Home Depot’s PRO Black Friday 2019 tool deals and specials will kick off on Thursday, 11/14/2019. The sale pricing has not been activated for some of the items yet, but at least we have a good idea of what the tool deals will be.
Some of the Pro Black Friday 2019 deals are already at the pricing they’re going to be, and the other discounts will go live 11/14/2019.

We’ll be continuing with our Black Friday and Holiday tool deals coverage – subscribe to our newsletter to receive alerts via email.
My local Home Depot already has most if not all of their Pro Black Friday 2019 tool deals on the sales floor already. I’ll check back one last time later in the week and online, and will add in any new noteworthy deals.
Please let us know if there are any errors, and please share any other notable deals you come across!
The promo and deal pricing end dates are uncertain.

Milwaukee PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
As previously discussed, there will be a Milwaukee 9pc Hole Dozer hole saw set for $30. While not as good as past years’ deals, it’s an okay value. You get 5 sizes of hole saws with this set, plus an arbor, pilot drills, and adapters.
Sale Price: $30
Milwaukee has also come out with a 3/8″ drive 28pc SAE mechanics tool set and Packout bundle. At this price, I’d consider this a lukewarm deal. This bundle would be a good value the rest of the year, but I expected to see better Pro Black Friday pricing.
The regular set is currently priced at $89, and these Packout organizers are typically $25 with removable bins. You don’t get the removable bins with this bundle, but you should be able to purchase them separately if you decide to permanently house the tool set in a tool box drawer or similar.
Price: $99
There’s also another promo with this same Milwaukee mechanics tool set and Packout bundle, but it includes an added 8pc screwdriver set. That screwdriver set is a holiday promo for $20 by itself, and the bundle price for all this is $110.
If you were going to buy the mechanics tool set and screwdriver set, you could consider the Packout case a no-cost upgrade. Or, if you were going to buy the mechanics tool set and Packout bundle, you could consider the screwdriver set as a half-price bonus, costing $10 extra instead of $20.

There are a couple of Milwaukee M18 bare tools and batteries on display.
- M18 Fuel Surge Driver (reg. price $149)
- M18 Fuel Angle Grinder (reg. price $179)
- M18 Brushless 7-1/4″ Circular Saw (reg. price $179)
- M18 6.0Ah High Output Battery 2-Pack (reg. price $199)
- M18 Super Charger and 8.0Ah High Output Battery (reg. price $199)
If left to guess, I would say we could possibly expect to see the M18 Fuel and brushless tools discounted to $129. The M18 High Output 6.0Ah battery 2-pack is now down to $179, and the starter kit is $199 at other sellers, so we might see a drop to $179 as well or even lower.
Another Milwaukee display was stocked with M12 3.0Ah battery 2-packs and M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kits.
Pre-Sale Price: $99 for the M12 batteries, on sale for $79

They have the Milwaukee M18 2-gallon wet/dry vacuum. I bought one last year as part of a bundle pack, and it’s a very convenient vac. It’s a shame that kit bundle isn’t available again this year, that was one of the best deals of the Pro Black Friday sale.
Pre-Sale Price: $119
Sale Price: $89
This year’s Milwaukee Shockwave screwdriver bit bundle is a 45pc set.
I watched the price drop from $25 to $15 in-store, and don’t think it’s going to go any lower than that. At the time of this posting, the set is still $25 online.
Sale Price: $15
Milwaukee’s 15pc Shockwave Red Helix drill bit set is on sale again.
The price was $25 at my local store, and now down to $18 there. This same set was $15 last year. Right now the online price is $30, but that’s inflated compared to other Red Helix bit sets you can buy right now.
$18 wouldn’t be terrible, but $15 would be better.
Sale Price: $18

