Over at Home Depot, they have some new tool deals of the day, today only, 7/5/2021.
Here’s a quick look at some of the more interesting deals.

Ridgid 18V Cordless Sander with 2Ah Battery & Charger: $99
$99 for what’s essentially a Ridgid 18V cordless sander kit is a great buy, and there are a couple of other single tool “kits” like this one, also on sale today.
Dewalt Brushless Reciprocating Saw Kit w/ Impact Wrench: $259
The compact reciprocating saw kit, DCS367L1 is $249 at Amazon and other dealers, and comes with a compact 3Ah battery and charger. For $10 more, this kit gives you a 1/2″ mid-torque impact wrench.
Ridgid 6-1/8″ Jointer: $599
The Ridgid JP0610 is on sale at what looks to be a good price, although I don’t think the savings are quite as high as the $200/25% listed on the product page. But, what’s important to point out is that the jointer is on stock, which has only been true a couple of times over the past few years.

Milwaukee M12 Fuel Wet/Dry vacuum Kit w/ 6Ah Battery & Charger: $149
Milwaukee’s new M12 Fuel compact cordless wet/dry vacuum, which boasts 18V-class power levels, is on sale for $149. It’s kitted with an M12 XC 6Ah battery and charger. The vacuum’s optional wall mount (included) is one of the unique points about this vacuum, in addition to its 2 power levels and great performance for its size.
Dewalt 53pc Mechanics Tool Set & ToughSystem 2.0 Tool Box: $99
Dewalt’s new ToughSystem 2.0 and 3/8″ mechanics tool set bundle is on sale again.
Before you buy this, take a look at this Dewalt 53pc tool set on Amazon, and current ToughSystem 2.0 tool box pricing at Home Depot.
Milwaukee High-Visibility Work Gloves: $70 – $90 for 12-pairs
There are several Milwaukee work glove deals today – 12 pair packs of A2, A3, and A4 cut-resistant work gloves in high visibility green.
Thankfully, Milwaukee’s work gloves are available in a range of sizes from small to XXL.
(Seriously, what’s with some of their competitors only releasing L and XL sized gloves? What, those of us with small, medium, or XXL sized hands don’t deserve hand protection?)

The Ridgid Jointer (UPC 648846050447) is actually one of the Ridgid brand tools made by Emerson – not TTI.
Eons ago Emerson used to make most of the stationary power tools for Sears to be sold under the Craftsman brand

I picked up the Dewalt Fan with 5Ah battery for $119. The fan itself is normally $119 and is on sale for $99 but the deal with the 5Ah battery is better. When I first heard about it, it was sold out and I put myself on the notification list and it came back in stock – https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-20-Volt-MAX-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-and-Corded-Jobsite-Fan-Tool-Only-with-20-Volt-MAX-XR-Lithium-Ion-1-5-0Ah-Battery-DCE511BWDCB205/315568908

I took advantage of that same deal a couple months ago. Always thought the fan was incredibly overpriced and would never pay even $99 for the fan only. But when you get the 5ah battery too, it’s a great deal. I sold the battery for $60. Fan reduced to $40. Awesome awesome little fan, too.

I checked the site at around 4:00AM. The Rigid belt sander kit was already sold out, probably in under an hour. That was what I was watching for. I wonder if they only had a few available. Or gobbled up by resale people? Regular kit price was$189.00.

I am convinced that they just recycle some deals with or without stock. How else does some of this stuff sell out so fast and sometimes when the “deal” isn’t even that great.
Stuart
That’s possible, but there are a lot of new deals here too.
It could be that some tool deals are linked together, such as the Ridgid, or the promos could be set up in advance, with inventory expected to arrive at in time for when the deals are scheduled for.
Stuart
Every now and then I’m up and check before calling it a night. Some deals sell out quickly (such as by 4am), others seem to be sold out at the start (such as at 3:02am).
Years ago, Amazon had Friday or weekend tool deals of the day kicking off at 3am, and all the good stuff would be sold out by 3:15am.

When I opened the link, I saw all sizes of those gloves listed, S – XXL. Am I seeing something in my area you don’t get?
Stuart
It’s *other brands* that don’t always have full sizing options.
I mentioned the size availability in case anyone else has been annoyed by the lack of small, medium, or XXL inclusion in other brands’ promos or new offerings.

Oops. Pays to read more closely.
