverter
James
Need some wall mounted tool storage and more hand tools.
Lawson
I’d like an inverter so I could install it my work van to keep my batteries charged.
Blake Morris Weaver
I’d like a solar powered inverter so I could lcharge my devices while camping
Wolka26
I would like to see a toughsystem cart that allows the drawers to be placed on the bottom with a large storage bin that opens from the top above. I currently have a setup with them flipped for my MX track tool kit and always have to remove the drawers to get to consumables and spare parts that get stored in the large bin.
Brent Gostomski
Redesigning a toughstack-like system that is interchangable with a truckbed storage system. Maybe something designed to fit with and work with Deck’d or something similar. That way when putting the tools away from a job, they partition out and still save a ton of truck bed space. And carrying them back into the garage, they just stack together and roll in….
It would beat milwaukees system that just straps to a MOLLE type setup.
James Loyd
I need a dewalt tool box and I mean a 52 inch too and bottom box for the garage!!!
Michael J Contryman
I would love to see Dewalt come up with a whole lineup of electrician tools and cases specifically designed for those tools. Right now, Milwaukee and Klein tools has an array of these but I believe Dewalt can come up with a better design, which would also work with the cases and batteries.
Michael Lovell
I would love a pole saw where you can add poles for better reach. But have it strong.
Most importantly I would like to see more different tools at the stores I know Dewalt has so many but they just have the same like 10 tools at the store.
Chris Shelton
I need a big drawer on the bottom of the Tough System. So I don’t have to pull off all of the other boxes off the top.
Rob M
I’d like to see a battery op bench grinder
Jonathan olson
I’d love to see more Dewalt gyro screwdrivers. A compact one as well as a brushless one with higher RPM’s
PW
Solar charging station. Vacuum that attached to the tough system.
Clint Hunsaker
20v Pass through impact ratchet for 1/2 all thread.
Roudy Morrow
I’d love to see a compact mouse type sander for getting into tight areas.
Laurie
I’d love to see DeWalt get way more into the cabinet/woodworking side more…
You guys build amazing tools but really could get into the cabinet/woodworking way more….
Come on DeWalt… You engineers are smart so let’s see you come out swinging k..
Paul F
I would really like to see dewalt make a couple transfer pumps. They do make a transfer stick but that can only be used for water. Looking for a high quality transfer pump that can be used for oils and preferably powered by a drill. HF makes one that disintegrates after 1 or 2 uses, so just throw away $15 every time you need to transfer gas or whatever.
Carter
A automatic file. Like a Dremel size but for a small file that goes up and down
Bethany Baird
More automotive tools geared towards oil changes and services anyone can do at home. A set of DeWalt band wrenches would be nice. I haven’t seen any around.
Daniel V
Id life be to see an updated power station. Something like the DCB1800B crossed with a Jackery. I have a decent number of batteries and would love to use them instead of a whole separate battery bank to lower corded tools, camping trip setups, etc
Ron Budnar
I would like to see some parallel bar clamps!
PatHall
I’d love to see a higher powered version of the oscillating tool(guybrator) that uses the 60v system to its max
David Millar
I would a dust buster sized hand held vacuum.
IronWood
Hot glue gun, detail sander, transfer pump, 20v 1/2” right angle drill. Not too many things missing from the lineup for my needs.
Thanks for running another drawing, Stuart!
Oliver
More powerful pin nailer. Gladly have a little more weight than have to set every 10th pin after the fact, and forget about hardwoods.
Tanner
As a lifelong Dewalt guy and concrete finisher, an updated brushless concrete vibrator would amazing. More attachments for my 60v weed trimmer are much needed. Also an oil based impact drill like the other companies have, I would buy all of these without question. Thanks!
Steven Miller
A small handheld air inflator would be great to keep in the truck. Also a battery station to take camping so we can use it to power and charge other items.
duke69111
I would like to see a 20v pump.
JayK
I’d like to see them release an oil pulse impact driver.
