We are now one week away from Black Friday, and there are still very many new and newly announced tool deals to share.
One of the hardest parts of this time of the season is deciding which tool deals to share, and which to discard as not being interesting or impactful enough. I slashed my list down to around 150 promos. I’m going to give everything another look and will share the top deals in this post.
This post started off with 5 deals, and I’ll keep adding to it in between other Black Friday 2021 deal posts and updates. Please let me know what you think!

Stuart.
Regardless of your various disclaimers we all truly appreciate your effort sifting through the hype and malarkey to feed our collective Tool Jones’s.
And on behalf of my VISA card provider “they” too thank you profusely.
And Black Friday itself is still a week away…
Stuart
Thank you, I appreciate it!
On the bright side, you’ve got new tools on the way, and hopefully credit card reward points as well!
If it makes you feel any better, I don’t escape from all this unscathed. Apparently I ordered a camera lens last night (I’ve been waiting for a price drop) and my own tool and supplies shopping list has only been growing.
Some of these deals on this page are going to result in my own impulse buys as well. That’s part of the fun of this time of year – so many “New Tool Days!”
bwh
I have not had a chance to try out the Jorgensen Clamps. Extensively use Bessey, but the price on those is pretty great.
Stay away from Bora clamps though. They were disasters.
fred
Woodpeckers is having a sale on Bessey K-Body clamps
https://www.woodpeck.com/bessey-k-body-revolution-parallel-clamps.html
Rockler says that they are too:
https://www.rockler.com/shop?w=k-body
Stuart
These prices aren’t that great though.
Rockler just ended a better deal on a K-Body 4pc set for $180.
https://toolguyd.com/bessey-parallel-clamp-deal-112021/
MoogleMan3
That one still stings. I wanted two sets, was only able to get one.
Stuart
One is better than none!
Rich
The Jorgensen clamps are now produced by a Chinese company and are not at all the same as the old original Jorgensen ones. I bought a few last year and sent them back due to concerns about the quality of the bar and the play in the heads. Better off with Bessey or Jet imo.
The Woodpecker and Rockler sales are pretty modest, saving you a few bucks, but I would like to see a better deal.
Rockler had a really nice deal going for a K body Revo kit in the Oct flyer that Stuart reported on, but Rocker pulled it way early (despite a customer rep telling me on the phone a couple of days before that there lots of them in stock) and I missed it. Funny that all the individual items were still available, but they decided the kit was all gone.
Rockler is having a 20% off one item coupon for email subscribers. I got one on a catalog and another in an email. Not sure if both will work, but I will try to buy a couple of K bodies with those and/or a neighbor’s catalog code.
At this point best hope is a BOGO sale on Jet that usually happens for only one or two days…but we can hope that maybe some other Bessey K revos sales pop up.
Rich
BTW Rockler seems to have the best stock price on Bessey for the sake of comparison.
Woodpecker is giving a big discount off their already high price which looks good on paper. But that comes in just a couple dollars cheaper than Rockler’s standard price. 24″ pair at Woodpecker is on sale for $91 while two at Rocker would be $96. Savings of $2.50 per. Meh.
Ben
Agree, I’ve bought the ‘new’ Jorgy’s and they’re just not good. Might as well buy Bora clamps for the price.
Nothing beats the JET parallel bar clamps in my view (new atleast). Would love to find somebody getting rid of a pile of old Jorgensen parallel bar clamps. Would happily pay a premium for them now given the crap that people are selling.
Tim
I have a bunch of jets and they’re great… just really hard to get ahold of.
Stuart
The Rockler deal was strange. (That was also Benjamen that posted on them.)
The initial advertising said the deal was running thru 11/18 – maybe they ran out of inventory and didn’t want to risk perpetual backorders?
Mike
The dewalt drill bits link seems to be sold out
MI Dad
Which would you recommend the Milwaukee socket combo set (which, btw HD has for the same $60 price as opt), or both the husky impact socket sets at $30 apiece ($60 total)? PS I’m not a mechanic or anything
Stuart
Milwaukee, but you can’t go wrong with the Husky either.
frobo
I have a couple of the Skil 12V drills, and I like them a lot. They do everything I need, with plenty of power, precision, and reliability. I have also collected their 12V inflator, 5-1/2″ circular saw, and recip saw, and they all punch above their weight in my opinion. Highly recommended!
