The Milspin Rhino Bar is a USA-made mini pry bar made from stainless steel.
It’s described as having multiple uses, such as as a screwdriver, scraper, can and bottle opener, and package opener, but at its core this is a compact pry bar.
Surprisingly, the price is exactly the same as it was over two years ago – $14.99.

There are a ton of other “EDC” mini pry bars on Amazon; this one stands out as being made in the USA.
I’ve been dulling and damaging other smaller-sized prying tools (and maybe some screwdrivers) on random disassembly tasks – maybe it’s time I gave this one a try.
Customer feedback seems excellent, with 81% 5-star and 12% 4-star reviews on Amazon. A bunch of readers bought one when I last posted about it – please chime in with your experiences!

As a reminder, you don’t need carry tools like this in your pocket or on a keychain.
I’m also thinking that it might be best to add a small lanyard before tossing it into a tool bag.

I bought some as stocking stuffers for Xmas 2023. They were $14.99 back then too. I dont recall getting any feedback. My thought at that time was that they looked cute and made good stocking stuffers – but 3 inches was not long enough to provide enough leverage for serious prying.
At about 2X longer (5 to 7 inches) but still compact I’d recommend a “skin wedge”
Mine are old ones from Avery Aviation Tools – but Amazon says this is their overall pick

Now THAT’S an excellent tool. The one I bought several years ago was from “Metal Magery” and it’s been excellent. Not really an EDC-device in my view, it’s thin, but too large. It’s extremely handy though.

Whoa! fred. Thanks. I’d forgotten I’d loaned one of these to a “friend” and I can’t remember who.
So Jeff just got another sale. ;-)~

a pry bar should be forged

At this size, CNC machining is likely more economical.

I bought a titanium one to keep on my keychain b/c I thought it would be cool/useful. It was cool but I never once used it, ended up giving it to a friend. For actual use, Lisle has a set of pocket mini prybars that I actually use a lot, have more of a small screwdriver form factor.

After trying a ton of different ones, I find myself reaching the most for my county comm curved titanium “fulcro leva” tool.

It’s super compact, and helpful in intricate vehicle trim pieces that larger styles like that of the above linked FWTW, (same style available by Aries, and snap on Bluepoint. I have all of them).
Too often, the spoon shape of other variants is almost too wide for a lot of trim pieces, and ends up marring the visible edge of the trim. The fulcro leva version gets in and behind the trim, so any tool marks it leaves in soft plastics are at least 1/8″ behind the visible edge of the trim, making for a more professional trim removal job.
