Greatstar-Owned Arrow Tools Filed Layoffs Notice

A reader sent in an email alerting me to upcoming layoffs at Arrow Tools.

Arrow, which is owned by Greatstar, filed a WARN notice that says they will be cutting 140 jobs over the next few months at their Saddle Brook, NJ headquarters.

Their parent company, Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial Co, also owns SK Tools, Shop Vac, WorkPro, Pony, Jorgensen, Goldblatt and several other tool brands.

Arrow produces staplers and other fastening tools and they launched general construction tools in recent years, such as the interestingly-shaped marker holder shown above.

GreatStar acquired Arrow in 2017.

In 2025 GreatStar consolidated several brands – Arrow, SK Tools, Pony, Jorgensen, and Goldblatt – under the Arrow Tool Group.

At this time I could not find a public copy of the WARN notice.
