Ego Cordless String Trimmers Deal Home Depot 5-26-20

Over at Home Depot, today’s deal of the day features a selection of outdoor cordless power tools and some garden tools as well.

Now seems to be a good time to buy that new EGO 56V cordless string trimmer you had your eye on, as bare tools and kit options are both on sale.

If you don’t want or need a new string trimmer, there are also a couple of other EGO cordless deals – a bare tool blower at $99, backpack blower at $159, chain saw at $169.

There are some walk-behind mowers on sale, and a powered dump cart and stump grinder from other brands.

In the area of garden tools, there are some entry-level handheld tools and cheap garden hoses, but also some Razor-Back and Jackson tools, a post-digger, and wheelbarrows.

Personally, I might take advantage of this opportunity to buy a Razor-Back 4-tine cultivator, as it’s priced at $23 including shipping. This has been on my could-use-it-but-not-essential tool wishlist for a while, and the price seems hard to beat.

Some of these deals are quite good, but it also depends on whether the align with your needs and wants. It’s worth taking a moment to scroll through the list.

Can’t beat EGO for outdoor yard tools. I need a deal on batteries.

Can’t seem to be bothered to buy a dedicated yard tools battery platform when there are at least five 18v lineups that have so many more useful tools and the yard tools produced on said lineup work well into and beyond the good enough area on the fun meter.

For the plantation owner or the commercial lawn service it’s probably a different outcome, sure.

While I agree with you, as I run power tool brand OPE for the most part, I feel like I tend to leave a set of dedicated batteries with my OPE tools anyways. Which is really no different than having a dedicated OPE battery platform. So while its nice to know that if needed I could grab the battery of my circ saw to get a trimming job done, its’s something I have yet to do. But that’s just my way of doing it, I see no issue with having a dedicated OPE battery platform in addition to power tool battery platform.

Does anyone have any insight into the recently announced Home Depot and EGO divorce?