If you go through jab saws a lot, or can never find one, this Milwaukee 2-pack is on sale for $10. It might dip lower, but probably not. The regular price is $8 each.
Sale Price: $10
They have a display of low-profile Packout organizers.
Reg. Price: $40
Sale Price: $30
I visited several Home Depot stores in the past few weeks, and they all had a bigger selection of Packout tool boxes and combos this year. The 3pc combo is almost definitely going to be on sale for $199 again, similar to promos other retailers are already running.
Update: The Packout combos are NOT on sale yet. Home Depot’s website is reporting inventory of dozens at each store, and so there might be a Black Friday Doorbuster-type of deal.
Empire, a Milwaukee Tool company, has a new 48″ and 24″ level 2-pack. These are slightly different from last year’s promo levels, but appear to be very similar.
I bought last year’s Empire deal online and was surprised (and very pleased) that they were shipped in custom-fit packaging and separate from the rest of my order. There was zero shipping damage, which is more than I can say about some of my other Home Depot online orders.
Current Price: $25
Likely Sale Price: $20
Update: The price is still $25, we have not see any further discounts (yet).
Dewalt PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
Dewalt has a new 20V Max cordless power tool combo kit this year, DCK444C2, featuring a drill, impact driver, LED worklight, oscillating multi-tool, (2) 1.3Ah batteries, charger, and kit bag.
The drill looks to be Dewalt’s DCD771 holiday season special buy, but the other tools are main-line tools.
Price: $199
Dewalt has another 20V Max 4-tool cordless power tool combo kit, DCKTS425D1M1, with this one being a step up from the other kit.
This kit comes with a hammer drill, impact driver, LED worklight, circular saw, 2.0Ah battery, 4.0Ah battery, charger, and ToughSystem tool box.
Price: $299
Here’s the Dewalt DCKTS882D2M1 bundle, an 8-tool 20V Max cordless power tool combo kit that comes with:
- DCD771 cordless drill
- DCF885 impact driver
- DCS381 reciprocating saw
- DCL040 LED worklight
- DCS393 circular saw
- DcS355 oscillating multi-tool
- DCG412 angle grinder
- DCF883B 3/8″ impact wrench
- (2) 2.0Ah batteries
- 4.0Ah battery
- Charger
- ToughSystem rolling tool box
The drill is Dewalt’s seasonal holiday special model, but the other tools are all main-line and “combo kit” tools. The rolling ToughSystem tool box is always a great inclusion, and it’s convenient that you get two compact batteries for the lighter duty tools and a higher capacity battery to use with the saws and other heavier duty tools.
Price: $499
The very popular DWS779 12″ sliding miter saw special buy is also present this year.
Pre-Sale Price: $399
Expected Sale Price: $349
Update: The online price only reduced to $385 so far. BUT, the saw + stand for $399 combo deal is back, see below.

Do you need a new collapsible rolling miter saw stand? My local store has a tall stack of Dewalt DWX726 miter saw stands. Last year there was a bundle featuring this stand and the promo miter saw, but it’s unclear as to whether Home Depot will do that again this year.

Dewalt’s FlexVolt 9.0Ah battery started off the holiday season at $179, and I found it for $149 today at my local store.
Home Depot’s website currently shows a price of $179, and so I think $149 might be the final sale price. Other authorized dealers also have it for $179 right now, or $249 for a 2-pack.
Sale Price: $149
Dewalt has a bundle with a 6 gallon pancake-style air compressor, brad nailer, and air hose, model DW1KIT18PP.
The online price is currently $229, and so I think $179 will be the final sale price, which was also last year’s deal.
Price: $179
More specifically, this bundle comes with Dewalt’s DWFP55126 air compressor ($160 via Amazon) and DWFP12233 Precision Point brad nailer ($100 via Amazon), plus an air hose with quick-connect fittings. Seems like a very good deal.
Stock up on common construction-application screwdriver bit sizes with these MaxFit assortments. The 120pc set is priced at $20, and the 45pc set is $10.
It also looks like you get Dewalt’s new stacking ToughCase+ screwdriver bit organizer boxes.

Two 25′ tape measures for the price of one! These aren’t Dewalt’s finest, but it comes down to $7.50 per tape measure, which is a good value. These tapes have been around for a while and they seem to have good reviews.

Ridgid PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
Ridgid’s OF60150HB 6-gallon air compressor is currently priced at $129, and we expect it to go on sale for $99. It seems like a good deal.
Price: $99
Ridgid’s special value air nailer bundle makes a return as well, featuring a 23 gauge 1-3/8″ headless pin nailer with a free 18 gauge brad nailer.
Price: $119
There’s a new Ridgid jobsite table saw with folding roller stand for this year, model R4514. This new Ridgid table saw looks very different compared to their R4513 model, with two of the sides open instead of being fully enclosed.
The product imagery – online and on the in-store packaging – doesn’t show a rip fence, but if you look closely you can that the fence is attached to the rear of the cage, presumably in its storage position.
With this design, the rip fence rails extend beyond the table top on both sides to give you extra rip capacity (max 30″ fence-right according to online specs).
Sale price: $299
Bosch PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
The usual Bosch 6pc Daredevil self-feeding spade drill bit set is in-store and in huge quantities.
This deal was $5 last year, from $10. It’s currently priced at $11, and so I’m thinking we might see it on sale for $6 this year.
Sale Price: $7
There’s a display packed with a Bosch self-leveling cross-line green laser, and a 165 ft-range laser distance measuring tool.

Curiously, Home Depot describes both products as their “exclusive,” but similar tools are available through other Bosch dealers. Lowe’s, Home Depot’s largest competitor, also carries both products.
Klein PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
Here’s what my store’s Klein tool deals display looked like on Day 1. The electrical test kit deals sold out fast, and half the wire stripper and multi-but screwdriver bundles are now sold as well.
We wrote about these deals previously, here.
You can’t buy either promo online yet.
Update: The tester kit appeared online at the same price as in-store.

