Over at KC Tool, today’s deal of the day is the Felo Ergonic ratcheting and pivoting head screwdriver, model 64539.
Amazon has this tool priced at $30, KC Tool has it as a deal of the day at $17.99.
I posted about the new Knipex TwinGrip pliers yesterday, and someone asked – “what can I add to my order to get free shipping?” Well, this seems like a good pick.

Neat! Good find.
Can’t find a Canadian source. Here’s some Canuck-friendly options.
I have this somewhat similar Westward unit:
https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/MULTI-BIT-SCREWDRIVER%2CRATCHET%2C6-IN-/p/WSW13F111
Don’t use it much, but it’s neat as a novelty. Looks to be discontinued now – oops.
Here’s another option – on sale this month from Wurth (considerably more expensive though):

I have one of these and it is a quality tool. It weighs about half a pound (233 grams) and the center of gravity is at the end of the handle, so it would’t be my choice for lengthy, repetitive tasks.

Here are somethings on Amazon.ca – they don’t quite look like Felo and might not exhibit typical Felo quality:

Those look a little rough. 😕 I appreciate the thought though Fred.

Now this is interesting! You get the reach of a screwdriver and the leverage of a regular ratchet wrench. If it only had bit storage…
Stacey Jones
I was thinking the same thing. Looks like the couldn’t find room with the torque hole. It seems unnecessay to me since you can flex it for more torque, but I guess you could use it in the T form this way.
Koko The Talking Ape
Yeah, that hole is odd. Maybe it’s for a lanyard?
Jared
That Westward version I liked to has bit storage. It’s a bit thick though for pocket-carry. Not that you can’t do it, but it’s a full size screwdriver handle.
I realize that’s not helpful because it’s discontinued, but I bet you could still find it on Amazon or Ebay.
fred
I spotted this one with bit storage – but it looks like it may no longer be available:

Had the tool for a few days and promptly returned it. It’s very top heavy and the handle feels like it’s hollow and will break. Not a good ergonomic tool. Not sure why they skimped on the handle…

I have a version of this made by NEBO tools.
Similar to this (mines quite a few years old, so maybe the updated it).

Here’s another Nebo one – but the handle looks bulky:

What about the Titan 11318?
https://www.amazon.ca/11318-4-Inch-90-Tooth-Swivel-Ratcheting/dp/B08LQZQ96P/
No bit storage, but a low profile, fine tooth ratchet.
Koko The Talking Ape
That looks like the best one of all the alternatives. It is made of CrV steel, which (in my mind) makes up for the narrow handle and lack of bit storage.
But the pivoting head doesn’t lock like the others. I don’t know if that would make any difference in practice.
Jared
Titan makes aluminum-handled versions too, just FYI. Anodized in a variety of colors. I want the CrV version myself – but also think the aluminum one might be lighter and nicer to carry. 🤔
Jared
P.s. The roto head has hex screws, so I assume you could tighten it to compensate for being unable to index the angle.
Blocky
In practice, lack of a locked position becomes very annoying when doing small adjustments for placement or hand-tensioning, especially when you have to unswivel the head to easily change the ratcheting direction- x2 when re-setting a fastener. The ratchet style head also gives poor side clearance and visibility for many screws.
Koko The Talking Ape
This version has some complaints about the head coming off or breaking when dropped. Apparently that entire section is made of white metal (I suppose a zinc alloy.)

Are my eyes going bad, or does there appear to be a Wera Xyclops handle design embedded in this Felo handle? It looks like they took a Wera Xyclops, and then dipped it in some kind of layer of foam or rubber/plastic, added a rounded end cap, and rebranded it.
I’m not saying this in a bad way. Wera Xyclops handles are good… it’s just a little odd to look at a different brand like this (that I’m not sure shares any connection to Wera) and see a Wera patented shape embedded in the product? I can see the diamond bodied design, and even a little bit of the shaped grooving on the forward end, with most of it filled in at the rear, and covered over with that round end cap.
Or… Are Wera and Felo related companies, and I should shut up for stating the obvious? Are my eyes going bad? Anybody else seeing the Xyclops handle subtly shaping the handle of this Felo?
Reed Prince
I have a Wera Zyclop ratchet, as well as this Felo (and other Felo Ergonic tools) and this is a standard Felo handle.

Even though these are labelled as “Sold Out”, how do we know if they’re still filling a “backorder”…so to speak? I don’t want to waste the time to order one…and never get it.

The deal pricing is over, and so it could be a moot point.
I’ve ordered from KC Tool in the past, and we also have friendly ties with them. I trust them with my own purchases, and enough to have confidence they’ll do right by readers as well.
Since products come from Europe, there are occasional delays, and they usually do a great job of sending alerts when timetables and estimates change.
