Duo-Fast Construction Introduces
World’s First Fuel Powered Cordless Roofing Nailer System

Cordless System Makes Roofing Jobs Faster And Easier

SCHAUMBURG, IL (September, 2010) – Duo-Fast Construction has introduced the world’s first Fuel Powered Cordless Roofing Nailer System, Model DFCR17C. The convenience and efficiency of fuel powered cordless ensures roofers and exterior contractors get a powerful, lightweight and compact tool that helps increase productivity, reduce jobsite clutter and project downtime, and increase profits.

This revolutionary tool is easy to use, drives two nails per second and hold 120 nails per coil. Like other fuel powered cordless tools, the Duo-Fast® cordless roofing nailer drives nails sequentially by pushing the tool down and then pulling the trigger. It is faster than hand nailing and is perfect for a wide range of roofing jobs, including, leaks and shingle repair, ridge and hip replacement, steep slope roof work, flashing and vent installation, drip edge and trim, tight spots, and punch list repairs.

“Our jobsite experience with the new Duo-Fast Cordless Roofing Nailer demonstrates that this tool will help roofing and exterior contractors increase profits. Our cordless roofing system does not require hoses or compressors, which reduces set up and break down time to just a few seconds,” said Jacek Romanski, Marketing Manager for Duo-Fast Construction. “In fact, the real savings of our system comes from turning your typical roofing job into a one-man task; this is something contractors we’ve talked to are excited about, since they normally use two or three workers per job because of the compressors and hoses they normally have to handle.”

The Duo-Fast® Cordless Roofing Nailer features an adjustable depth of drive which reduces and often eliminates shingle blow-through. Additionally, the nailer’s sequential fire contributes to precise nail placement, which will help eliminate any issues of high nailing. Together, these features translate into a higher quality roofing job.

This roofing nailer has a single door magazine for easy loading of the coil nails, skid guards and a belt hook. It comes with an adjustable shingle guide for precise nail placement and has a soft grip handle for greater control. The Duo-Fast Cordless Roofing Nailer System can drive 2,200 nails per battery charge, and 950 nails per fuel cell.

The Duo-Fast Cordless Roofing Nailer System, Model DFCR175C, comes with a convenient backpack and one Roofer’s Choice™ Fuel + Nail Pack, as well as a safety tether, rechargeable battery and charger, and safety glasses. It also features a one year full coverage warranty and five year limited warranty.

Roofer’s Choice™ Fuel + Nail Packs with PowerBoost™ Nails
The Duo-Fast Cordless Roofing Nailer uses Roofer’s Choice™ Fuel + Nail packs, which maximizes the tool’s performance and means you never run out of fuel before you run out of nails. Each pack comes with one quicklode™ fuel cell and six coils of nails (720 nails per box).

The nails feature the PowerBoost™ Black Tip Coating for superior ease of drive and a unique vertical groove design for better holding power than standard roofing nails. Each Fuel + Nail pack is enough nails to do two squares or 200 square feet of shingles (your typical roofing repair job).

Duo-Fast cordless roofing nailers and Roofer’s Choice Fuel + Nail Packs will be available at your roofing building supply distributors and wholesalers. For more information, call 1-888-631-2020 or go to our web site at www.duo-fastconstruction.com.
