Hilti launched a new Nuron 22V cordless chain saw that they say cuts faster.
Here’s a look at everything Hilti shared with us about their new SCN 60-22 chain saw.
- Up to 20% faster cutting
- Designed for superior handling and ease of use
- Optimized weight distribution for less fatigue and more control
- Up to 240 cuts per charge
Looks like it could be a 16″ size. Cutting speed?

The new Hilti Nuron chain saw delivers up to 20% faster cutting, compared to some other tool that they don’t specify.
It also delivers up to 240 cuts per charge when cutting some kind of wood, and presumably with the highest capacity Nuron battery. Sorry, this is all of the information Hilti saw fit to share with us.

It looks like the new Hilti chain saw is similar in size to the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 2727, which is currently being kitted with a FORGE 12Ah tabless Li-ion battery.
This was all the information that Hilti provided us with. If you have any questions, maybe Hilti’s influencer partners, who attended an exclusive event and have reviews up on social media, can help.

Looks OK – but I’d have wished for a first-of-a-kind cordless concrete cutting chainsaw to fit in with Hilti’s other mason’s tools. Something to compete with one of the smaller gas-engine-drive ones would have been a game changer:

Also was thinking it would be a concrete saw. Based on the “70cc equivalent” of Milwaukees dual battery I would think Hilti could match that Stihl in a dual Nuron battery configuration