I also noticed that Amazon has the 20V version of the drill for 10 bucks more, but I have no experience with that.
Stuart
I haven’t seen the 20V yet, but would bet it’s brushed not brushless. If that’s the case, I’d still go with the 12V.
frobo
Hi Stuart, I just looked, the 20V is brushless too.
Thanks for all your posts this season!
Stacey Jones
Does the Skil stuff really recharge in 5 minutes?
Stuart
2Ah battery to 25% in 5 minutes. Yes.
Jbongo
Thanks for posting all of these Stuart. It’s always fun to look through them. Some of them are tempting, and previous years I’ve bought things, but the one tool I’m saving for (contractor SawStop) never goes on sale. I’ll be able to click the buy button at the end of the month though. 😀
Stuart
SawStop sometimes has bundle/accessory promotions on their cabinet saws, but I don’t believe they have deals on their jobsite saws.
O
Question on Gearwrench and Crescent…
I find Reversible Ratcheting wrenches…tools that I cannot live without. As tooth counts get higher for better use of the tool, I find the RR feature not being made in conjunction with the tool. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve not been able to find a RR wrench with a higher tooth count than 72. What gives?
Stuart
Cost?
Strength?
Wall thickness requirements?
Snap-on has Dual 80. That’s about the highest tooth/position count I can find at the moment, and so you’re onto something.
O
Also, about Milwaukee sockets, have they stopped skipping sizes?
Stuart
Depends on the size of the set?
its_jake
I just sent my makita basic 18v bl hammer drill in for service. Currently using my wife’s skil 12v bl drill driver. its not “fancy” but im still blown away at how cromulent it is at $69 let alone $59 with battery and charger. Batteries with built in usb port is another huge pro for the average homeowner.
That said, I picked a real shit time to send the HAMMER drill in for service as I try to cut through this backsplash to mount a range hood…
Stuart
Yikes, I hope your hammer drill is fixed in short order.
The Skil really is fantastic – while a little on the larger side for a 12V-class drill, it greatly surpasses the power of entry-level 18V drill/drivers.
I keep wondering if it’s priced as low as it is these days to lure users to the platform, as I can’t see how it could possibly have been engineered to retail for this low.
fred
The Halder hammer deal is good since free shipping is thrown in – but its about $4 cheaper elsewhere:
https://www.tigersupplies.com/Products/BASEPLEX-Nylon-and-Acetate-Mallet__HAL3968-025-.aspx
I’m debating – but will likely wait to see if KC Tools does their 20% off deal again this year – which drop the cost to $20 and added to other items I want – would qualify for free shipping
Stuart
Maybe, but free shipping at Amazon is hard to beat.
I tried to get a shipping quote at tiger, and it wouldn’t load after a minute (the ball kept spinning).
fred
Amazon bundling the cost of shipping into their prices do make things a lot more transparent. But when you buy multiple different items or one item in bulk quantities you can sometimes save money.
I think that Tiger Supplies adds almost $10 for shipping that one hammer – so the Amazon Price does look much more appealing. They (Tiger) do offer “free shipping” on some items – but not hammers. On this hammer (as an example) – if you were to order 10 the price drops to $21.26 per hammer with shipping.
fred
Tiger Supplies is also doing a Black Friday sale.
It’s a modest 5% off using code BLACKFRIDAY
The sale starts on 11/24 – and runs thru 12/1
So if you want a batch of Harder hammers – or some surveying instruments ( maybe a $15,000 total station? ) – they might be worth a look
Matt
Harbor Freight is finally putting the newer 34” full bank service cart on sale for a reasonable price of $499. Just saw it in their BF email catalog. I checked it out recently and it’s a nice cart for the money.

I notice the sale starts three days early for Inside Track Members. And I think the sale is while supplies last.
