This isn’t really the best Black Friday deal ever. It’s not even that great of a deal. But I’ve been searching for these Home Depot 2 gallon Homer buckets for a couple of YEARS now, ever since buying one for Halloween (or around then) a couple of years ago.
These are perfectly sized for smaller jobs, but also for things like kids’ trick or treat buckets and beach pails.
I’m off to my local Home Depot to buy like 12 of them – wish me luck!
Before I go, I’ll be checking our Home Depot Black Friday 2019 tool deals page, to see if there’s anything else I should scope out while there.
I’d prefer to buy these buckets online so I wouldn’t have to brave Black Friday traffic, but where’s the fun in that? Besides, I could use some fresh air.

I will also likely pick up some Stanley Powerlock tape measures, which are currently an in-store-only deal.

If you have a menards near you, they have 2 gallon buckets for $1. Based on the picture you posted though, the menards ones are not as thick-walled. For $1, they are great for tasks where the bucket is usually toast afterwords, like mixing paint or mortar.

Too bad they aren’t the 2.5 gallon size. I use that size for my boat under the jump seats.

Why travel to Home Depot when you could order 23 of them and get them shipped to home for free? (I honestly can’t see how HD makes money on that deal).

I was planning on buying a couple of those tapes, but they aren’t the normal Powerlocks. They were imported, while the singles were made in the US.
I did find they have a great deal on the 3’ shop lights at $10.88.
