Over at Amazon, today’s deal of the day features a selection of Gerber tools and outdoors products, including the Gerber Truss multi-tool.
Said to be an evolution of the Suspension design, which is currently still on sale for $20, the Truss has all “outboard” and locking tools, meaning you can access all the tools without first having to open the pliers, spring-action pliers, and several new features.

New features include a wire stripper, medium slotted screwdriver, awl, file, and ruler.
It comes with a low-profile sheath that can be mounted to a belt horizontally or vertically.
The Gerber Suspension is a good entry-price-point multi-tool, and it looks like the Truss is a decent update to the design. There are some new features, and existing ones, such as the plain edge and serrated knife blades, appear to have been updated as well.
