Over at Home Depot, they have quite a few cordless power tool deals of the day today. There are some power tool accessory deals as wells as well, but the main focus seems to be on cordless bundles.
There are a lot of Milwaukee offerings, as well as Ridgid and Ryobi deals.

Some of the deals have bonuses added to seasonal deals, such as an M12 Fuel drill and impact driver kit bundled with an extra battery, others are discounted, such as the M18 Fuel router and battery bundle being $10 less expensive than it was last week.
There are also special bundles, such as this Milwaukee M12 automotive-focused cordless tool bundle, featuring the M12 Fuel right angle die grinder, M12 Fuel cut-off saw, M12 (non-Fuel) 3/8″ ratchet, and 3x 2.0Ah Li-ion batteries.
You will need your own M18/12 or M12 charger with this deal bundle.
Price: $349

The different M12 automotive tools are also featured in other smaller bundle sets.
There are also combo kit deals, bonus battery deals, and other promos.
Ridgid 18V tool users – there are some Octane bundles as well. I don’t know why I think these are just for existing Ridgid users, each bundle is essentially its own kit, with a cordless tool, battery, and charger.

The M12 90 degree die grinder plus battery for $159 is an incredible deal. Since early this year HD has been charging $179 for the die grinder alone, no battery.

Not as great a deal – but Acme is offering $20 off on $199 using code DADSDAY20.
You need to spend $219 or more to get the free shipping ($199 threshold) – otherwise flat rate shipping is applied.

Max Tool has $25 off $200 for a variety of brands including Klein, Metabo, Bosch, Makita, etc. Plus if you bought anything from them last month you can now cash in your “Max Cash” rebate.
They also have a free shipping cutoff at $199, but it seems that the pre-discount price applies. If anyone needs anything to pad out their order they currently have Milwaukee bulldog and offset straight aviation snips for $7 and change each.
Home Depot also has a couple great deals on Dewalt 20V max batteries. You can get two 2ah and two 4ah for $159 (theoretically, anyway) or one 4ah compact plus 1 6ah for $149

That automotive tool bundle looks good. I like seeing HD offer bundles and deals on tools that just “core” stuff.

Agreed x2!

I like that they offer the more complex bundles as well, it’s nice to see a tool in a bundle that’s not just another recip saw or a drill/driver. But that said I wish that HD would put some of the nicer tools in the bundle. I’d be interested if that were a Fuel ratchet in the set..but the old brushed model? Not so much.
Something else I’ve noticed is that HD often has these kind of bundles on their site when other vendors like CPO, Acme, etc, have a much more flexible deal: “buy a tool on list A, get any tool you want from list B for free”. It seems that while those companies set up their website to let you pick your freebie, Home Depot just lists a bunch of pre-made combos instead.

They have a pretty good deal on that M12 cut-off tool I’ve had my eye on. Free battery! 2.0 Ah, but still.
Thanks, Stuart!

They also have a pretty good deal on M12 batteries, a pair of 2.0 Ah and a pair of Extended Capacity 4.0 Ah, all for $149. Separately they’d be over $300. Looks like it doesn’t end tonight either.

I find it hard to use the 4 or 6 ah M12 – at that point you might as well grab the M18. Exceptions are lights and compressor and vacuum I guess.
My best batter is the 3.0 ah M12 but that one is hard to find in a bundle.

I have about 12 tools that I use daily, and 4’s and 6’s are all I use.
Except for the pin nailer and instalation tool.
When your crawling inside cabinets all day long, the weight savings/arm angle is worth it.
That is a very good deal on the sds max as well!

Hah! I didn’t realize there are two 3.0 Ah M12 batteries, the Extended Capacity with the square base, and the Compact, which just fills out the handle of drills and such, just like the 2.0 Ah.
It’s kind of amazing how small the Compact is. It’s about half the volume of the XC. I wonder if there’s’ a weight difference. It’s slightly cheaper too, at least when bought alone. But it’s not on sale now.

HD often has great deals on Milwaukee batteries. Earlier this year they had a three-pack of 1x 2.0, 1x 4.0, and 1x.6.0 for $129. I picked up a couple of those.
@Tom D
I love the compact 3.0 battery. In my opinion that and the 6.0 are the only ones they ought to bother making. For me it depends on the tool in question for which is optimum. For automotive tools like ratchets and impact wrenches that one has to cram into tight spots the batteries which fit inside the handle are a must, and the largest of those is the 3.0. For larger tools like, say, the 5 1/2-inch circular saw, you can easily accommodate the 6.0 battery and get a lot more runtime without making the tool difficult to use. Likewise if you wanted to use the Hatchet chainsaw or a Hackzall for pruning: the 6.0 wouldn’t get in the way so there’s no reason not to use it.

I’m about to embark on building a metal frame deck to replace the wooden deck (1500 sf) on our home. I saw this deal at Home Depot & it took me awhile to grasp how good deal it was. I probably wouldn’t need it on a wood frame deck, but it’ll be critical for metal.
It went out of stock online before I could snag one, but it became available yesterday for a few hours & I got mine in that small window of opportunity. Price is good thru July 3rd, IF you can find anyone who has it.
