Harbor Freight’s Black Friday 2019 tool deals don’t look much different than what they’re had in previous years, but they’re still worth a quick peek.
Personally, I’ll be strongly considering a Harbor Freight 5-drawer tool cart, but I’m not quite sure yet. Their US General tool storage products are generally well-regarded, but I’m not sure it’s the best fit for my needs. It is very attractively priced, however, at $179.

On the front page of the sales flyer, above, the US general 44″ x 22″ double bank tool storage cabinets look like really good deals at $400. Looking online at the Harbor Freight coupon database the lowest coupon price on these cabinets is $440 at the moment.
Deals are valid 11/29 thru 12/1/2019. Store hours are said to be extended to 7 am thru 9pm Friday and 8am thru 9pm Saturday.

The Hercules 10″ portable table saw will be $250. Also of note, their Daytona 3 ton jack will be $180.

Harbor Freight’s Hercules 12″ dual bevel sliding miter saw will be $299.
Here are the US General 5-drawer tool carts I was referring, now available in white. It turns out, through a search of the HF Coupon database, that the pricing can be even better with a coupon ending 12/31/19.
The Bauer 20V Max cordless drill/driver kit drops to $55, which is $5 lower than current pricing or previous 20%-off pricing. I bought a test sample last month for $60.
There are a lot of 18V cordless power tool systems you can choose from, and a couple of other DIY brands have drill/driver deals and special buys if you’re willing to stretch your budget up to $70.
I should also talk about Harbor Freight’s current Icon coupon. Save 20% off Icon tools with this coupon code, thru 11/24/19. It’s unclear as to whether we’ll see a new Icon coupon or promo after that time. I’d guess that we’ll see some more Icon tool promos throughout the holiday season, as they’ve been flying off the shelf at my local store.

I wish they would knock a little more off of that yellow Daytona. I’m pretty sure we’ve seen that price before many times.
Chris
I was literally going to type this same thing. I’ve had my eye on the yellow Daytona for at least a year to go with my Pittsburgh garage color scheme, and it’s been 179 on HFQPB coupon all year.
I see this A LOT with HF though on a lot of their products. I bought two of their 44″ cabinets at 399 last year as well; same ish this year.
Have you ever seen their mailers where they’ll have the EXACT same product shown on different pages with different prices?
Nothing is really a deal at HF in my opinion, they’re prices are always low and they very very very rarely fluctuate
Kenneth Stephens
Except for when they go up. That 5 drawer cart used to have a coupon for $149. Now it’s gone way up. The braun lights used to be cheaper too
Chris
I really like my US General roll cab. Had it for a year now and I’ve definitely overloaded a few drawers. They still slide smooth as they did when they were new. For a cheap, reliable, secure tool storage option, you can’t go wrong.
Personally I recommend the roll cab vs the mechanic cart. I’d buy another US general any day over any of the store brands, including husky, craftsman, and Kobalt. (Unless I got a really good deal on one of those, but that’s besides the point)
Only bummer is you can’t fit the side drawer on the 26” roll cab.
Andy
Can anyone tell me anything about their welders? I’ve never welded and I’m looking for a reasonably decent starter unit.
John
That Titanium Easy Flux 125 is a very good little welder. $150 is a no brainer. But please buy quality flux core wire from Blue Demon, INE or Hobart. The spool that comes with it is inferior to all quality name brand wire.
Rob
I’ll second this comment with in the exception of blue demon… That got me a trip to the e.r. popped so bad it was like trying to weld with no flux or gas. More like using aluminum wire on steel. May have been a bad roll idk. But I wont trust it again. I use hobart.
hangovna
A welder buddy bought the flux core 125 and was impressed with it. It’s a great little unit for the homeowner to do tasks up to 3/16″ thick steel.