Makita PRO Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
I spotted a new Makita 18V brushless cordless power tool combo kit, XT284SX1, featuring an impact driver and 1/2″ square drive impact wrench. It’s bundled with (2) 3.0Ah batteries, a charger, and carrying bag.
This is so new that only a couple of online retailers have it listed so far. We’re bound to see this combo kit featured in several retailers’ Black Friday and holiday season promos.
Current Price: $179

This Makita combo kit, XT281S, features their holiday season special-buys, (2) 3.0Ah batteries, a charger, and carrying bag.
Basically, you get the same tools you’d get if you bought the separate $99 kits, but you save money by only getting one charger instead of two, and only one tool bag. It’s nice money-saving option if you want both tools.
Price: $179
Makita has 18V 6.0Ah battery 2-packs.

Anyone know a good deal for getting into the Makita battery system? I’ve got a cordless Makita circular saw, but no batteries. Any deals on batteries and charger combo? Or cheaper to buy one of these two battery kits to get at the charger and batteries even though I have no need for the drill and driver? I see they sell the two batteries, but the charger alone is pretty spendy. Thanks
Matt
Think you can get 2 batteries and a charger for $199 and then choose a bonus “free” tool.
Tim E.
This is likely your best bet. Home Depot has the deal buy the 2x4Ah starter kit, get a tool (or more batteries) for free. 2x4Ah and 2x5Ah for 199 for makita is not a bad deal.
Chris
Not sure about big box stores, but check acmetools, toolnut, ohiopowertools, or any other smaller power tool retailer for deals. The above three often have some good BOGO deals going on. The best way to build up your tool collection is to buy a battery starter kit that is eligible for a free tool or two. Or sometimes you buy 2 bare tools and get a free battery set. Depends on the seller but it’s one of the best ways to go.
Mike
There are multiple Makita promos right now, available at most online retailers. Here’s their latest:
https://www.makitatools.com/promos
The OPE 4x batteries + dual charger + tool can be a great value, but *only if* you need a chainsaw, blower, mower, etc.
As far as more conventional deals — ToolBarn is participating in the free tool w/purchase of a starter kit:
2×4.0ah – https://www.toolbarn.com/makita-bl1840bdc2.html/
2×5.0ah – https://www.toolbarn.com/makita-bl1850bdc2x.html/
Add to cart, go to cart, select free gift (jigsaw, multi-tool, rotary hammer, router, etc). That’s two batteries, charger, and a $100-159 bare tool for ~$200.
Use code AFL593019 for $5 off, or sign up for emails and they’ll give you $10 off.
Kizzle
I’m pretty invested into DeWalt and Milwaukee, but the circular saw that had the better features I wanted was from Makita. So I got the saw, but now need the batteries and the charger. Good tip on the smaller retailers, might get better deals there. I actually found a good starter kit that has the charger and 5.0ah battery for $95. Don’t have to go all in this way.
fred
Acme has a $25 off on $100 Makita deal (code MAKITA25)
They also have a 2 battery + charger + bag kit that adds a promotional tool (some different choices) – but its a bit spendy and the $25 off doesn’t stack on.

fred
Toolnut has a similar deal on a starter kit with 5Ah batteries

Keep your eyes open but soon something else will pop up at ACME or ToolNut etc. 1st choose whatever other tool you need/want lol then you can dedicate to that specific tool or two. Prob in a “bundle” w/ free battery. Or as I have done many times & most recently for a friends makita 12v… eBay: check sellers for reviews ( some have outstanding warranties 5yr etc) grab a 2x pack of a 6.0ah and a OEM Makita Charger. I mean you can go generic for the charger also, but I kinda believe the charger is important bc of how Lithium battery charging mostly works. But no have to buy OEM. Or like someone else said buy the 2x battery & charger combo then choose a free bare tool at depot or Lowe’s. I would wait till Black Friday or right after (cyber Mond…week? Lol) bc more stuff pops up around and after for sale. CPO Outlets has an eBay/amazon/URL store & ive noticed the sales differ from each! Sign up for their newsletter can’t hurt. (Nabbed flexvolt slider last year w/2x batteries for less then $450! But was only on sale on eBay, price differed on their website)
Jim
You might want to check your local HD store. My local store had 2×3.0Ah Makita batteries for $99 when I went last week. They were setup in the Black Friday area at the front of the store.
Jason
Nothing. Nothing really of interest.
Sam's Garage
agreed

That Makita Impact Wrench combo looks like a great deal! The wrench itself usually goes for $150. Add 2 batteries, a charger, an impact driver, and a tool bag and this is one heck of a deal…
Adam
I might pick up some of the Milwaukee batteries. I could use at least one high capacity one for the cordless vac. Otherwise, not a lot that’s interesting.

