That rigid table saw with stand for $299. Wow! Fantastic deal. A lot of the little deals are already available in store.

Talk about keeping everyone waiting until the last minute!! Been waiting for this one all week.. I guess HD wanted to make a splash and be one of the last ones out with their ad. As a side note, I was at my local HD this afternoon and all the isles are packed full of Black Friday goodies still on pallets and wrapped in black plastic! it was hard NOT to peak under them!

Upon further reflection, last years HD Black Friday ad had quite a few more deals and more items that I wanted. This one is sort of MEH to me..

ok.. upon further, further examination it appears that Stuart didn’t post the ENTIRE HD Black Friday ad. We only see the tool section from the add which is appropriate considering the forum that we in! Im back in..

The full flyer is up on Home Depot’s website, but even with “leaked” or leaked adscans, I only post the tool deal pages.

You can read about the washing machines and wreaths on dozens of other sites, so I only focus on the tools.

The dewalt 20v impact and driver kit with tough case and light seems interesting, depends if it’s the cheapened drill or not.

There are actually 2 Dewalt combo kits configured with a drill, impact, and LED worklight

The one in the sales flyer for $169? It comes with their “special buy” drill: DCKTS340C2.

There’s another combo kit with a drill, impact, and LED light, but with brushless tools and a $299 price tag: DCKTS386D2

The “D2” means the kit comes with 2x 2.0Ah batteries, while the less expensive kit is a “C2” kit with 1.5Ah batteries.

Well, anyone have experience with the Ryobi miter? Seems like a good deal, with the stand, looks really good!
I’m debating between this or the $99 Hitachi over at Lowe’s and making my own stand.
I am definitely getting the Air Strike brad nailer.

Hitachi was my first miter saw, served me well, still gets used as a back up now and then. Recommended.

That Ridgid $199 table saw is the R4516.

Is the R4513 a decent saw? I was looking at the DW745 which is also a special buy but I read it does not support a dado stack. My Home Depot also a few Bosch GTS1031 saws on clearance for $300 so I’m just not sure which one is best at the $300 price point. I’ll be using it mainly for woodworking and home projects.

Speaking as a HD associate, if you often use hole saws the Milwaukee kit for $39.99 is a very good deal, and they only stock about 20 per store. Of course, they’re always gone by the time I get there.

Has anyone else noticed that the Black Friday Dewalt 12 inch compound sliding miter saw is not the same as the one in miter saw isle? Are other tools being made just for Black Friday as well?

I noticed that at the top of the drill/impact what looks to be the dewalt dcd985 and impact combo (831170) are claimed to be brushless. Speaking as someone who owns a dcd985, it is not brushless. Is this a typo, a different drill, or a scam?

You’re right, that combo is definitely not brushless. Somebody at HD goofed; it’s a typo.

Thanks Stuart for doing all the leg work on all the deal tracking and posting this, it saves me the headache of searching around when I know I can simply use your site for the best info. Thanks!!
I had previously picked up a fed items earlier this week at Home Depot, and I figured I didn’t see anything else I needed. But when I scanned today’s post just in case I saw the two pack of Makita batteries, and it just so happens I needed some new ones and I was on the fence about replacing the batteries or going through the mental games of deciding which new platform to buy into or continue… etc etc you know the drill. In the end 2 new batteries will keep me going until next holiday season or until I have some other reason to upgrade or replace.