I recently bought the 1 drawer cart for my FIL, and was surprised by its quality. I’ll probably pick up the 5 drawer at some point. There are plenty of mods and addons for it.
I’m going to be grabbing the Daytona jack. Its not a lowest-ever price, but still solid. I’m hoping there will be some nice coupons to stack.
My stores can barely keep the Icon stuff in stock.
Chris
Any thoughts on husky boxes I’m hoping to get the 52 inch for myself this christmas
Flotsam
i got a Husky 52 in box a few seasons ago. Still love it and it has held up very well, no complaints
Josh
I also have the 52” and love it, has held up well for the few years I’ve had it. Also bought the 42” with the bench top on it at Black Friday last year and like it as well, though I should have gone a second cabinet type instead of the bench top. Has become a convenient place to pile stuff.
Mopar
I keep looking at that miter saw stand. Seems to have decent reviews, and for $90 – 20% seems like a no-brainer.
Adrian
I have that stand and I’ve been very happy with it for DIY. It feels solid and secure once set up , and it’s not difficult to wheel around.
MC703
How deep is it when folded? I’d like to store it against the side wall in my garage
Mopar
The specs say 13″ folded. Though it’s designed to leave the saw mounted if you like, which I would most likely do.
Here’s a youtube vid someone made about it:
MC703
Thanks for the info. Wasn’t equating “folded height” with depth. Make sense now.
Coach James
I wish they would run a good sale on the HF 26″ boxes.
John
There is a coupon for $239.99 for the 26″ US General cabinets, good until end of Jan 2020. That’s $80 off! You’ll find it on the user created HF coupon website HFQPDB.com
I won’t post a direct link because I don’t want HF to pull that coupon for whatever stupid reason. It’s an incredible price for those boxes and regular coupons always exclude US General boxes.
Chris
Pull the coupon? They created it.
John
There are many coupons that no longer work long before the expiration date. I see it often. If you want to make sure a coupon works, just put the code into your HF website cart to verify. I see plenty of them that no longer are accepted. So yes, something in their system makes coupons cease to work even within the window if use.
Drew M
Isn’t the 5 drawer cart $140 right now?
BTW, check out hfqpdb.com
Stuart
I don’t think so, the lowest I see it for right now is $199.
I’m sorry, $170. That’s better than the BF flyer!

I’m been watching for a deal on the 44″ box. Can’t wait to pick it up in a week or three.
Found it in my e-mail. It was $149 on 10/14/2019.
Chris
$399 is the cheapest you’ll ever see them get down to. Especially the new 44×22 deep
Shane
Same prices I’ve seen before wished they would have a real Black Friday sale or at least a good inside track club member sale for that day.
Chris
Seriously though, how much cheaper could HF possibly get? I mean do you just want them to give it away for free?
They are cheaper than EVERYONE
Nathan
that hardwood workbench (hardwood might be a touch of a misnomer) is actually a decent deal. considering you can’t hardly buy the wood to make a bench close to that for 115 once oyu put hardware and other stuff in the price list.
might look at that headlamp for the price if it’s as adjustable as it says. like the craftsman usb one at lowes too though.
Jason
I thought they had excluded the US General tool boxes from the coupons: “Cannot be used with other discount, coupon or any of the following items or brands:…storage cabinets, chests or carts…”
Does anyone know if that’s the case?
carl
That was my experience when I bought my US General box a couple years back. No additional discounts allowed over the advertised price. I’ll also comment that those Black Friday prices are really nothing that one can’t get any other time of the year. HF just rotates the same stuff month to month. In other words, “move along, there’s nothing to see here”.
Drew M
There are 10% coupons from time to time with no exclusions. Generally the 20% and 25% coupons exclude anything “interesting”.
Mark
Any thoughts on that 60″ workbench? I’ve been looking for a workbench for my garage and at $120 that seems worth the purchase.
Jason
If you’re thinking of doing woodworking on it – skip it; too spindly and wobbly. If you’re just puttering it might be okay, but any kind of force will rack that thing like crazy. I’ve talked to some folks that use them as hobby benches or for fly tying with great success, but those don’t apply much force to the bench.
Frank D
To me, it just looks like any other flyer.
I don’t see anything special, not even a door buster, coupon, …
CW
Im wondering why a month after Harbor Freight came out with the 10″ Hercules table saw, they lowered the price to $250.00 and now that Black Friday is looming on the horizon, the price is back up to $379.00?? Obviously, to make a profit, but I think I’ll wait on it and see if it goes down again.
Greg
I’m not seeing much this year. I imagine this has a lot to do with cost of all the additions this year including Icon. Low can only be so low even for Harbor Freight.
