Festool’s new SysRoll is a new rolling cart and dolly designed to make Systainer transport as quick and effortless as possible.
Features

- Large 7-7/8″ non-marring caster wheels
- 220 lb weight capacity
- Accessory drawer with 11 lb weight capacity
- Adjustable retaining straps
- Weighs 14.3 lbs when not loaded
The price is set at $175, which seems high if you’re not familiar with Festool products. It seems to me that Festool sets their prices around their product designs instead of the other way around.
The adjustable straps option looks like a well thought out way to avoid having to deal with bungee cords.
I’m not quite sure what the SysRoll’s integrated stair climbing strips are exactly, but from the demo video it looks like the cart has no problems being dragged up a staircase.
The cart will be available in the Spring, with authorized dealers all charging the same MSRP of $175.

Festool is also bringing their new SysCart and stacking T-Loc-compatible SysToolbox to the USA as well.
The toolbox allows you to carry long or bulk items and supplies you might need quick access to, and the new cart has been redesigned to be quicker and easier to use than the previous version.

These might be in our future.
We finally broke down and purchased 2 Festool products – both of the Domino machines and are using them more and more. I like the XL’s (700) design and ergonomics better than the 500’s – but that may be a result of Festool having comments back from users of the 500 when they designed the 700. If the folks who make the aftermarket Dominplate (a very handy accessory) come out with one for the XL and include custom ground cutters for the smaller dominos – then the XL will have an even bigger edge.
