Over at Amazon, CPO Outlets has a couple of Fein FMM 250Q MultiMaster starter kits in stock at the crazy low price of $78.44 plus $6.98 shipping.
The 250Q is an excellent oscillating multi-tool, and the model I purchased back in 2011 is still going strong.

$86 including shipping is a fantastic price. If you’re in the market of a corded oscillating multi-tool, whether for yourself or to give as a Father’s Day gift, you’re not going to find a better tool or a better deal.
There are only 4 left in stock, and so I don’t expect for the deal to last very long. Still, it’s too good of a deal to keep to myself.
Update: The deal sold out in about 15-minutes, but it has been reported that the deal went live again with new stock at least once since then.
One more thing you should know is that the 250Q is compatible with Fein, Bosch, and other brands’ oscillating tool accessories. Fein accessories are pretty good, but they’re also pricey. With this model, which features a tool-free blade interface, you’re not locked into any one brand’s accessories.

Update 2: You can also try ordering from Amazon Supply, where the same kit is currently priced at $78.44 plus free shipping!

Update 3: Amazon Supply has sold out but is allowing backorders, at the $78.44 price, as long as you’re willing to wait an estimated 1-2 months for the Fein kit to ship.
The deal will probably expire once CPO Outlets sells out on Amazon, but there’s also a chance that this is a pricing error, in which case it’s not a deal and CPO might correct the price at any time.
If you miss out on the sale, CPO Outlets is also offering a number of Bosch MX30 oscillating multi-tool kits for $139 plus shipping via Amazon, which is about $100 off its regular price.

It’s already gone it seems. Thanks for trying!
Stuart
Wow that was quick, thanks for the update! I’ll change the post title accordingly.
Aaron
Its back. Just bought one.

Looks like CPO is updating Amazon periodically. Their website still has it though and from GJ, you can get free shipping via CPO Outlets directly.

When I checked CPO Outlets directly earlier they showed the regular price, and just now it says “out of stock.” I suppose they’re updating their website and Amazon with new inventory back and forth.

What a deal! The 10% coupon they have worked too. Got it for $77.59 including shipping. Awesome.
Dave
HA HA. I literally had the thing at the sale price in the final checkout screen, but I’m so cheap I was looking for the 10% coupon mentioned by RyanF. After giving up on the coupon search, I went back to the checkout and it was gone. Lesson learned (don’t be so cheap!), but I was on the fence as to whether I really NEED one of these anyway…. Thanks Stuart!

Doh! If you still want a great deal on something from them you might not need, check out their angle grinders. Holy cow. 43 bucks. I got one of those too. Which I don’t need at all. For a German made grinder at that price, I’m buying out of principle!
Aaron
Thanks for the tip. Got in on the angle grinder as well!
Joel Ong
Thanks for the heads up on angle grinder as well. Ended up getting both the 10-115 & 14-125 coz I know nothing about angle grinder yet and figure I can easily unload one later.
Jason
Wow that’s a crazy deal on a Fein Multimaster. I prefer a cordless multitool myself, but that’s still a sweet deal. If it does come back in stock I would still consider buying it just because Fein makes such high quality tools.
firefly
I second this. I already got the Fein and it’s a fine piece of tool. So I am in the market for a cordless one. Thinking about the Bosch at the moment…

LOL! The guys over at garagejournal Beat the snot out of this deal. Someone must have made a mistake on the price. That had to be below cost!
Stuart
Someone on GJ found a loophole.
Amazon Supply lists the OMT for the same price but with free shipping. It looks like maybe Amazon is price matching CPO’s price, but only there. Strange, because through Amazon Supply it looks like you get free Prime shipping.
There are currently 46 units in stock.

LOL! Tool junkies always find a way!
Both GJ and TG cost me a lot of money.

Is Amazon Supply basically Amazon’s answer to places like Grainger and McMaster-Carr?
Stuart
Yes, kind of. It’s pretty much what became of Small Parts.
Robert
Got one from amazon supply, thanks for the heads up.
Bullseye
Got one on order from amazon supply. Expected delivery 9 June -16 July.
Phil
Nabbed one offa Amazon Supply. Says it ships in 1-2 months. At that price, I can wait. More often than not, I receive notifications that items are in stock and shipping sooner than originally estimated.
Thanks, Stueey!
David
Just backordered one off of AmazonSupply! It states 1-2 months, though the email I received states Jun 13, 2014 – Jul 3, 2014. Either way Im stoked! Thanks ToolGuyd!!!

I received the Fein OMT from Amazon Supply yesterday. Nice unit. My older Fein is an excellent machine and still in pristine condition, but not variable speed. I will be interested to see how they compare.
The real ‘Grand; deal was the Fein 14-125 angle grinder at $47. I bought two. My current go to grinder is a Fein. Excellent units. The 14-125 is a 1200 watt compact unit. What a great deal. I cannot understand if these prices were online ‘mistakes’ that they chose to honor or they really intended to sell these units at these prices. If intentional, why? They could have pushed the grinders easily at twice or even three times the $47 prices. The market price is $290.
Monte
Maybe to get rid of them quickly. New angle grinders with up to 1500 watt were released a while ago and a new Fein Multimaster FMM 350 is available now too…The older Multimaster is now sold as “Fein MultiTalent” for a lower price.
