Over at Home Depot, they have “special buy deal of the day” tool deals, today only, 10/5/2021. While a lot of the deals are very nicely priced, only a couple of deals grabbed my attention.
Shown above, they have bundle sets, featuring Milwaukee’s 7pc ratcheting combination wrench sets and a 4pc pick set. The SAE wrench set and metric wrench set bundles are $90 each. Both 7pc wrench sets (SAE 48-22-9406, metric 48-22-9506) typically sell for $129 each.

They widely acclaimed Milwaukee M12 Fuel Stubby 3/8″ impact wrench (kit, 2554-22-2364-20) is bundled with an M12 LED worklight for $239.
The M12 Fuel brushless Stubby impact wrench kit (2554-22) typically sells for $269 by itself.
If you’re not a fan of the worklight, there are similar deals featuring the 3/8″ and 1/2″ stubby impact wrench kits bundled with a bonus XC 6Ah battery.
Milwaukee’s M18 Packout-compatible LED worklight and charger is bundled with an XC 5Ah battery for $179.

The Milwaukee Packout worklight and M18 charger is typically priced at $199 by itself.

Also: Ryobi Polisher Kit
The only non-Milwaukee product to also catch my attention was this Ryobi 18V cordless polisher and sander kit. The bare tool launched at $129, and here this kit it is on sale for $119. The kit comes with a 2Ah battery and charger.
This deals also ends at 3am ET 10/6/21 unless it sells out sooner.

Not a deal, but purportedly some of the Craftsman V-Series is available to order now.
Stuart
Yes, but Lowe’s pricing seems *off*. I’m waiting for official specs from Craftsman any day now.
Chris
Can’t wait to see a complete list of CM v-series tools.
Jared
Great! 👍
The V-Series is the most exciting thing on my tool horizon. I asked Craftsman again today about availability in Canada – in not so many words they said “come back and ask again in the new year”. 😞
P.S. The other thing I’m waiting to hear more about is the baby pliers wrench. You know, if you’re looking for ideas. 😁
Brandon
Are you referring to the Knipex pliers wrench? Absolute game changer for me. I tossed all my crescent wrenches in the garbage and replaced them with the Knipex pliers wrench.

ToolNut has a deal ($25 to $50 off Milwaukee) going on today:

Acme – says they are offering 20% off on some Milwaukee kits:

Was already looking to get the M18 1/2″ mid torque impact wrench with 5.0 battery at $219, so $199 was a nice surprise this morning.

Are those the infar made wrenches?
Are they good?

Still waiting on Dewalt to come out with a hydraulic impact driver to compete with the Milwaukee surge. The only reason I switched from dewalt 18 v to Milwaukee was because of the Surge impact driver. I’ll switch back to dewalt when they offer their version.
Clay
Me too.

I’m still waiting on Acme or Toolnut to come back with the 20% off bare tools deal so that I can pick up the M18 framing nailer. My plan is to run it with an adapter and a Dewalt 20V battery. Everything I’ve read says it’s a much better gun than the DCN692.
Haven’t decided yet where I stand with the 15/16ga or 18ga guns…anyone have any real world input on that one?

The Milaukee 18ga Brad Nailer is a workhorse. I put it through the ringer building a couple dozen squirrel picnic tables. Being able to adjust the nail depth and changing nail lengths at multiple points in the assembly process really demonstrates how flexible some of these devices have become. While I haven’t used it extensively for multiple years I can only speak to how much the improvements in their basic usability features have lead to a tremendous amount of flexibility on a wide variety of projects. The amount of time saved was worth it.

I sometimes wonder if some of these deals are a product of cheaper parts. Resulting in more down time. I noticed my dog food bag isn’t 30 pounds anymore, it’s now a 24 pound bag. Price didn’t change though! I was initially a little mad about it. But after thinking about it, I’m glad they increased the per pound cost, rather than using lower quality ingredients.
Albert
Maybe they did both. Mix in a little sawdust and reduce the bag to 24 pounds rather than use the same ingredients and reduce the bag to 20 pounds.

I though about that, but I think the company is better than that. But I will be monitoring my dog for any negative changes.

As of October 12th, Acme tools has some select tools on sale. Biggest discount is $50 off of $399.00! I think the Metabo 36v router fits the discount. That would lower the price to $349.00!
