Get Some Cheap Screws at Amazon

Amazon is doing their thing again, offering ridiculous prices on screws and other fasteners. This time they’re actually acknowledging it, telling people about their “bargain screws” with “up to 92%” savings.

I’ve purchased fasteners from Amazon before and although it’s usually a good experience, finding the sizes you need can be challenging.

I’ve been scoring these cheap fasteners from Amazon/Small Parts since May. Since the prices are so low, I kept this secret to myself, or so I thought…lol

I don’t search by size, instead I filter the pricing. My patience sifting through 800+ pages paid off in spades. My best score was 1/4″x5″ stainless bolts snagged at 21 cents per bag of 10. Of course I bought 10 bags. Will I ever use all these bolts before I die? Probably not, but I’ll probably use at least 50 of them over the course of a few years. 2 cents a piece for stainless…gotta love it.

I purchased a bunch of stainless steel socket cap screws a while back, and they haven’t been restocked. Amazon itself is putting the word out about the sale, so I thought it justified to relay the info.

I’ve searched for fasteners using a variety of search and browsing techniques, and it’s a pain in the butt every time. Not all fasteners are listed, either. They shop up if I click on them in my wishlist or cart, but not if in the search. Go figure.