Thanks for posting! I’ll delay heading to Home Depot for a few days. 🙂

Guess HD finally learned their lesson.
People used to get C&D threats from the HD legal dept. for even mentioning HD BF deals online and possible pricing, much less posting images of the deals from inside the store. Now they’re apparently fine with it or even outright begging tool blogs to mention them and show off what they’ll be selling.
I wonder if this will extend to their BF ad as well of if they will continue to act as if it’s a violation of national security if someone posts photos of it online before they “officially” put in up on their site.
Stuart
This isn’t an adscan, it’s legwork.
John B
I just want to say thank you and that I’m grateful for your efforts
Alex vR
I couldn’t wait to see if my local HD would be offering that amazing deal, $179 for two, six amp batteries (Normally $299), which Amazon delivered on Sunday after I purchased them on Saturday (You can’t beat that!). Now, if Makita would just release an X2 Table Saw, I’d be set.
daniel
that M18 8.0 with charger deal shows $299 online. I’m betting it MAYBE goes to $199, but more likely $249 since its the new SUPERcharger. also, my store has that full width slim packout for $29.88 and also has the 2-pack of M18 3.0ah HO batteries down to $99 already.
Jon
If you don’t need the charger the best deal on m18 batteries is currently $199 for 12.0 and 8.0 HO.

Yes it is!
I’ve got a pair scheduled for delivery tomorrow. A very good “value” for these two longer run batteries.
Skye A Cohen
First off great work! This is awesome! Now a question: I want to get that new milwuakee M18 rear handle circular saw (the worm drive looking saw) anyone have a guess if it’ll be on sale or seen it on sale anywhere or part of a buy one get a free high output battery deal or something like that? I’d just buy one tomorrow but we’re so close to all this black Friday stuff I wouldn’t want to miss a killer deal
RobTR8
CPO has the 2732-20 for $249 and the 2732-21 for $449.
They just had an 11% off sale last week. Worthwhile getting on their ML.
MrWeedley
Haven’t seen an ad with it yet. Right now best option for the 2830 is for the bare tool $269 everywhere and the 8 and 12ah battery deal at HD for 199
Frank D
The MW display is gone at our HD, just leaving a dozen packout stacks sitting there oddly, forming its own red island, at the pro desk.
Even if they’re dropped to $199 … don’t know that they’ll move them … because people know / expect the ridgid stack will be down to $99 again for BF. And. so many people are using dewalt, husky, … solutions or are still using bags & buckets. Not that there’s an issue with that. I put two new buckets with organizers in rotation as quick grabs for demolition type work. Just seems a little too late with the packout push. We’re two years in. Finally the stuff is in store?! Personally, I wish HD would be more aggressive with their pricing, rather than being the last on the block and then just doing holiday pricing for a day; because I have grown to hate the whole Thanksgiving & BF two day retail routine.
Stuart
The hard part is that my store has $199 signage, and I can’t tell if that’s pre-sale or PRO BF pricing.
I saw one quarter pallet of Ridgid crates at one store for $15 per crate/tote, but that’s the only Ridgid tool box display I saw. More might show up for BF, but I’d expext to see some on the sales floor by now.
Patrick Kriengsiri
MAP torch already at $45 at my local Home Depot (Atlanta). That’s not a bad deal, may pick one up as backup.
Blythe
I got the m18 surge for $119 a week ago. The signage was up at the display but it hadn’t been changed to that in their system yet
Thom
I love those folding plastic saw horses. I have 2 Keters but @ 2 for $20 I will get another set of the Husky
Jeff from Tool Box Buzz
What are your thoughts on the 46″ husky 9 drawer deep tool chest? Think that will be a Black Friday item again? Since last year they added a few more colors so I thought maybe it wouldn’t be happening but my store in the last couple weeks has inventory of them in the double digits. I’m looking to pick up a second one but not for the current $400 price tag.
Tim E.
Hey Stuart, do you know of any non-cosmetic differences between the old Milwaukee 2gal toolbox vac and the new one? I like the fact that the hose is inside now and there isn’t the side holder to get caught on everything, but can’t decide if it’s worth upgrading just for that. I remember some comments that while the suction is the same, the newer version was quieter or had a different tone or something… any insights you can provide on if you think it’s worth getting this new version to replace an older one?
Thanks for taking the time to update these deals, and everything else!
Bill
Just saw the M18 6.0Ah High Output Battery 2-Pack (reg. price $199) drop online to $179. My local store had them at $199 yesterday.
Bill
And the M18 CP 3.0Ah High Output Battery 2-pack dropped to $99 from $149
Dave
The Milwaukee 9 piece hole dozer is down to $29.97 as of 10 minutes ago. Just a FYI.
Stuart
Thanks! That’s the price it was supposed to be all along.
